I have 3 of the 16mm CRBN 3X Power Series paddles (one for my wife and two for me) and I love them. As a 4.0 player this is such a great all-around paddle and the folks at CRBN have been very good about support when needed. I highly recommend this paddle for anyone considering it.
question, have always played 2x and I got a 3x. My 3x has almost no grit. They told me its just random. Do you notice differences in your 3x's? I dont even need the eraser it is literally so smooth its never dirty.
I've been playing with the Joola Scorpeus Anna Bright 14mm, I'm curious to try this because I like the all-around idea of a 3X. Would you recommend the 14 or 16mm?
Is the 1X better than the Perseus or Hyperion C2? Or roughly they're all pretty close? Love the Perseus 16 I been using since it came out, but feel like it's dropping a little in the power department, the Perseus 14 solves the power issue, but dips drastically in the control department. Recently got a Hyperion C2 16 that I've played probably 12 games of doubles with, that's been fine too, but feels kind of similar to Perseus in terms of Power level. Would like something with a tad more power
Very nice review. I am 4.0 player playing with X1/16 for close to six months, at least three hours a day and it is still perfect. I never leave it in the car...maybe that can cause some issues for some people. Or those issues are several years old...I've just received X1/14 and looking forward to use it. I wish the pedals would come in different weights like Selkirk. Maybe light 7.3-7.6, medium 7.7-8.0 and heavy 8.1 -8.4 oz. I would not mind paying $10 for the option...
I have 5 friends who have been through at least 4-7 paddles that have delaminated. This paddle does not last longer than a month or two. I don’t care how good a warranty is if I constantly have to replace a broken paddle, it’s not good quality. For the same price, there are countless paddles that get the same spin and power that don’t break. If anything I think this is the most overrated paddle. The new gearboxes and engage are so much better, engage also has a limited lifetime warranty.
Have you tried the CRBN?
Thank you ! I agree, it’s a sleeper and under appreciated. Love my 2x
😎👍🏻

I like my 3x, but I will probably need to eventually add some weights. Its power is okay at best, but also maybe I'm just not strong enough
👍🏻
Question for you guys! Did you add lead to the 3x 14mm and if so where did you feel it did best for that specific paddle?
Used the 16mm
At 4 and 8 o’clock !
Thoughts on the TW 12 mm? I need a paddle for singles. My 1x 16mm is ok but I was thinking the 12 might have more power and spin.
It will and it is a great paddle. It will slightly be harder to control due to the mm
Your experience with the different paddles shows how you must change your game in accordance to the different paddle performance!
😊

14
Have you guys tried the pickleball apes pro line energy and if so what do you think?
Hopefully soon…

CRBN is good, and may be a better option for you
Thought you were going to say “not to be confused with Eren Jaeger” iykyk
Lol
Was hoping you would differentiate between the 16mm and 14mm
There are pretty much the same paddle, the only difference is that the 14mm is more maneuverable and has a little bit more pop.
@@BrionesPickleball thx the power about the same?
Compare to Vnislovd?
Thanks for the suggestion!

🤨
The website says a 1 year warranty not a lifetime warranty. This is a significant difference when assessing price.

???
lol
Lol
I just wish the paddle face didn’t rub off every 2 weeks
I’ve had a CRBN way longer than that, you must be playing 24 hours a day lol
Get paddle with raw carbon fiber face lasts a lot longer
Price is a deal breaker thank god we now have choice. There are plenty of good to excellent paddles for 130.bucks and less ..
Lots of good paddles out there, with the lifetime warranty and US customer service, something to keep in mind when purchasing as well.
@@BrionesPickleball besides Selkirk when you buy their most expensive paddle .who else?
I think Paddletek and engage may have it as well
Any idea what the swingweight is on the 14mm?
Sorry I don’t, but I’m confident that it’s slightly lower than the 16
What is your favorite doubles paddle
For me, the SLK halo 16.
For Yeager, the six zero DBD.

Great to hear!

Not true. They don't delam anymore and have a much stronger build quality than any other thermoformed paddle out there.
Yea 20+ paddles delaminating is a little excessive lol
honestly its nice getting a brand new grippy paddle for free every few months. Every paddle loses its grip. Delamination just gets you a freebie.
