    Detailed and logical narration based on substance.
    INS Rajput was not in war mode and as per book by Adm Nanda, it is customary safe practice to fire drop charges while exiting the harbour. Damage to PNS Ghazi seems a mystery till date, as local fishermen told IN about the floating wreckage.

    back in the 1960s - 1970s India's unwillingness to ally with the U.S. due to Pakistan & the U.S. thinking India to be it's enemy's (Russia) accomplice in Asia only made matters worse for both sides . . . since at the time Russia had become India's strong ally, especially in the growing defense sector . . . India & Russia can only be described as an unshakable bond between two nations that still exists, in all it's much deserved glory to this date . . . enter the era of Cold War . . . Russia being a super power was a direct threat to the U.S. & western ideologies . . . underestimating India & it's capabilities was another mistake, that the U.S. made which they realized much later . . . U.S. has a bad habit of underestimating it's foes & ends up paying a heavy price in the process . . . look what they did with Vietnam & more recent, Afghanistan . . . it's as if U.S. has become complacent to losing billions of American tax payers money, without even giving it a second thought . . . not to mention defeat at the very end after losing billions & billions . . . facing defeat every single time in every single conflict that the U.S. manifested beyond it's borders . . . DEFCON 2 means nothing if a country isn't facing a direct threat to it's sovereignty & prosperity of it's immediate citizens . . .

    Sorry, I am generally a fan of your content but this time, I had to dislike it. The first and foremost reason is that of showing POK, Sikkim, and Aksin Chin in a color different from the rest of India. India is one and all those areas are integral parts of our nation.
    Second, PNS Ghazi was sunk by INS Rajput. Please don't take the credit away by saying that Ghazi sank due to some sort of malfunction. Our soldiers, sailors, and airmen are the bravest and can stand up to any adversary irrespective of the resources available.

    • @IndianMilitaryHistory
      @IndianMilitaryHistory  Рік тому +2

      Appreciate your comment. This video is based upon the analysis summarized by Maj Gen Ian Cardozo in his book
      'Sinking of the Khukri'. In it he writes that the assessment of the majority of the divers that analyzed the wreck of Ghazi, was that this perhaps happened due to Hydrogen build up. I haven't added any of my own color or opinion to this.
      A major reason for this channel is to bring out perspectives of actual Indian soldiers and dispell the notions / narratives given to us by Bollywood.
      Unfortunate you disliked the video, because that affects the algorithms. I hope you'll continue to support my effort in documenting our military history.
      Regards,
      Vikram.

      We are here to know the true and realistic story of war. We want to know the shortcomings and as well as achievements of Indian army and Pakistan army of that time. No masala added

      As I said, I am a fan of your content and will keep on watching it. I still feel there was no reason to show parts of India in a different color. Also, I appreciate your reference to the book but there are other references as well (not Bollywood) that suggest otherwise. Happy to disagree but still a request to show India as one.

      @@gaganangrish Hi Gagandeep. Yes you're right. After you brought up this point, it made me think about how I can show a wider perspective on this. So I am thinking of doing an addendum for this video that gives us more information on the theories on Ghazi and also mention the role of Rajput in this in more details. What are your thoughts on this idea? Do let me know.
      As always, I appreciate your feedback on these videos as this is what makes the content better. Regards,
      Vikram.
