I love Roxanne as a character, she’s very underrated

She’s my all time favorite Disney character, hence my UA-cam icon.
I wish they would've honestly done a whole sequel series with Roxanne, Max kinda having to explain the whole powerline situation, a potentional break-up, a make up, etc, along with Max being Max but also real things like him tangling how he used to hang with his buddy all the time but now has a girlfriend and whatnot, and the college "sequel" should've at least had her visiting or a sequence with them hanging out over a weekend or something. The original series had a lot of interesting and fun situations that both felt real but also felt like a really good, very fun disney cartoon. It's a shame she got sidelined for basically no logical reason to this day.

Mona, which was shown on "Twice upon a Christmas".. where Max is age 23. Is not. therefore at the end of the episode of Mickey s house of mouse. it's the big reveal they continue their relationship.. to whenever, otherwise Disney makes something else in the future of those 2

Funny thing is, Max felt his laugh made him a creep and Roxanne would consider that a turn off. But then Roxanne said "I love your laugh!" my heart melted! My favorite Disney couple.

I love the fact that Goofy isn't like the other dads from most movies. Instead of over reacting on who this girl is and such and being over protective towards his child, he supports his son to express his feelings to his love interest. So lovely!!! Thank you once again Disney!!! ^^

Yea watching them as a kid and then as an adult is so different like Ariel from the little mermaid she was in love with Eric but she barley knew him. And Eric barely knew her and in the movie he said he was just going to marry her right off the bat like really. Disney shows people what love really is but a lot of people don't understand the message that's what makes disney great.

I give a kudos to Goofy for doing his job as a father and parent. He has worked extra hard not only to provide for Max, but, to spend time with him as well as giving him fatherly guidance.
And unless you see their first date on the house of mouse episode, Roxanne is suddenly erased.
Seriously who did that. Gorgeous character, great charisma and sweet as a um...I'll just say person.
The whole "you don't marry the first girl you go out with" defense for disney here is poor when
you talk about the kid who had eyes for no other. She also sees his imperfections as things to
find ranging from cute to adorable, while he obviously was embarassed of minimally "the laugh."
Like how was this not a perfect match? She's like "the perfect girl" of all teen films, but with a much more laid back not narcissistic personality at all.
I know this isn't a real reason, but the reason the "sequel" didn't feel like a sequel was because it wasn't really; it was basically a remake of Back to School. And thinking solely on that objective, putting characters like Roxanne in it DOES NOT matter. You want to blame someone for her disappearance, blame Disney, as well as whoever they hired to write it.
I agree. She was perfect for him. He confessed he lied to her and she forgave him because she understood he only did it cause he liked her. She's very sweet and understanding and sees max for who he is. Max got bonus points in roxanne's eyes when he actually went to her house and explained everything that takes guts
I actually like Roxanne, but "the perfect girl" of teen films are very often portrayed just like Roxanne.
I mean, her portrayal is pretty cliche, especially to all the Disney stuff ever written.

Meeting Jason Marsdes has definitely been one of the greatest and most memorable “meet & greet” moments I’ve had in my life so far. I’ve met several Disney voice actors and meeting him has just been the greatest! He did Max’s voice and laugh for me, he gave me soooooo many hugs, and he actually liked how spirited and shaken up I was just to be standing next to him and hear him do Max’s voice.
I love how max laughs like goofy. Like wow
Goofy is the true OG. He’s been through some tough crap, but keeps ahyuck-ing away and finding time for his son.
Is so nice to finally see this movie get the HD treatment. One of the last couple films to get a Blu-Ray release in Disney’s film library.
Such a lovely movie. One of the best of the nineties and it gets no acknowledgement.
Man, this movie is something else. The story, the characters, the voices, the music, everything is perfect.
Finally. After *25 LONG YEARS* of waiting, there exists the widescreen blu ray we *ALL* need.

I love the chemistry between them! It's honestly kind of rare in Disney movies nowadays for a relationship like this to feel so genuine and almost realistic. The writing especially helps a lot in selling that realism.

Believe it or not, An Extremely Goofy Movie was released in Digital HD before it was released on Blu-Ray

Everyone calls him Goofy because he acts Goofy but that’s probably because he had. Wife, who died during child birth or something. Goofy was probably some delta ops guy and as soon as he had the child he put that life behind him.

Now I see this movie as an analogy of life, Max and Roxxane were their first love for each other young and strong love but when Max goes to College in the 2nd movie there is no Roxanne with him anymore they enjoy their time together but time keep on going forward, just like in real life your first love is not with u anymore but nobody can take away what you lived with that special person, only memories left to tell and keep on moving on
That is pretty cute how Roxanne admitted that she liked Max the way he is and accepted his goofy laugh. I also liked how when Max said he couldn't do tonight, Roxanne showed an expression like: "You better be telling me the truth this time" And then accepted the date for tomorrow instead.
