Afghanistan has so much history & culture it’s lovely you are showing some to the world . The conservative nature of the land is due to centuries of invasions , which often included abducting & abuse of local women by foreign invaders. Even Alexander the Great couldn’t defeat the local resistance so married a local Afghan girl . If Afghanistan is left alone it will become one of the most successful nations .

I am your sister from Yemen, and by Allah I only spoke out of hunger and distress. My mother, my brothers, and I lessons and tears. We are in a situation that only God knows about. God is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs for those who brought us to this situation. By Allah Almighty, I did not write this appeal out of distress and distress. Poverty, O world, they have felt it So, I hope for you. By Allah Almighty, Lord of the Great Throne, he ate what I had in the house. By Allah, my brothers, he is my brothers by sitting in the house. Who has no food? By God, we are in a very difficult situation. We have 6 people entering the house, and my father has died, and there is no one who can depend on us and who lives in it.We live in a rented house because we cannot pay the rent we owe. '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' ''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' ''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' ''''''''''''' My brother, my first words are: I swear to God that I will not lie to you or deceive you. I am a Yemeni girl displaced from the war. My family and I live in a rented house in Al-Shahrab 20,000 Yemenis among us, and now we owe 60,000 for 3 months. The owner of the house is one of the people who does not have mercy, by God, my brother. He comes every day, insulting us, talking about us, and moving from the house to the street because we were unable to pay him the rent. The neighbors saw us crying and came back. They came back to talk to the neighbors and we were given the weekend. So we made him swear by God. He will take us out into the street. Have mercy on him and us. Our country is due to this war and we do not find food for our day, and my brothers and I live in a difficult life. Our father died, may God have mercy on him, and we have no one in this world who was with us in these harsh circumstances. My younger brothers went out into the street and saw...The neighbors eat and stand at their door in order to give them bread even if they break it. By God, to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, they closed the door and expelled them and came back crying. They are dying of hunger. No one has mercy on them and a holiday is returned. I have made a living, and now if one of us helps us with a kilo of flour, I swear to God, I am dying of hunger. My brother, I am an alien to God. Then, I ask you to help me for the sake of God. I ask you, by God, to love goodness and to help me, even if you can, by messaging me on WhatsApp.On this number 00967716649494 and ask for the name of my card and send it and do not be late and may God reward you with all the best, my brothers Sagar, see how they are and help us and save us before they throw us out in the street, you will be lost or we will die of hunger. My family and I ask you, by God, if you are able to help us, do not be late and may God reward you well..`/--~«««~-♡~♡~♡~~•~•~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡♡♡~~: ~:~¡~¡~¡~;I.i.i.i.i.i. i.I.|-.........،،،،،،،،،،،،.......;/_√^•|^|^°||°|^^•😢😢😢•_•___•^||^

In Afghan culture, the concept of segregating men and women is not merely rooted in the belief that men are unable to control themselves, necessitating women's protection or separate spaces for families. Instead, a fundamental value placed on privacy lies at the heart of this practice. Privacy is highly esteemed, offering families the opportunity to enjoy their meals without the intrusion of others. This cultural emphasis underscores the importance of safeguarding the honor and reputation of the family above all else.
Central to Afghan societal norms is the notion that maintaining familial respectability requires strict boundaries between genders. These boundaries serve as a means to preserve the integrity of the community and uphold traditional values. By limiting interactions between men and women, Afghan communities aim to reinforce social cohesion and stability. These practices are deeply ingrained in Afghan social fabric, playing a crucial role in shaping community dynamics and maintaining a sense of collective identity.
Furthermore, the practice of maintaining distinct roles and behaviors for men and women in Afghan culture is not merely a matter of segregation but a reflection of broader cultural values. These values emphasize the importance of upholding familial honor and ensuring that interactions within the community adhere to established norms. By adhering to these principles, Afghan communities strive to foster a cohesive social environment where respect and integrity are paramount, ensuring the continuity of their cultural heritage for generations to come.

I understand that view isn’t shared by all afghans though. It’s generally for one group within Afghanistan having now been and spoken to many people. It needs to be about choice and respect for multi-indigenous groups. Imagine if in the uk we only enforced one rule based on one group 🫣

    • @AhmadAli-ez8db
      @AhmadAli-ez8db 5 днів тому

@@carriepatsalis -There is a common misunderstanding that Afghans believe men cannot control themselves, and therefore they segregate or restrict their women.
Segregation is viewed as a way to create a comfortable social environment where both men and women can freely interact without concerns about modesty or unwanted advances. For example, a woman breastfeeding her child may feel more at ease in a setting where she is surrounded only by other women, eliminating any potential discomfort of being stared at by men. This separation can foster a supportive atmosphere where women feel respected and understood in their maternal roles, without the distraction or unease that integrated spaces might bring. In addition, segregation is seen as a way to honor and respect women, protecting them from potential harm or uncomfortable situations that could arise in mixed-gender environments.
Historical practices and societal norms have also contributed to the adoption of gender-segregated spaces in various aspects of life, including social gatherings. These norms often stem from cultural beliefs regarding propriety and social order, where maintaining distinct spaces for men and women is seen as preserving traditions and upholding values of modesty and respect. In many cultures, such segregation is deeply ingrained and serves to delineate roles and behaviors deemed appropriate for each gender within specific social contexts. This historical context underscores the complexity of segregation, reflecting a blend of practical considerations and cultural significance that continues to influence contemporary social dynamics.

@@AhmadAli-ez8db You explained it so eloquently bro. I commend and applaud the level of your intelligence. I don't think her mind would be able to grasp the idea you are trying to explain. Most westerners see things in a very simplistic manner. They are often so insensitive and think of their cultural values to be superior.
While I loath the current regime in Afghanistan who are preventing women from getting education and are putting other restrictions on them, I can fully understand that separate spaces for families is not because men cannot control themselves. Even suggesting that idea is so offensive and full of prejudice. She is surrounded by men; so doesn't she ponder for a moment and ask herself why aren't those men losing control on seeing her and talking to her.
Separate spaces for family is all about privacy.

A new subscriber here. Your videos are interesting.
As a woman who is part Afghani, but has never visited Afghanistan solo, I am planning a trip very soon, as I'm totally intrigued & captivated by this country.
I have long loved Afghanistan & my love goes way back, even prior to you tube, etc;. I visited with my parents many moons ago & had great experiences. I'm yearning to get back there & to meet with all of my peoples/genetic relatives.
Like many I've spoken to have said, I've always found the local men & women to be so very welcoming, kind & hospitable & to be so very beautiful looking (their faces, hair & eyes).
I think they look so attractive from head to toe in their traditional attire, especially when the many pretty Afghan faces, are framed with colourful or black head scarves/dress.
The many ethnic groups from North, South, East & West are all so interesting & so physically beautiful in their own ways.
Their hearts are warm & their deeds are pure gold.
Here's sending my love & best wishes to the amazing, strong, resilient & very beautiful peoples of AFGHANISTAN.❤🙏

There is no doubt that the people of Afghanistan are hospitable, they consider anyone who visits their country as their guest and they treat them very kindly and even many of them take foreign tourists to their homes and treat them like a guest. Dear, they welcome them, but I mean the overwhelming majority of the people of Afghanistan, and there may be a very small number of bad people in Afghanistan, just like anywhere in the world, who want to abuse foreigners or deceive them and take their money. They steal, this is a natural thing, but the story of the Taliban is different. They are really a violent, fanatical, ethnic, and criminal group, and the reason they behave well with foreign tourists is because they need to be recognized by the countries of the world. They try to behave well with foreign tourists in order to show a good and beautiful face of themselves to the world, but their behavior with the people of Afghanistan, especially the non-Pashtun ethnic groups of Afghanistan, and especially the Hazaras, is very bad and violent and discriminatory, and the people also because of the environment The repression and terror created by the Taliban cannot tell the truth to foreign tourists because they are afraid of the Taliban's punishment and revenge, and the Taliban have committed and continue to commit many crimes, oppression, and discrimination against the Hazara people, such as genocides. killings and usurping the areas and lands of their villages in different provinces and regions of Afghanistan, as well as destroying their houses on various pretexts, such as non-standard or usurped or state ownership of their lands, as well as destroying and destroying the crops and products of the Hazara people by The Pashtun nomads who, with the support of the Taliban, sent their large herds of goats, sheep and camels to the Hazara areas in order to graze and destroy the Hazaras, which is the result of their one-year hard work, under the pretext of grazing their flocks in the mountains and plains, as well as the coercion of the Taliban. A lot of money by Taliban continues from Hazaras under different pretexts, as well as harassing Hazaras under the pretext of having or hiding weapons and taking money and extorting money from them under the same pretext. are doing that it is impossible to really say or write all those atrocities, crimes and discriminations in this ambush and in this short text, and also these oppressions against the Tajik and Wazik ethnic groups continue by the Taliban, who themselves are (99) percent Pashtuns. The end with a smaller scale is milder and the oppression and discrimination against the Hazaras is more severe because they are not only ethnically but also religiously different from the Taliban and follow the Shiite religion.

Surprised to see modern facilities in this most conservative part of Afghanistan. The painting of man in turban is Ahmad Shah Durrani the founder of Afghanistan. As a Barakzai tribe, I am also a part of the grand Durrani confederation of tribe. See Durrani Empire. We started as the cavalry unit of Persian-Central Asia King Nadir Shah.
In the art gallery the man next to Ahmad Shah Baba is King Amanullah of Barakzai Dynasty he was one of my parents relative of sub-Barakzai clan called Muhammadzai the ruling clan of Barakzai tribe. That is all history lesson for now. 😊
