I've already watched this episode twice, and I must say it's the best one yet! It literally took my breath away so many times.😍 It’s a bit sad you couldn’t get closer to the Pak-China border, but your delightful chit-chat with that uncle made up for it-it was such a treat in itself! Your "Mai tou lut gayi" moment was both funny and sweet.🥰
Honestly, I wouldn’t have let you walk on that rainbow bridge; it looked so risky! But I couldn’t stop laughing at the uncle swinging on the other bridge. 😅 Your interaction with the locals about Yaks was heartwarming, especially when you petted Zulfi!😍 And I just adore your childlike curiosity when you peek out of the car window, marveling at the scenery-you’re truly an angel. 😍
Your hitchhiking journey like the locals was inspiring-so raw and in the moment! Even though it looked tough, it added so much charm to the experience. Your visit to the Passu Glacier was simply breathtaking, a treat on top of a treat! 🥰😍 And I’m so happy you checked off the adventure of the famous Hussaini Suspension Bridge-what a thrill!
Ataabad Lake left me speechless-it was beyond magical. That boat drop-off scene had me concerned, but thank God for that kind and sweet uncle who came to your rescue.😇 Your lovely conversation with the old couple collecting firewood was so touching, and that view of the Lady Finger Mountain from your hotel room-absolutely divine!💖
I can’t even express how much I love your voice, your overloaded cuteness, and your magical storytelling style. As someone with hardcore ADHD who usually can’t focus on anything for more than 30 seconds, you somehow keep me captivated in every single frame. It’s pure magic and soul healing therapy for me 🫶🫶🫶💖😍

@@peopleschoice1457 Wow wow wow! As usual such fantastic detailed feedback! This is why I always LOVE hearing from you. I always look forward to your message 😍
I really admire how creatively immaculate and descriptive you are with your breakdowns. It really is a skill. You should be a writer. Maybe you already are!
Thank you for watching not once but TWICE! Wow wow. And it’s interesting how you find this episode the best one so far. Because it’s not actually my favourite, I much prefer the Wakhi one! It’s interesting how we all resonate so differently with the same thing right?
I didn’t know that you had ADHD so the fact that you watched twice is such a huge compliment. Well it also depends which playback speed you’re watching in! Hahahaha. If you’ve sped it up then clearly I am not impressive enough 😂🙈hahaha.
I really appreciate your kind words and thank you so much for the support. Please pray that I can get episode 4 out before the month is over! It would be my DREAM to have released two episodes in the month of Jan! 😍😍😍

@asrahussainn You’re so humble and sweet, and it’s honestly one of the many reasons I admire you so much. 💖 It’s fascinating how we all connect to your episodes differently, but for me, every single one feels like a masterpiece a soul healing therapy! because of the magical way you bring stories to life😍🥰
And yes, watching it twice wasn’t even enough! I could keep rewatching it just to relive those beautiful moments you captured. Your voice, your kindness, your angel like cuteness and the way you immerse yourself in every experience are truly captivating. ❤️🫶
Oh, and no, I didn’t speed it up! I watched it frame by frame, Your energy and passion kept me completely hooked from start to finish. 🥰😍 You’re more than impressive,
you’re mesmerizing. Thank you for always brightening my day in ways you might not even realize. 💕
Your words just melted my heart! Knowing that my messages can bring even a fraction of the joy you bring to my life feels so special. 💖 I’ll definitely pray that you achieve your dream of releasing Episode 4 this month, it’s going to be amazing, just like you.
But please don’t stress yourself too much! Your passion and dedication already shine through so beautifully, and no matter what, your work always feels magical and soul healing. 🥰
P.S. I don't believe it that you said that 😍🙈 but if it's true it’s because they come straight from the heart! You deserve all the love and support in the world. 💕

Another magnificent episode. I watched it a couple of times already as well trying to remember the villages in your episodes. Your journeys take me back to my days doing geologic research in that area. Mostly learning and trying to finish the work. The beauty of that area, the simple life of Hunza people is what I remember the most. Little kids walking to school and back with their smiley faces. During my masters thesis, we stayed near a village called Chalt. I was saddened when I saw the videos of the landslide that created that lake in 2010. The original KKH section is under water now. It is nice to see that the tunnels are being built. These are much safer alternative to continue to cut the mountain. Asra: Thank you for posting this beautiful episode of your journey through Pakistan. Your unique way of exploring and experiencing exposes how people live in that climate. Simply Beautiful. Very powerful. Thank You again.

What a journey! It was so good to see my family. Not many people try living the life of Hunzais and I understand now why you call it home. It must have been a wonderful experience to go through days in Hunza and how locals spend time. That's the way to explore a region. You must've noticed that people in Hunza are much healthier and are famous for their longevity. Their daily ruitine is one of the reasons why this is possible.
I've crossed the Hussaini bridge once and it was an adventurous experience. When I went to the other side, I saw a path that went somewhere (maybe a small village). I really wanted to go for that hike but couldn't. I'll do it soon.

@@asrahussainn Hi Asra, good to have you back as always :) I just wrote a comment and included my number in it. Along with that I wrote a huge reply to your comment which got deleted. I googled and found out that it's against YT guidelines to share WhatsApp contact and comments get deleted. My reply on your last video was deleted as well as I had shared my Insta with you. And my hardwork of writing a reply was deleted as well :(
I found time to watch this video sooner as it was a priority and I'd taken a much needed break. The work is gonna pile up more for me now :D, as I'm on a self improvement journey focused on education, wealth, fitness, health, and happiness. Here are some values I'm working on in 2025 to improve and be better. You may not agree with some of them but they'll definitely be some food for thought:
      1:Embrace the pain!!!
      2:Focus on reality
      3:Channel your energy
4:Don't avoid your feelings, sit with them
      5:Invest in yourself
6:Become better for yourself and others around you
7:Be brave, patient, smart, and happy
8:Do what you need to do, to do what you want to do
I'm so excited for the next episode. I live in Gilgit and I don't know why but I still love to watch travel vlogs. The more detailed, the better for me. And you never disappoint so I'll definitely be waiting for it. I hope we may go for a hike to the village after Hussaini bridge. I'm always ready when I've to go out and connect with people and nature.
About the editing, I know what it feels like to do what you don't wanna do. You do an excellent job at editing though. I'm not sure if someone would be able to or willing to put the energy you put into your videos. I hope you find a way around this. Maybe training somebody could do the job.
Thank you for your new year wishes. Have a wonderful 2025 and win the world. Make the most out of your year and remember that the clock is ticking and doesn't stop. And don't forget to be happy and and savour the year.
Late but still, a happy belated birthday to you. I wish you happiness, success, and prosperity. Aur aap kutti nahi kar saktein kyun k jab aap se mulaqat hogi toh aapki gift pending hogi IA :D Aur aap ki treat bhi pending hogi :D Cheers Asra!

Finally, I'm here again to give my two cents after watching your journey at least two times. I used the word "Watching" here, but that doesn't even begin to describe the EXPERIENCE especially if you're watching on a big screen. Yes, it's a whole experience to watch you walking up and the valleys of Hunza, randomly meeting people, hitchhiking in unconventional vehicles, living and experiencing the life of locals as they do. This is an integral part of your vlogs and this is precisely the thing which makes your journey unique.
    There are 3 crucial aspects of your vlogs;
    1. Story telling
    2. Picturesque scenery
    3. Experiencing local life
As far as the story telling part goes, you definitely know the way to tell your story. In a way that gives us a lot of important information about these serene places in an interesting way while making it simple and easy to understand for everyone watching.
Secondly, the views are beyond a shred of doubt absolutely SPECTACULAR. Especially the way you've shown Altit and Baltit forts while telling their story, the camera angles made me realise how perfect their strategic placement is and how they must have played a great part in strengthening their defences and maintaining the control of silk road trade route for centuries.
That rainbow bridge was truly exhilarating and while I was wishing for you to go to the other side. But as you came back and dubbed it "the bloody death bridge" was hilarious. Hussaini bridge seemed much more dangerous and way way longer but you managed to cross it. After all it's "Hussaini" bridge, your cross to cross. 😂
Maybe that's why Hussaini bridge survived a name giving ceremony.
Passu cones view was something truly ethereal and Khunjerab Pass was also disappointing for us too.
Watching those lads travelling in the back of the car made me remember a somewhat similar experience in Karachi when we were going back home after visiting Mazaar e Quaid and it was late at night and there was only one taxi available and he was saying that put these kids in the back of the car. Thank God it didn't happen but it would have been quite an experience. 😂
Anyway, it's getting too long. I especially loved your interaction with locals and how they treated to at their homes. The hospitality of these people and the purity of their hearts is simply heartwarming. Your ability to intermingle with the people is definitely something to aspire to.
Thank You Asra for this surreal experience. I was especially glad to know that it was your 86th day so almost 9 months in Pakistan still remaining and many more amazing thrill induced exhilarating vlogs to look forward to. I hope the next one doesn't take too long.
Cheers for another successful vlog. 💯❤

Oh and yes, I forgot to mention the Autumn season of Hunza. I have a deep love for Autumn season. There's just something about it that speaks to me and affects my soul. Therefore, witnessing Autumn in Hunza is a long held dream of mine. Your decision to stay in Hunza for witnessing that marvel of nature was something that I really loved. I remember walking on those bridges further south when I was working there. I think it was near Raikot (Chilas area), that you could drive on. Driving on the suspension bridges is very scary. You are supposed to just crawl forward. Any faster and it disturbs the bridge and creates a wave of wooden planks ahead of you. I remember driving our department old Land Cruiser and I was scarred to death, my legs were shaking. Once crossed, the reminder of the day, on the other side of the valley, all I can think of I have to cross that bridge again (LOL). So when we got back, the wind picked up as I got to the middle of the bridge and it started to swing from side to side. OMG. I thought to myself, this is it Mr. I think I almost stalled the Land Cruiser. The local guide shouted at me to keep moving and do not stop. Afterwords, I pretended that it was fine, LOL.

my toxic trait is believing I could summit Lady Finger... I mean... how hard can it be? 🤷‍♂️
I'm sure we've all seen pictures of that bridge before, but the way you filmed it made it feel like we were the ones wobbling across - one loose plank away from an unexpected swim 😅 it's funny how a video can give you such an experience 😅
Khunjerab Pass is one of those places that really messes with your sense of geography. Like, you never realise just how close China and Pakistan actually are - because the cultures seem like they couldn't be more different, but somehow it works
and the views 🤌 you managed to make even the scariest moments feel like an invitation to adventure... it’s not just visually stunning - it’s immersive, and I think that’s what makes it so special 💯

You made me laugh about lady finger. Initially that was my thought too 😂 so I guess we’re both as toxic as each other! 😂🙈
I’m so glad you liked the scene with Hussaini Bridge! Despite it being quite a short scene it took me a while to put it together as I was trying hard to build the suspense & make it very dramatic! So it took A LOT of creativity ! I’m so proud of the scene that I shall be clipping it & posting it as a separate UA-cam video 😉
You made a really fantastic point about khunjerab pass. It was something that had crossed my mind at the time that I completely forgot about until you reminded me just now. You really don’t think Pak & China are next door to each other because of how DIFFERENT they are. Completely worlds apart ! I hope to cross the border into China at some point. Now that would be one hell of a documentary to make! 😉
