👉Dimash's deep and gentle voice... I melt away. What a wonderful song, wonderfully sung by Dimash. Did you hold your breath? 🤣 The final run was 23 seconds with one breath. 👏👏👏
The glottal - stops is a throat singing technique called "bleating" used by the indigenous peoples of the Far East - another example: Diana Ankudinova - ua-cam.com/video/EmMxOv5MtyE/v-deo.html
Dimash sings here as a guest on the New Wave 2018 (international competition). Igor Krutoy, the man in the white shirt at the end, a famous Russian composer, music titan and initiator of the New Wave had invited him. Now, both are a "Dreamteam" and work together from time to time. They are friends, have a father-son-relationship.
... and of course Dimash donates the many flowers to hospitals and retirement homes.
The band that Dimash accompanies at this performance called A’Studio, who composed and performed “Sinful Passion” in 1998. The band is also from Kazakhstan (Dimash's homeland) and this Dimash performance has revived the song.
    Original: A'STUDIO - Грешная страсть - ua-cam.com/video/CN9fHwhna_M/v-deo.html

Yes each song gives you that goosebump feeling...and the jaw drop. He's also an inspirational figure they could probably great peace in this world if people bother to listen to his message and not just his voice. He could win BEST HUMAN, if there was one. He doesn't even have to be 100% human. He just has to look like one.

Hello and thank you for the reaction. Since you obviously have a crush on Dimash (as we all 🤩🤩🤩), you should have watched the video untill the end to get a glimpse of his personality. There are often some small things after the song itself that could interest you... I understand that the close captions are distracting if you're not used to them, but I still recommend to have them on. Nearly all songs Dimash chooses to sing have both beautiful and meaningful lyrics. His performances are not just vocal acrobatics, but a means to convey a message, an emotion, a story. It would be a pity if you missed that. Your choise, of course. For some of his songs, also the backstory is important (Daybreak, Samaltau...). The Dears (Dimash calls his fans Dears, since they are so precious to him) are good guides, if you let them. 🧑‍🏫👨‍🏫👩‍🏫 ⬆↗➡↘⬇↙⬅↖ Love from Finland. 🌹🌹🌹

I love your reactions👍. Isn't he awesome? Thanks for discovering Dimash. If you like these tribal sounds, then I recommend you to react to his cover of Hello by Lionel Richie. If you know the song, you're probably wondering "What does she mean?😳" But believe me, it all makes beautiful sense. You will definitely like it🥰.
I also recommend Adagio from the Singer Competition. A really beautiful song. A song that Lara Fabian has already sung and also written the lyrics for. Dimash has always been a great admirer of Lara. But Dimash takes this song to another level. Every time I feel like I forget to breathe and then burst into tears. The emotions that Dimash sends out with this performance really hit me physically🤯. In this performance you can see that I’m not the only one. But please try not to stop the video too often. Especially in the end of the song. Otherwise you might lose the flow.
I love his outfit with his blue suit and white shoes in this performance. If you watch several videos of him, you will see that he often falls on his knees during many of his performances. So a Dear gave him knee pads as a gift. I don’t think he wore them on stage though. Although he has certainly gotten one or two bruises😂

Dimash Kudabergen, living legend, genius singer, one in a million, no, one in a billion. With 23 years of classical training, he has become a unique vocalist. He has an amazing musical education, all the technical details he sings and uses, he knows how it works. He is musical perfection. There is no technical detail that he doesn't have, no one has ever had such talent and skills, he can be bass, baritone, tenor, counter tenor, alto, mezzo soprano, soprano and so on, he sings in 15 languages, he has the biggest range . He sings many genres, opera, pop, rap and so on. In addition to the talent that God gave, the work that he did is amazing. From the age of 5, he dedicated his life to music, did everything to develop it (swimming in the pool, breathing control, range, healthy lifestyle)He is an amazingly humble, warm simple man, apart from his musical excellence, as a person he is an amazing person. His songs are exceptionally complex both technically and emotionally, he is able to properly develop emotion in music both vocally and artistry.Dimash has fans (called dears) from 150 countries around the world. I'd say his fans are special because we don't love Dimash because he has good looks (well, he's very attractive and cute) or because his performances are fun (unlike other pretend singers who are more performers than singers and vocalists). We love him because of the talent he has, because of the work he has done almost all his life. He deserves everything. There is no other singer who can be compared to him, he is at the apogee of development. He plays 7 instruments, loves the culture of his country and wants to introduce it to the world. As I already wrote, he is very educated, he is still studying. he has 2 degrees in classical and contemporary, and on the way to a doctorate in musicology.I will say here that, like in other professions, education in music is very important, you can sing notes well, but you don't understand in details how it happens, Dimash is at a high level from this point of view, he knows exactly what, how and in what way he does it.Dimash has an incredible range that no one has ever had, full range 7.7 octaves, from G0 to D8. ( D8 whistle note , off the piano) Dimash sang the highest note. Before anyone jumps out at me and tells me there are a few people who hit a higher note, I'll tell you that they just hit those notes without control, and Dimash sang from C#8 to D8 with vibrato for 5 seconds. I hope you won't have a hard time seeing the difference.I will add here that Dimash did this after a 2-hour concert, in front of 150,000 people. He Has very good details, staccato, distinctive vibrato, rifs, melizens, vocal acrobatic, glissando, crescendo, dominoendo, long notes, breath control, correct tesitura, Able to develop emotion properly, fit roles well . Uses professional technique, Italian Bell Canto technique. In his song it feels like he is a professional even without high notes.Unfortunately, as always, geniuses are appreciated late, this guy deserves much, much more recognition, I hope the time will come and he will be properly appreciated. I also want to mention that Dimash is like a drug. I have been listening to him for the third year, I can't imagine a day without listening to him, he is the best, not because he sings high notes and has a great range, but because he enters the soul with his song and you feel something you have never felt before. .But if we consider it from a technical point of view, in this case too
Dimash is the best. As vocal teachers and professionals say, his singing is technical perfection. They also say that Dimash is the best vocalist, Before someone tells me that no professional has said this and gets on my nerves (I've read such comments), I'll leave the link here as proof. ua-cam.com/video/XWXRttL9Hxo/v-deo.html . Dimash's parents are singers, his mother is a soprano, his father is a singer and also a producer, as far as I know, Dimash's grandparents are singers, so from a musical point of view, Dimash has good genetics, he has a natural innate talent, which he developed after 23 years of work, and we have a unique singer in front of us. I could probably write a lot more, but I'll stop now, I want more people to know about him, believe me, you won't regret it. I hope I conveyed what I wanted to say correctly. I will leave a video here as a bonus where Dimash sings one of the most difficult song (even for female "queen of the night") just to warm up and have fun, Dimash sings F6 like it's nothing, plus added vibrato ua-cam.com/video/2cwPBxrQxgU/v-deo.html - ua-cam.com/video/NYiOR0nKXTI/v-deo.html

Hello, I’m from Brazil! For those who like information about Dimas' songs: The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental technique. The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio (Russian-based Kazakhstani pop music group, "Alma-Ata Studio", city of Almaty). The dead singer (to whom Dimash was a fan) left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poet Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebayev, who is the keyboardist with long hair, which we see in the video accompanying Dimash.

From the time he began to speak, he was raised to be as fluent in Russian as his mother tongue of Kazak.
The USSR gave 16 republics their freedom in 1991 and Dimash was born in 1994, so Kazakhstan had just been given their freedom when he was learning to speak, and his parents knew it was necessary for him to be fluent in both languages.
It has served him well, as Maestro Igor Krutoy whom he works closely with is from Russian/Ukranian and he speaks Russian as one of his at least three languages he speaks. They communicate in Russian mostly but Dimash is getting better with his English.

This performance (yes it was Russian) is from 2018 in Sochi. "SOS" was from The Singer in 2017. The 2nd song from The Singer was "Opera 2" (I believe). He had many performances on The Singer (maybe 14?) before that competition ended. So, this and SOS were over a year apart and different venues. Fast forward to 2021, he performed "Stranger" at the New Wave competition, which you should check out next (it's in English) then "Ave Maria" (no language, it's a vocalise) 2021 from the same venue. After that, you should watch "Ikanaide" 2021 (sang in near perfect Japanese) which he performed for the 20th Tokyo Jazz Festival. There are so many mind blowing performances of his, namely "Olimpico" which you can find on Igor Krutoy's(composer) UA-cam channel, which Dimash sings in Italian this link is the best performance of the song ua-cam.com/video/dkPS6t84qg4/v-deo.html.
