How would you compare it to Double Black Diamond? Seems to me like DBD has noticeably better hand speed and feedback/feel. 3x might be a bit more powerful and poppy (not sure if that is just the higher swing weight)? Not sure about spin
@@pjpj2639 the difference is not big, same length, 1x is 7.25 wide and 3x is 7.5 wide while the handle is 0.25 shorter. It's very hard to change the feel of a paddle, I tried both but I need that pop for my backhand push, first generation is too soft for me, I need the second. I am used with smaller paddles cause I like the speed, so 2x is perfect for me, actually I would love to have it smaller, 7.5 wide would be great.
Really great rundown Ty… I had the crbn1 elongated…..originally…never had a elongated before but wanted to take balls out of the air that I was having trouble with previously……tried the crbn2 elongated didn’t like it sold it….too much pop couldn’t control it…but once in awhile hit klunker on the elongated think….I wish I had my old paddle tek back…..but don’t get me wrong the crbn1 …..elongated paddle has been a game changer for spin and power…. Sounds like the crbn3 elongated ( shorter handle don’t like for two hand resets) might be worth checking out….

I find this paddle a bit poppier than the crbn1 (elongated). How would you weight this to make it less so.
Why would you try to change the feel of a paddle instead of just going with the original CRBN 1?

3x is between 2x and 1x.
3x Slightly bigger head than 1x. Length is between both
