Hi Carrie, yes, I went on that bridge last September on my tour of the north. I was holding on for dear life as well, but managed to get a selfie taken. I had my photo alongside the Baltit Fort guard as well. Pakistan is amazing.
It surprised me how scared I felt.. I think it’s because there is a huge gap under the wire.. so it feels so open and exposed.. and as for Mr Salahuddin, he is a legend isn’t he!
@@carriepatsalis Mr Salahuddin is a lovely guy. What a moustache! The mountains to the left of the bridge are awesome so a selfie is absolutely necessary, despite the risk. Attabad Lake is lovely as well and has a sad recent history to go with it.
good to hear and thanks for coming back you are one of my best vloggers in the world you have seen Pakistan wants to show the world the real Pakistan not the one on Media show
This is something different kind of vlogging...i haven't seen such beautiful videos of of Pakistan before... Thank you for showing us these beautiful places.... Literally stunning...I am watching one after another... addicted...
I feel your struggle . It looks absolutely terrifying. I have watched videos of this bridge where locals are walking normally not even holding onto bridge . Don’t know how they do it. Even children just don’t allow my along😰 The scenery really is breathtaking, otherworldly! Thank you for these images!
It feels so open because it’s just a tiny wire that runs along so when you look out you don’t really see the support.. it surprised me how much fear I felt! 😆
Carrie, I like you more and more every passing day when you show only the good side of Pakistan...keep showing what you are showing and we will like you more and more ❤❤❤
The narrations are spot on, you are an embodiment of grace humor and knowledge , I thoroughly enjoy your videos sitting in Maldives . Pakistan is indeed SPECTACULR !
Amazing! If I’m not mistaken, this version of the video skipped the part where Razi walked you all the way up to the bridge, which made you a little grumpy at him initially, which I found hella funny. Your purchase of the dried fruits wasn’t in the earlier version (I’m not entirely sure though). By the way, did you know that Harry also went there, crossed the bridge, and crashed his drone while flying it?
Ha! That was the bridge crossing in Chitral! I didn’t know Harry crashed his drone! 😂.. I need to give him some lessons..! Knowing him I doubt he read the instructions before trying to fly 😆
Thanks Carrie 🙂 What would be worse than crossing that bridge is if you needed a bathroom break halfway lol! 🥴 Did you make it to the other side? Great to see you meet such a distinguished gentleman as Mr Salahuddin & also showcasing the diversity & little known landscapes of "place of the pure"! Have a great weekend my dear 🤗
I remember how you promoted Bangladesh, I have a playlist of 200 Bengali Pop Rock songs with great artists from West Bengal and Bangladesh. Bro you 've gone too sentimental and negative. Do not compare a 3rdworld developing country with a developed nation. Not all is bad in Pakistan. I have scaled these mountains. Yes poverty is there but things have improved many times since I last visited these valleys in 2001@@ProudMurtad
If they had an iota of shame, they would have learnt their lessons from 1971. But instead, they are going an extra mile to prove their loyalty to their white skinned foreign masters@@ProudMurtad
I feel you. When i was on the bridge, there was a higher and bustling water, and looking down made me feel dizzy and the legs suddenly felt heavier. And then i saw a 10-12 year old local kid running past me like its nothing. 😂
I don’t think I think sometimes 😂🤣😂.. actually I surprised myself.. I felt genuinely uncomfortable.. normally I can override fear but I struggled that day and had to have a proper quiet chat with myself to pull myself together 😆
it is gilgit baltistan which is illegally occupied land by Pakistan belonging to India. On 26 October 1947 Pakistan invaded gilgit baltistan and forcefully annexed it to Pakistan.
Stfu. This land was merged into Pakistan by the tribal chief of Gilgit . He wanted to get aligned with Pakistan. He had the choice to align with india or china but he chosed Pakistan. Gilgit belongs to the islamic Republic of Pakistan!
