The blocking seems to be about the video, not the audio. Put something over the video (does not have to be blocked out, just greyed or similar) then leave the audio alone.
Are you saying that the echo is to help prevent the block? Because, my understanding is that for Pentatonix the block is triggered by the video. So what usually works is for the video to be altered until it's really hard to see -- reduce the size, increase the transparency, and/ or overlay some text or a graphic. The fans are used to it. And you should be able to react to a UA-cam audio or a live version without getting blocked. They have many great songs that never got an official video.
Put copyrighted to….. in a lower corner. It doesn’t have to be that big. Include the fair use copyright blurb in the details. Also cutoff or hide the edges. An old time TV frame might work. Leave the sound alone.
We love to share that this video was filmed in Avi and Kevin's apartment kitchen, and the vocals were recorded in a closet. The full cost of production was about $400 and it won a Grammy as you know. Nice reaction!
Pentatonix definitely isn't the oldest of the acapella groups, but they ARE the group that brought a more advanced, modern version of acapella to the forefront. When they competed in The Sing-Off, they didn't just win - it wasn't even close. The gap between first and second place, just in what they could do vocally, was astronomical. The judges had already done two seasons of the competition, and they couldn't even reconcile how good PTX was compared to everyone else. Their very first number in Week 1 didn't just blow the judges away - it blew away the other competitors. In the video, you can see the competitors looking stunned, saying, "Oh my God," like they knew they just realized they didn't have a chance. And most of the groups had been together for a while. PTX got together right before the audition for the show, and they were SLAYING. It was almost embarrassing, really, as if the show had brought in a ringer to be the sure-thing winner, as if they had rigged the show - the difference was THAT big. And every week, the judges just sat there, stunned. By week 2 or 3, they had already dubbed Kevin and Avi "Meat & Potatoes," because 90% of what PTX was pulling off depended on those two killing their parts. It really was remarkable. | So when they won the show, they won a recording contract, which was promptly rescinded, because Epic Records had no clue what to do with them, or how to market them. So they started making their own videos and marketing themselves through UA-cam. And they exploded. Then they won a Grammy, Then another. And another. Their Christmas songs weren't just their bread and butter, they're the best version of Christmas songs you've ever heard. And so their Christmas albums shot through the roof, most of them have gone multi-platinum. And then their world tours started selling out. And this all set the stage for the other most talented acapella groups to finally make their way to the top. | Home Free started in 2001. Their bass Tim Foust joined in 2012. They and Home Free competed on Season 4 of The Sing-Off. After The Sing-Off, both groups started recording and releasing videos on UA-cam, following the format set forth by Pentatonix. Old Pentaholic joke about the outfits in the video: Mitch: I'm just going to wear this old sweater. Scott: I'm cosplaying as Jack Frost! Kirstin: I'm going all out with the blue - contacts, makeup, wig, outfit - everything! Kevin: These goggles really fit the theme we're going for! Avi: ...You guys are wearing clothes? There are 7 Daft Punk songs in this mashup: Technologic, One More Time, Get Lucky, Digital Love, Harder-Better-Faster-Stronger, Television Rules the Nation, Around the World.
Pentaholic here! So glad you are going down the PTX rabbit hole. You won’t regret it. Definitely recommend Sound of Silence, Havana, O Come All Ye Faithful, Can you Feel the Love Tonight and 90’s Medley! After Avi left he was replaced by Matt who’s also amazing 🩷
Did you notice when Avi was doing his "television" solo, Kirsty was in the background doing "Around the world". If you like dance tracks listen to their 90's Dance Medley. Also don't forget the Private Performance link I left you, now that you have seen this, that one will surprise you. Lastly, the had several schools ask about covering their original "Run To You", so they decided to just give the sheet music to any school that wanted it, and I believe they actually included any song a school wanted. As usual great reaction, love the energy you bring.
Their transitions are second to none! Seamless every time. I recommend their original, Love Again. It is an EDM vibe also and it is so well done. I have played it for people and they didn't believe me it was acapella.
Similar to Daft Punk is an original song called "Love Again" written by Kevin and Avi. It should have won Awards, plus you'll see Kevin on Fire with his Beatboxing and he has contacts in this one. happy Holiday's guys...🎄🎅
I'm glad you have taken the jump down the rabbit hole. There is over a decade worth of songs for you to enjoy. All of them (with Avi through 2017 and/or Matt after 2017) are great songs. Then, you also have SuperFruit videos (Mitch and Scott), and my favorite, Avi Kaplan who has a complete song list of his solo work to listen to and see. Avi just put out his newest song a week ago. 👌
Kevin is a tenor, his voice is high. Avi and Scott are the two low voices, Scott covers the bass for Avi when Avi (or Matt on the newer stuff) has a solo. Kevin has a solo in their cover of “Imagine” if you want to hear him sing. Great reaction!
Back when they were on the Sing Off, one of the judges referred to Avi and Kevin as the “meat and potatoes” with their bass and beatboxing. That always stuck with me😅 They are all fantastic together!
A small company called Fifgen Films did this video for them. At the time that production company was 3 guys under 25yrs old. They did all the early PTX videos and after their success with PTX they started working with a lot of the other a capella groups, too. They did that Ring Of Fire video for Home Free. There's actually a writeup by Fifgen on a lighting and video blog called strobist about making this video... it isn't exactly the zero budget urban legend fans tell everyone, but it's close (shooting the video in Avi and Kevin's kitchen is true!)
Avi’s eyes are definitely red lol. Kevin is wearing the sunglasses because he couldn’t handle the contacts! Definitely do Kiss From A Rose! It’s one of the best covers they’ve ever done I think.
Apparently, Kirsty doesn't like her little side smile, but everybody else finds it cute as hell. Also, you're right--their parents' dental coverage was very good.
If you want to get a feel for Kevin Olusola’s immense talent, please watch his cover of “Down.” Just him. By himself. Doing all the things. Truly amazing. Also, for your next PTX reaction I recommend “Say Something.” Kevin plays cello while beatboxing in that one. ⭐️
You’re just getting started…..and ain’t seen nothin’ yet!!! Their medleys and ‘evolution of’ videos are legendary. They are the masters at what they do and their blending/transitions are perfection. As for their vocal ranges: Avi is a basso profundo (lowest of the bass registers) and known to blow speakers. Professionally trained and on his way to the L.A. Metropolitan Opera when he was recruited by the newly formed PTX, can sing up to a beautiful tenor. Scott is a baritone who easily covers the bass line when Avi takes the lead. And usually sings tenor when soloing. Kirstie is a mezzo soprano who sings alto up to Mariah Carey whistle notes with ease. And then we have the Magical Mitch who has the rarest of voices, a natural contra-tenor who can switch from chest to head voice seamlessly and has one of the most beautiful voices I’ve ever heard. And don’t forget Kevin, beat boxer extraordinaire. He wasn’t comfortable singing until working with Avi and gaining enough confidence to share with us his beautiful, pitch-perfect tenor. How these five people came together to gift us with Pentatonix is nothing short of a miracle.
You were right on about the contacts! Kevin couldn't wear them, but the glasses added a great futuristic look. Avi had issues, obviously, but he hung in there with them! For their first Grammy, on a cheap budget, they did fantastic!
Great reaction, guys!! I noticed an echo on the audio and presume it was done by you to avoid copyright issues. However, most of the issues PTX vids have is with the visuals, so most reactors put an opaque overlay and add some text to the screen to deal with it. I'm chuffed you guys know all their names so well already! Score 10 points each!! 😄 Maybe now would be a good time to check out some more recent stuff from them...like Shallow, Sound of Silence, Coffee In Bed ( an original), Mad World, or even their newest song, Kiss From A Rose.
The 1st time I watched this, I didn't think that the beatboxing could possibly be REAL. But, it ABSOLUTELY is. Avi did REALLY have a hard time with the contacts. Loved your reaction guys. Just wait til you hear their Christmas music. Mr Grinch music video is fun. But the LIVE performance is one of the BEST things I have seen. I will find you the link. #Pentatonix #PTX #highlyreactivereactions
Yeah most people don't know this.... I was so confused in hallelujah. By process of elimination I thought it had to be Kevin covering bass when avi sings.... But it's Scott! You can really see it in the live version where the camera pans on the standing/walking in a circle in stage.... It's incredible how seemlessly they trade off parts. Scott does quite the avi impression. Also in bohemian rhapsody, you can hear Scott singing both parts in the "let him go" section. If you listen close he sings high with mitch and kirsty then cuts off early and sings a very low harmony down with avi... It's incredible how he switches back and forth so quickly!
Great reactions again guys. Coming into Christmas I’d love to see you react to their cover of Mary Did You Know. Also just in general their cover of Sound of Silence is brilliant as well.
As stated by others this was filmed in one of their apartments on a low budget. It was filmed and edited by a company called Fifgen Films out of Oregon. The Grammy win was for the musical arrangement.
Kevin can be low when he’s doing percussion, but in an interview with Mitch and Kirstie, they were asked who had the highest singing voice, the looked at each other, smiled and said “Kevin” 😂
I've loved your reactions and excitement as you explore PTX. As you learn more about Kevin, you will see what an amazingly talented individual he is, and not only musically. You will also probably be surprised when you hear the first time he sings a solo part. Amazing Grace and Imagine are two examples.
Great reaction! For PTX Xmas songs I recommend their latest videos Pure Imagination/Christmas Time is Here, Please Santa Please (an original!), and Kiss From a Rose (it's on their Xmas album, so now it is a Xmas song). Going back further Come All Ye Faithful, Mary Did You Know, Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy (their second Grammy!), 12 Days of Christmas, and Thank You (another original).
Definitely check out Run to You - sublime harmonies and goosebump worthy chords. (Fun fact: for the video they learned to sing it backwards to accommodate the floating up snow!) For Christmas - Silent Night, again for incredible harmonies. Carol of the Bells shows off Mitch's breath control. O Come All Ye Thankful (original version with Avi) for a very different take on it.
For XMAS, enjoy “MARY DID YOU KNOW” and “AMAZING GRACE”. But they have a slew to choose from! You guys are great and very interactive with the commenters. I love to see that. You acknowledge so many, if not all of them! Great going, guys!
Not sure if it was mentioned yet but I see you’ve only done songs with Avi in them so far. There has been one member change. Matt replaced Avi about 6 years ago. Recommend Sound of Silence (and about a hundred other songs LoL) Christmas ones, You’re a Mean One Mr Grinch and the one they just dropped a couple days ago Pure Imagination/Christmas Time is Here
Um, the 2 lower voices are Scott's baritone & Avi's bass. Kevin is a tenor. Mitch is a counter tenor. Matt who took over when Avi left also has a large vocal range.
If you truly want to understand Pentatonix, may I suggest watching their journey on the Sing Off Season 3. That is where PTX got their start. Incidentally, it's also where Home Free, and Voice Play really got their starts, as well, on Season 4. I would suggest you watch those as well!
Great reaction!!! Yes, it is highly unfair that not only are they all gorgeous and outrageously talented, but they all have the most perfect white teeth 😁. I also HIGHLY recommend 90’s Dance Medley and their original Love Again!!! You were on point with their eyes being extremely irritated by the contacts and that Kevin couldn’t use them, so he wore the glasses. Their amazing Christmas catalog is HUGE! I recommend this live version of Carol of the Bells recently posted by Ptxlive (it isn’t usually available): ua-cam.com/video/JtS58SE8HAg/v-deo.htmlsi=SLMb7j51u6p2VFpF. Subscribing for more PTX 😁
Love your reactions. Glad to see you loved this. I would love to also see you react to their original Love Again. I think you will also enjoy their 90’s Dance Medley. Best wishes from Tennessee 😊🇺🇸
Thank you for your “reactions”! I hope to see you do more! Please react to IMAGINE (John Lennon) covered by them. It holds a powerful “written” message for TODAY’s world. It’s so impactful! :-)
I love that you are going to do more PTX. I know the copyright situation is a pain. The most recent VEVO recordings (Kiss from a Rose and Christmastime is Here mashup) don't seem to be obstructted (so far).
Great reactions!!!! AND Definitely repeating myself…..do,their Sing Off performances!!!! Their beginnings and will prove they can do everything live!!!! Including skip their voices
You're right about Avi and the contacts. Kevin said Nah man, I'll just wear the shades. This was filmed at Avi and Kevin's place for about $400. Crazy right?!
People talk about Kirstie's and,Mitch's high notes. Recently on tour I believe it was a reporter in Europe asked who could hit the highest note, expecting them to point to Mitch or Kirstie. They all looked at each other and all pointed to Kevin.
Loved your reaction to this. Let me also assure you that we Pentaholics will fully understand if you need to place a filter in order to get through copyright. We'd much rather hear the song and see your reaction with a filter than not get to hear you react at all!
Hmm, Christmas you say...in no particular order here's my recommendations: o come all ye faithful, Carol of the bells, Mr. Grinch (from the Evergreen Experience), Silent Night, O holy night (new album - audio), Joyful, joyful, Dance of the sugar plum fairy...there, that should be enough to start with!! 😊
Welcome to our family of Pentaholics. I can see you're ready to enter the rabbit hole. One esoteric fact, PTX was the Canadian team in the second Pitch Perfect movie. I'm sure you have a list of songs, but check out Radioactive from Imagine Dragons. They bring in Lindsey Sterling and Kevin plays cello while beatboxing.
This song is so hard to do live. When i saw them in concert (with Matt and not Avi) they got off and they couldnt get it back in key and i was so worried but the rest of the concert was brilliant. They have so many songs out there. Imagine is a great music video and one of my favorite music videos is Favorite Things (This has Matt and not Avi). Their mash ups are some of my favorites.
For recommendations, you will probably enjoy 'Can't Hold Us" by Macklemore and Lewis. Also, if you're read for one of their first originals, "Sing" is a fun video that had input from Pentaholics around the world!
I always like to imagine.... It's Dec 2014. Your little jazz number or movie score has just been nominated for a 2015 Grammy. So you go to the newly renamed instrumental or a cappella category to check out the competition and find...Daft Punk. What the f...?
As a recommendation check out Evolution of Music. 90's Dance Medley has Daft Punk vibes too.... Check out their original songs too, my favorites are Love Me When I Don't, Lucky Ones, Happy New and Sing. The filter over the video should work the avoid getting blocked. As for the Christmas songs, just check songs that you know, love them or hate them, Pentatonix always puts a twist on the. Great reaction. Can't wait to see more.
Ya they are kinda otherworldly vocally; They have a great new live "Kiss From a Rose" Kevin is doing his Cello boxing, something he created as a music form. Plays Cello while beat boxing. Kevin facts; Played Carnegie Hall as a teen on the Cello, Graduated from YALE med school, speaks Mandarin, has a fantastic tenor voice.
Since you enjoyed their arrangement in this medley, I'd recommend you get mind blown by Evolution of Beyonce! Their 'evolution of' are always super good but this one is particularly great to show their skills in syncopation and getting the real soul of a song out in a small clip! Great reaction, seconding the suggestion to distort the video a bit!
Try some of Avi's solo music. So much to choose from. He's not just another pretty bass. New song just released called Healing! That voice could heal anything. Good job guys😅
Leeway: ( the person without the hat on) A couple of things I would suggest: 1) when you start a video, why don’t you say who you are? If you want to grow the channel, getting a little personal with us is important ! 2) when you play the video, there is an echo and the sound quality goes down. For me, being hearing challenged, it is really hard to process the sound! Stay safe, sane, stay strong
Great reaction. They also perform this live. You can hear them perform Daft Punk, Bohemian Rhapsody and Hallelujah live at the Hollywood Bowl 2022 concert if you have any ? If they are really this talented. They also have original music. Love Again is an original EDM song. I also like originals Sing, Coffee in Bed, Water, Can’t Sleep Love, Be My Eyes, Prayers for this World, Run to You and I Rise. They do so many genres. They won a Grammy for this and for a version of Jolene with Dolly Parton and for Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies. You might like Can’t Hold Us, Shallow, Mad World, Papaoutai, Radioactive, Problem, Kiss from a Rose. For Christmas music they have a new original out Please Santa Please. I also love Little Drummer Boy, Oh Come All Ye Faithful ( trust me). Mr. Grinch. Carol of the Bells, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen and Silent Night.
I wasn't going to comment, because I missed this reaction when it came out four months ago and it seems a bit late. But you guys went all the way to the end of the outro, where Avi told people where they could get the sheet music for "Run To You," and I feel the need to make both an explanation and a correction. First, the explanation: "Run To You" is a #Pentatonix original, written by Avi and Kevin. The best rendition of it that I've been able to find is the official video, for two reasons: First, when they sing "Run To You" in concert they generally gather around a single microphone; it's a quiet, intimate song, and even when the crowd is trying to be quiet, crowd noise is a major problem with all the live recordings I can find. The second reason is more technical. "Run To You" has no lead singer, no solos, no percussion; it's just stunningly gorgeous five part harmony throughout. And thanks to the genius of their audio editor, Ed Boyer, whenever the camera focuses on one singer rather than Pentatonix as a whole, that singer's voice is just slightly more distinct than all the others. It's very subtle, so it doesn't destroy the balance; if you just listen without watching you don't even notice it, but when you DO watch the official video it makes it much easier to distinguish individual voices. It's a beautiful song, and I strongly recommend it. Now for the correction. It's no longer on PTXofficial.com, but the sheet music for "Run To You" is still available, and still free: memberdata.s3.amazonaws.com/pt/ptx2013/files/Run_To_You.pdf
Every song they do is amazing, too many to choose from. I do think you would be surprised at their upgrade (they don't do covers, they make it better) for O Come All Ye Faithful, it was very different than the usual church version I had always heard.
Nice catch with the contacts. Avi’s eyes were very sore by the end of the recording for this, Kevin couldn’t tolerate the contacts at all, so went with the cyber look. It fits well though. I always feel for poor Avi
Please do their recently dropped cover of Seal’s: Kiss from a Rose; stunning !!!! Also, in 2017 Avi was replaced by Matt Salle who he found to replace him; Avi wanted a solo career, so nothing nefarious going on, but a change in direction. Matt is the bass and excellent.
Sorry to all! with the Echo, we are working out the best way, to let the video be UNBLOCKED! we have been given ideas! So appreciate it!!
The blocking seems to be about the video, not the audio. Put something over the video (does not have to be blocked out, just greyed or similar) then leave the audio alone.

Awesome reaction guys. Please react to Voctave the great movie medley, you’ll be thoroughly impressed thanx stay blessed.

Dance tracks!!! 90s dance medley and their original love again will blow your mind

Must have been hurting him abit

More like vocal coaches don't like the side smile -- it impacts the sound of the note. 🙂
Haha it is a great smile
I know. To heck with them.

Yes they won their first Grammy for this.
It may surprise you that Scot sang the bass part in Hallelujah while Avi was singing lead.
Love that they mix it up 😊
I think I just heard a “Mitch-slap!” Nice reaction, guys.
Appreciate your kind words 😊
Kevin is a tenor. But Scott does baritone and covers bass when the central bass has solos… Scott can also head upward in the register.
You were right on about the contacts! Kevin couldn't wear them, but the glasses added a great futuristic look. Avi had issues, obviously, but he hung in there with them! For their first Grammy, on a cheap budget, they did fantastic!
Yeah the glasses looked pretty cool tbf ☺️
You should listen to their Christmas song "Mary did you know".
We will check it out
Well deserved grammy on this!
Avi is able to do that wind sound at the same time as humming a tune! You hear it in Bohemian Rhapsody as well. #Pentatonix
Thats incredible
Subharmonics is absolutely amazing, isn't it?
they are MASTERS at arranging, 2 of their 3 Grammys are for arrangements, only a cappella group to do so
Love that

Maybe now would be a good time to check out some more recent stuff from them...like Shallow, Sound of Silence, Coffee In Bed ( an original), Mad World, or even their newest song, Kiss From A Rose.
We will give it a try next video
The 1st time I watched this, I didn't think that the beatboxing could possibly be REAL.
But, it ABSOLUTELY is.
Avi did REALLY have a hard time with the contacts.
Loved your reaction guys.
Just wait til you hear their Christmas music.
Mr Grinch music video is fun.
But the LIVE performance is one of the BEST things I have seen. I will find you the link.
#Pentatonix

Loved the beat boxing in this one
Kevin is a tenor, obvious in the videos in which he does sing. The bass tones in PTX come from Avi/Matt and Scott.
Three PTX reactions in 3 days! Whoop whoop! Only 200 plus to go! Subscribed! 🫶🇬🇧
Appreciate your subscription. We are getting the vids out where we can
Kevin actually has a higher singing voice(tenor), but he does fill the low end with his beats.
You definitely need to do there imagine and sound of silence also Havana
Thank you for the recommendation 😊
Great reactions again guys. Coming into Christmas I’d love to see you react to their cover of Mary Did You Know. Also just in general their cover of Sound of Silence is brilliant as well.
Christmas tracks coming Real soon to the channel.😊
I'm loving your PTX reactions. Subbed for more because there is sooo much more! Great job, guys!
Awesome! Thank you!
Ohhh and the 90’s medley. ❤❤❤
THEY SPENT $400.00 ON THIS VIDEO AND WON THEIR FIRST GRAMMY.
😮😮😮
Amazing!
As stated by others this was filmed in one of their apartments on a low budget. It was filmed and edited by a company called Fifgen Films out of Oregon. The Grammy win was for the musical arrangement.
Love it!
Kevin can be low when he’s doing percussion, but in an interview with Mitch and Kirstie, they were asked who had the highest singing voice, the looked at each other, smiled and said “Kevin” 😂
😂 Awesome
highly highly recommend finding the LIVE BACKSTAGE performance of this. Amazing watch to see how this is executed live!!! so talented
We will have to check it out
The link is to the video I mentioned. p.s. thanks so much for the content! ua-cam.com/video/tw4YCsHXKgI/v-deo.html
I've loved your reactions and excitement as you explore PTX. As you learn more about Kevin, you will see what an amazingly talented individual he is, and not only musically. You will also probably be surprised when you hear the first time he sings a solo part. Amazing Grace and Imagine are two examples.
Thank you for the kind words and information 😊
PTX won season three 2011 of The Sing-Off. Home Free won season four 2013 of The Sing-Off. The show skipped the 2012 season.
Thats amazing!
"Kevin with a lower voice", oh my sweet summer children. You want to hear an Angel sing, listen to their 'Mary Did You Know' cover.
Thank you for those recommendations
Great reaction! For PTX Xmas songs I recommend their latest videos Pure Imagination/Christmas Time is Here, Please Santa Please (an original!), and Kiss From a Rose (it's on their Xmas album, so now it is a Xmas song). Going back further Come All Ye Faithful, Mary Did You Know, Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy (their second Grammy!), 12 Days of Christmas, and Thank You (another original).
Thank yoi for the kind words. Xmas songs coming soon 😊
I swear I don't know how Kevin's lips don't just catch fire.
I know right 😂
Definitely check out Run to You - sublime harmonies and goosebump worthy chords.
Thank you for sharing 😊
Great reaction again guys if you want ptx dance type tracks then I'd recommend their 90s dance medley or their original song love again 😊.
Thank you for your kind words 😊
For XMAS, enjoy “MARY DID YOU KNOW” and “AMAZING GRACE”. But they have a slew to choose from! You guys are great and very interactive with the commenters. I love to see that. You acknowledge so many, if not all of them! Great going, guys!
Thank you for those recommendations
Not sure if it was mentioned yet but I see you’ve only done songs with Avi in them so far. There has been one member change. Matt replaced Avi about 6 years ago.
Recommend Sound of Silence (and about a hundred other songs LoL)
Christmas ones, You’re a Mean One Mr Grinch and the one they just dropped a couple days ago Pure Imagination/Christmas Time is Here
Thank you for sharing
You need to watch any of their ones form the Sing Off or the History of Music Medley
We will check it out
I agree! It's amazing to watch them find their sound in the sing off... The group came together not long before they did the show.
Um, the 2 lower voices are Scott's baritone & Avi's bass. Kevin is a tenor. Mitch is a counter tenor. Matt who took over when Avi left also has a large vocal range.
This was their first Grammy!!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Now is the time to start Christmas! Check out " O come all ye faithful", "God rest ye merry gentlemen" and " Carol of the bells" for starters.
Xmas playlist will be coming very soon
Just to let you know, PTX doesn't block reactors, but the label does. Which is stupid
We normally do independent artists so this is new to us 😂
If you truly want to understand Pentatonix, may I suggest watching their journey on the Sing Off Season 3. That is where PTX got their start. Incidentally, it's also where Home Free, and Voice Play really got their starts, as well, on Season 4. I would suggest you watch those as well!
Appreciate the advice ☺️
For fun watch Pentatonix - My favorite things and Wizard of AHHHH (with Todrick Hall) under Todrick Hall with Pentatonix
Thank you for the recommendation
Love them so much! #PTX
💯
Haha they are good looking bunch. Thankyou for the recommendation
@@highlyreactivereactions Love Again by all rights should have made it to the radio, it's amazing dance music. You are not prepared!
You wanted lips - you got lips!😁
😂😂
if you liked this then you will completely love their original "Love Again" it's very EDM heavy but still a huge banger!
Thank you for the recommendation
Love your reactions. Glad to see you loved this. I would love to also see you react to their original Love Again. I think you will also enjoy their 90’s Dance Medley. Best wishes from Tennessee 😊🇺🇸
Thank you for those kind words and recommendations Judy ☺️
Thank you for your “reactions”! I hope to see you do more! Please react to IMAGINE (John Lennon) covered by them. It holds a powerful “written” message for TODAY’s world. It’s so impactful! :-)
Thank you for the kind words of support ☺️
Check out one of their original songs. I recommend Love Again, Can't Sleep Love, or Sing!
Thank you for the recommendation
You may be interested in hearing Voctave (they are a 13-person group). Acapella as well!
Thanks for that recommendation! means alot, all of them are added to our list! much love to you!
I love that you are going to do more PTX. I know the copyright situation is a pain. The most recent VEVO recordings (Kiss from a Rose and Christmastime is Here mashup) don't seem to be obstructted (so far).
We will work through it. Appreciate you
Great reactions!!!! AND Definitely repeating myself…..do,their Sing Off performances!!!! Their beginnings and will prove they can do everything live!!!! Including skip their voices
We will get to them one day 😊
@@highlyreactivereactions make it sooner than later! It will make you appreciate them as a group so much more!
You're right about Avi and the contacts. Kevin said Nah man, I'll just wear the shades. This was filmed at Avi and Kevin's place for about $400. Crazy right?!
It was defintely well made on that price 😊
People talk about Kirstie's and,Mitch's high notes. Recently on tour I believe it was a reporter in Europe asked who could hit the highest note, expecting them to point to Mitch or Kirstie. They all looked at each other and all pointed to Kevin.
Awesome 😂
Loved your reaction to this. Let me also assure you that we Pentaholics will fully understand if you need to place a filter in order to get through copyright. We'd much rather hear the song and see your reaction with a filter than not get to hear you react at all!
😊❤ Since you asked; Kevin couldn't handle the contacts so he opted for the glasses instead! 😅😊❤❤
Haha I don't blame tbh 😂
Hmm, Christmas you say...in no particular order here's my recommendations: o come all ye faithful, Carol of the bells, Mr. Grinch (from the Evergreen Experience), Silent Night, O holy night (new album - audio), Joyful, joyful, Dance of the sugar plum fairy...there, that should be enough to start with!! 😊
Appreciate those recommendations
You noticed that Avi's eyes are red, but did you notice that nobody blinks during the video.
Probably hurts 😂
Whoa.... Watched this a million times and never noticed.....
you may wanna watch their latest performance Kiss From A Rose LIVE
Appreciate the recommendation
Welcome to our family of Pentaholics. I can see you're ready to enter the rabbit hole. One esoteric fact, PTX was the Canadian team in the second Pitch Perfect movie. I'm sure you have a list of songs, but check out Radioactive from Imagine Dragons. They bring in Lindsey Sterling and Kevin plays cello while beatboxing.
We are loving the rabbit hole so far
You need to watch "Home Free- Man of constant sorrow". It's Amazing
Sorry to burdt your bubbles but Kevin is a tenor with a very high voice. Avi and Scott are the low
Please react to a recent video of them so that you can see their growth and maturity
We will check out a recent one
The prayer! ♥
Check out their original 'love again'!
Thank yoi for the recommendation
This song is so hard to do live. When i saw them in concert (with Matt and not Avi) they got off and they couldnt get it back in key and i was so worried but the rest of the concert was brilliant. They have so many songs out there. Imagine is a great music video and one of my favorite music videos is Favorite Things (This has Matt and not Avi). Their mash ups are some of my favorites.
That sounds amazing 😊
For recommendations, you will probably enjoy 'Can't Hold Us" by Macklemore and Lewis. Also, if you're read for one of their first originals, "Sing" is a fun video that had input from Pentaholics around the world!
Thank you for those recommendations ☺️
I always like to imagine.... It's Dec 2014. Your little jazz number or movie score has just been nominated for a 2015 Grammy. So you go to the newly renamed instrumental or a cappella category to check out the competition and find...Daft Punk. What the f...?
Thank you for your comment
You should check out Avi's solo work...Try the song Change on the Rise
We will have to check it out
As a recommendation check out Evolution of Music.
Thank you for the recommendation
They still do this live still..
We will have to check it out
Its a shame kevin olusola doesnt have more singing parts that man can sing his ass off aswell....you guys should check out kevin olusola - down KOver
Agreed Matt
Cant wait till you get into Superfruit which is just Scott and Mitch group
We will check it out 👍
Sony Music blocked your Hallelujah video in the U.S., which sucks. I enjoyed that reaction.
Damnnn. It happens though
@highlyreactive7708 might have to add a filter on it, to avoid any copyright. Hope it comes back.
Thank you for the recommendation and the kind words 😊
Try some of Avi's solo music. So much to choose from. He's not just another pretty bass. New song just released called Healing! That voice could heal anything. Good job guys😅
Thank you for your comment 😊
Leeway: ( the person without the hat on)
A couple of things I would suggest:
1) when you start a video, why don’t you say who you are? If you want to grow the channel, getting a little personal with us is important !
2) when you play the video, there is an echo and the sound quality goes down. For me, being hearing challenged, it is really hard to process the sound!
Stay safe, sane, stay strong
Appreciate your advice and input 👍
We will have to check it out!
Can't hold us!! Yes!
Thank you for sharing the info. It's never too late 😊
Every song they do is amazing, too many to choose from. I do think you would be surprised at their upgrade (they don't do covers, they make it better) for O Come All Ye Faithful, it was very different than the usual church version I had always heard.
We will have to check it out ☺️
#Pentatonixs
💯
Nice catch with the contacts. Avi’s eyes were very sore by the end of the recording for this, Kevin couldn’t tolerate the contacts at all, so went with the cyber look. It fits well though. I always feel for poor Avi
Poor man looked sore. Well grafted by them though 😊
Thank you for the recommendation
