Hi what speaker is the original or the source?
thank you very much for this comparison, it's exactly what I was waiting for
Keep in mind that a down slope on the in-room measurement is wanted rather than a flat neutral line. Anything flat on the in-room response will sound overly bright. In this case, the Edifier does a better job, especially in those crucial areas from 1khz - 7khz.
the edifer mr4 has the cleanest and most defined audio. I was in doubt which of the 2 to get, and through this comparison I'm going to edifer mr4.
Considering that all can be corrected with some equalization,if MR4 has no hiss sound when idle is a better choice,is newer and with more features.I own CR4's...
I’m getting MR4!
Lol the sound balance is way more accurate on the mr4s wasn't expecting that. So they are a good option for mixing from what i see
Finally bought MR4 after watching your comparison. for the Price and looks MR4 in white is simply beautiful and yes it sound excellent.
These mr4s are crazy accurate 😳
They seem very precise to the original track through my earbuds, they add no character whatsoever and they don't quite deliver the bass. The CR4s OTOH give the tone a little warmth and resonance and hit a little deeper that the MR4s. MR4s would be great for mixing music but the mackies nicer for listening on.
can you please make a video comparing desk stands like the isoacoustics stands and the fluid audio stands ?? i heard there should be a big difference thats worth testing
Focal Alpha Evo 80s vs Tannoy Gold 8s please!
hello. please tell me. in 6 square meters, what to take 4 inches 5 or 6? I had a jbl 305 mkii - does it make sense to take a yamaha msp 3 instead? or is it better to have a behringer 2030a? or is there nothing better than jbl 305 in this range?
Just bought the MR4's and going by the charts here I doubt I would like the Mackie's as the mr4's are already on the fatiguing side.....Which is why Im here still looking as I want something a little more powerful for tv room use, the mr4's are good for the money but when you have heard truly transparent speakers its hard to settle for less.
were they at max volume?
The only Mackie in that range that are a great deal are the CR8.
waiting on the presonus e4.5 vs mr 4
il loooove my eris 4.5 but often my mix sound perfect on my eris and too close on other systems. For the rest, they have so much emotions in the sound....
I don't know... in my Presonus Eris e4.5 everything sounds great ja 😝 ✨🔊✨❤🙌🙌🙌
i have eris too ..... but maybe this mr4 is more flat ? ......
MR4 has a built in DSP. It makes the drivers sounding better by compensating non linear parts of the curve. Obviously, MR4 sounds better than a non DSP corrected speaker. Its not about the price, its about technology.
that adds latency if you use these for tracking with a synth or guitar plugin which is something many people will do.
Then you don't know if the mackie do the same as well. Sony has been doing it since the 90s. Anything with a Bluetooth or optical in has a dac and chip insode by default.
Is there any source for the claim that these have a DSP? And also how much latency it adds?
@@emromw try to find a forum that opened it.
@DSAUDIOreview cual elijes tu
Would you please make a video comparing Kali lp6 and krk rokit 7 cuz I'm very much confused between them.....hope you understand 🔥
I love my Mackies 524, but prefer MR4 against this CR-X.
hello, i tried the mr524 ..... looks cool and sounds good. But always my mixes in my car sound horrible lol. You think the CR4X are better ?
for good monitors under 200 ..... wich one ?
MR4 is a winners 🏆🏆🏆!!
EDIFIER have more clarity on mid and high frequency. on my opinion
I bought MR4 57.5$. Is this good buying enough?
Please Mackies cr8-xbt 😢
for me Mackie is better. But if you like add clear highs in your mixes, maybe better go with the MR4. Avoid you to add too much highs if you were mixing with the MAckie !
In terms of sound resolution scores, MACKIE has a slight edge.
However, Edifier provides almost similar level of sound at a price four times cheaper than MACKIE.
where are you seeing 4x the price, they're priced pretty similarly
@@zhgfng I just saw for the first time that Edifier sells for about $130 on Amazon. Where I live, a company called Britz imports Edifier from other countries for about $50. But MACKIE sells for about $195 where I live. This is probably because my area uses 220 volt outlets.
I close my eyes and I keep telling myself they are not that green. But deep inside I know the truth. Still pretty green.
Mackie CR4-X sounds too recessed.
Mr4 is bit better in highs n vocals
MR4 has more details and clarity.
yes but too much highs compared to the original track. Edit : not so... finally...
@@dawoud8013 how would you know what's the accurate sound?
@@R0CKAFELLA comparing with the original track @2:49. But finally the highs seems to be ok, lack a bit of mid-high may be. But finally, it depend on how you mix in the real life. If you tend to add to much high because you love clear sound, buy monitors with clear and crisp highs. it will avoid you some mistakes in your mixes when you add to much high because it's your way of mixing while your actual monitors lake a bit of highs ^^
Mackie is a winner 🏆.
Tested in Audiotechnika m50x.
Please get e4.5の
why is it better than mr4 please ?
I prefer the MR4, but both sound like toys.
What does that even mean
@@Tephnos It means they sound like cheap speakers. You remember the 90's? When the market was flooded by Chinese knock-offs? These 2 sound exactly like those. At least, if you get cheap sound, pay cheap as well, like for Edifier 1280. You can't fault those for that price.
@@ares23dc Sounds like a huge exaggeration tbh. The MR4s (at least here) are only 10-20 bucks more than the 1280's and measure better as well on ASR (in music mode). Not perfect, but hard to fault for the price especially with how well they accept EQ.
@@Tephnos for the price, eris 4.5 are more flat ?
@@ChrisBessy I do not know how the Eris 4.5 measures. I just know the Eris 3.5 measures like total shit.
mackie win~
Original Is better
😁
What speaker is the original?
@@folksp6532 no speaker ...it's a sound source file.
@@sumit55z oh.. hey man what would you recommend speakers for pc. With strong base and also durable.. tnx
@@folksp6532go for logitech Z series speakers. Like Z623 model
KEF LS50s are better than these two
yeah but for which price? 🤡
