- I admit this was a tough one to make. There were so many great moments between V and Johnny throughout the story that it was hard at times what to include. It goes without saying that there are some major spoilers in here so you have been warned!

Man just finished playing this game, Johnny was the most badass character, even if he was a jerk sometimes, i love that guy, its amazing how you can connect with the characters in this game
Only the witcher and cyberpunk allow you to build this bond and loyalty with your friends through side missions. It's in Fact genius

This took me a lot of strength to write but I played this game right to the very end and I felt oddly connected to V and Johnny, more than anything. My father had a terminal illness and the day before he passed my last words to him were “never stop fighting”. I realised only a week after his passing that Cyberpunk’s ending was made manifest into my life.
Wow...thank you for sharing Chris, I hope his transition was peaceful and that you could find some comfort in this video. I think that's what's so special about Cyberpunk, everyone has different experiences playing the game but no less important than anyone else. Never stop fighting, his memory lives on through you.

Holy hell. This tells pretty much the whole relationship story between v and Johnny and it’s a great edit too. I love the never fade away song it’s fits perfectly with the whole scene. Plz keep making more, haven’t seen any of these ✌🏼
Thank you Dom! I love that song too, it is such a perfect fit to both V's and Johnny's situation. It hits even harder once you've completed the game and gained a bit more context to the story. There will be more of these for sure, the next one in the works will be for Jackie :)

I am absolutely going to release it in the future, I just not rather give any dates or expectations at the minute and end up disappointing people!
That last line from johnny, “goodbye V, and never stop fighting” it just hit so hard, you dont often get to say goodbye to those you care about in night city, if theres any comfort to be had, its this. V was one of the lucky ones, he got to say his goodbyes before all was said and done

I know how you feel! I think I heard somebody once describe Cyberpunk as "imperfect perfection", which I agree with. It has its issues, but even through those there is beauty in it - and that should be admired and enjoyed. It's one of my top games of all time even with its problems, and there is no shame in that!
Honestly I feel like if this game was redeveloped with this story, people could enjoy it more than what we have today. I honestly wish every gamer out there had a chance of playing this game with bearable optimisation, just to experience the storyline. It's just an experience which cannot be described unless you have played the game.

Really good work! Not only technically, but also the choice of scenes, dialogues and music fragments. I hope you keep doing those tributes to all the great Cyberpunk 2077 characters! And maybe one day you will make one to the whole game? Positive CP2077 content is what many of us need.
Wow, thank you so much for the compliments, it means a lot to me :) Yep, that's the plan - at least for the major characters since those have the most content through the game. Currently working on Jackie then after will be Judy and then Kerry. And yeah, eventually I'd like to do a cinematic edit for the story as a whole though that one is probably a while out yet. That's the goal, trying to spread positive vibes that we can all relate to! Thanks again for your support

V saying promise me you won’t forget me is heart breaking
that part when V is leaving with Alt and Johnny doesn't want to let him/her go, like holding her hand to his chest... that really hit a hard chord with me on my playthrough
he wanted to do something right for her, to save her after she was dealt such a rough hand but then she's like "it's okay" and leaves
I noted after she sacrificed herself Johnny stopped drinking and smoking (I think he stopped drinking anyway) as if he's doing everything he can to keep her body in good form
anyway I'm rambling

Thank you for the great comment and kind words! I agree with you, Johnny really changes if you let him keep the body - it hits him all at once how much V has sacrificed until that point and it puts all of his own actions and views into perspective. When he says "I'm just scared for you, V." that hit pretty damn hard if I say so myself. Great character!
That might be my favorite ending. I even like it better than the Aldecaldos ending.
It's bittersweet but it's the only real ending for me because it shows the full extent of Johnny/V's friendship and the effect they've had on each other. Johnny realises what V is giving up and doesn't want her to go, V realises that throwing everyone she cares about away to pursue glory like she was at the start of the game isn't what really matters. They both move on to their next adventure broken and forever changed, but free of Night City. Compare this to the Afterlife ending where V seemingly wins it all, becomes Queen of the Afterlife with everything she and Jackie ever wanted but it rings hollow; neither she nor Johnny find peace and move on, he returned to Cyberspace without ever really putting his past behind him and she's alone in Night City with the next heist being the only thing she really cares about.

Fear the reaper+giving body to Johnny with 70% like in the Johnny categorie should be the canon ending.

i adored Johnny by the end of the game and his relationship with V, this is a really good tribute to Johnny and his journey, i really hope we have the option of saving Johnny in some way in a future dlc..i doubt it will happen but i can hope damn it lol
Thank you! Me too, Johnny has a very fitting character arc if you invest into his side missions and learn more about his past. Makes any of the endings even that more bittersweet!

I like Johnny Silverhand. By doing gigs, hunting Cyber Psychos and Side Quests; I got along with him quite well.
im still kinda baffled that johnny didnt try to fight it, im thankfull and happy that i was truly able to trust him and that he also held is word but at the same time i get V´s sadness about johnny accepting it after all we did, it realy made me wish we couldve just stayed like that...

I replayed the ending multiple times, I could never choose the ending where V lives for a few months and Johnny gets send back to some digital universe. Better one legend dead than two

See I never and WILL NEVER regret going at this game day one, but I can’t lie that I wish I can get a fresh start playing this full package version of the game.
While CDPR definitely overestimated their ability on this one, there is a lot of genuinely good stuff in here, the parts where it’s finished/polished is some god damn unforgettable moments, just sad that the whole game isn’t all like this.
Well everyone deserves a second chance, and CDPR has a chance to keep this torch burning brighter than ever before, to start series of games in the world of Cyberpunk.

It’s cool how this was the way I went and my friendship was like this was well aha even tho theirs different ways but I liked the buddy buddy one. During my life when I played the game a lot of happening so it was an escape and it definitely is a good game helped me a lot
