I like the angles on the buildings, and the Escher vibes were interesting as well. I found the x-pro1 works nicely for such casual shooting. The ISO up to 6400 works fine as well, in black and white at least. Nice shots, pleasant video, good music choice. Interesting architecture and scary children and the teepee among the concrete is interesting as well. You can get a thing called a photographer's ephemeris and it will give you the angle of the sun and the location for a given spot or address. Then, if you wish to intensify the shadows or sun for any given location you can see what time of day is best. I use it in real estate photography. Very helpful with google maps etc. Assuming you have a choice. Sometimes buildings have interesting features not usually noticed, where they "shine" ;) but, they really do have hidden things in them. Best wishes! God bless! Peace to you and yours, and all of China.
Thank you again for your kind words and helpful tips, especially on the ephemeris. I agree the X-Pro1 is such an enjoyable camera for casual shooting, and I have no fear of using its ISO at 6400. Blessings to you and yours as well, take care!
I find shooting both auto and manual with this 16mm lens quite effortless. I specifically like Fujifilms built-in electronic focusing scale which is a massive help when zone focusing with their auto lenses.
@@paulappleby2729 thank you! Im planning to get the 16mm this week. Im new to this hobby, i was using only the ttartisan 25mm manual lens. I don't understand zone focusing. Do you have videos about it
It’s a great little lens, I hope you enjoy it like I do 👍 I don't currently have any videos on zone focusing, but many articles about this subject can be found on UA-cam and Google.
Had to sell my Leica Q2 last year. Picked up the XPro1 and the 16mm to get me back out shooting this year. Thanks for the video. Cheers!
I have this camera too. I don’t shoot it much. I have it as a collector’s item. I use other cameras mostly. But I do like to bring it out sometimes.
You have the right idea, treasure this camera 😎👍
Got one for 200. Under 500 shutter counts. Thing is immaculine.
@@mrbale1815 That’s a steal of a deal.

pro negative standard looks good at high iso as well.
I have the XE1 but the lens I use is manual. Does the autofocus of this lens help you with your xpro1 or do also shoot manual with it?
