this is the literal recreation of "when you show your parents a meme and they turn it into a life lesson"
or when you tell them a story and they do that
U have exactly 100 likes and I don’t want to ruin it
I know exactly how you feel
Then doing 10 mins solve awards you $100
@Bruh!an mwah
*does sloppy 2 min solve*
my grandma: "wow you're a genuis, here's $20"
yea but no matter how slow you are, non cubers will still be impressed by the fact you solved it
Jeremiah Sumalbag ikr
lol
@@susantkumarparida1712 haha
Jeremiah don't think to impress others instead just try to become more fast so you don't look like a moron in front of good cubers
Im a beginner in cubing and you really taught me a lot. You are also really entertaining.
yEs
50th like
69th like lol
exactly what i'd say
80th like
I love stories like this. It really helps me cope with the fact that I suck right now and that I always feel kind of out of place when I have a cube places. I am just at the "9th grade" part of my journey I guess... but at the age of 27 and in college lmao.
10 and i’m learning how to solve a 4x4, you can do anything you set your mind to
@@scottsaldivar8599 Did you do it?
Non-Cubers be like:
Non-Cuber: *Solving a Rubik’s cube is sooooo easy! There’s just a small secret you need to tell me!*
Cuber: Have you tried a tutorial online?
Non-Cuber: *Yeah, but it was too hard.*
Cuber: .
I know the secrets, you have to start with the basics, don’t be afraid to copy others, persevere and, most importantly, practice
Shroombaby lol
Shroombaby exactly
@Shroombaby stop being so rude it's not nice mate his just giving you a tip in case you want to learn how to solve a rubiks cube, for example I did exactly what he wrote down and now am getting slowly good at it getting faster faster and faster so stop being rude. Treat others like you want to be treated. And also being smart is not bad...
Liked to make it 69
Wakes up, watches j perm saw this insparation video, became president
wow no reply alot off likes preety rare
I've seen that a lot more
Why is this funny ?
@@pravakhanal451 it isn't
So you went present tense then past tense
Me: Solves 2x2
Dad: OH THAT IS SOOOO EASY
Me: Okay try it then
Dad: HOW DO YOU DO THIS!!!!!!!!!
People always think the 2x2 is so easy because the first layer is very simple (even for non-cubers) and then there are only 4 pieces left
edit: first layer, not first two layers
Me: Solves a 11x11 in an hour
Dad: Son, you need hobbies

I just ruined it. It had 69 likes, but I made it 70. You’re welcome 🙃

When you came for the giveaway but learned a life story.
“I came for the copper but found gold”
Wow... no wonder why it feels so touching to me
Yeah...I'm writing it down, too
Yah!

I came for quartz and I found netherite
Damn J Perm all I wanted was a story but instead I got a life lesson
Yeh
There’s a lot of life lessons in his story’s but still, can’t say your wrong....but it was animated so that’s why he called it a story
Hi
To me is a bonus
Yup
J Perm needs to have a collab with theodd1sout

This was the best video I’ve ever watched on UA-cam
42 years old and I just started cubing: this video is amazing on so many life levels. Thank you
Hobby for life. And, yh, great video series. *thumbs up*
Yes!! I'm not the only cuber in my 40's!!.... and neither are you!!
10 and started cubing 5 weeks ago, got my first sub-minute solve today
r u still cubinf
@@ollie32354 not like I used to. I still play with it tho
I stopped cubing like 5 years ago, your videos kinda brought me back. Thank You!
Sup Jperm! I got into cubing a few months ago, and because of you videos, I am now sub 20! You are my favorite UA-camr. Love u
Hi Jperm thank you for this video it’s exactly what I needed to hear as someone who has milked the beginner methods for over 3 years now going back and forth from attempting f2l and back to BM. I’ve started my own UA-cam channel and have decided to pump out my videos then have a break and spend the months needed to master f2L. This video touched me and was the inspiration and help I needed. Thanks again :)
hey J Perm been watching you for a while as ive started to rly get into cubing and decided to sub today. thx for all the help you've given me.
Hey JPerm. I wanted to learn F2L a looonggg while back - I came across your video. Loved it so much, and have been here ever since. Thank you
Hey JPerm I just started cubing and I can solve a cube in 3 minutes. I’m getting a new 3x3 and my first 4x4 tomorrow!
Hey Perm I love your channel and wanted to thank you for helping me improve in cubing. You're Awesome
I can relate to everything you’ve said in this series. Also thanks for helping me with the 5x5, your tutorials helped me out a bunch.
Rename the title....
"THE SECRET To LIFE'S SUCCESS"
Me : cubing
People: what's the secret
Me: solves it in front of them
People: NAH U DID something else
Someone once told me that only robots can solve Rubik's cubes so I proceeded to solve one in front of her.
Now she's convinces that I am a robot.

Thanks for making me do fmc, be a sub 20 cuber and being faster at 2x2.. You’re such a really nice youtuber.. 🤙
Bro your beginner cfop playlist is so fricking helpful. My friends got me into cubing and now because of you, I can compete on the same level as them. Know that your talents and skills are helping others everyday whether you choose to believe so or not.
Thank you so much for this. This is a very inspiring story and will encourage many, many people.
Wow this was amazing. I definitely learned a life lesson. This is why I am subscribe to you. Your videos are always consistent.
You’re literally my favourite UA-cam channel in terms of cubing. You helped me a lot! I learnt how to be sub 20 to sub 15 watching ur videos and tutorials. I also learnt how to do blind recently by watching your tutorial! Thank you so much!!!
wow this is so relatable. I was thinking of just stopping after a while and forget all about cubing but watching this makes me think why i started cubing in the first place. now i never wanna quit this video gives me more optimism to keep going with cubing and something i want to do. right now im learning cfop and trying to get sub 40.
These are so wholesome bro. Id honestly watch an entire series of these lil videos.
J perm u r my fav cuber, not gonna lie. Like ur videos r soo good and I absolutely LOVE ur tier vids. Keep up the gr8 work!
I just gotta say I love all of your videos and I basically have learned everything for cubing from your videos
Hey J Perm love your videos and thanks for sharing your tips you’ve helped me improve so much
I really love what you've been doing for the community. Much love brother.👌
It's crazy to see how far the channel has come, congratz!
Your videos have helped me tons, not only the tutorials but also the funny videos, putting a precious smile on my face. Thank you for this, keep up the great work! :)
You make living and cubing one and the same thing, and you have a strong passion for both.
Amazing life lesson!
Hey j perm, this video you made was great and it sort of in a way made me reflect on myself and who I want to be and how to get there. Keep up the great work
nice video. I think it was you and a few other youtubers that brought me back to cubing. I still average like, 25 seconds, but im working on it. Love your channel, 100% best cubing channel
Love your channel and your little story's. I learnt how to solve the 2x2, 3x3 from you and you made look like a legend in front of my friends. Thanks and keep it up.
Been waiting for another animated cubing story love your channel jperm
This video was made years ago, yet it's still the best video I've ever seen. This video was also somewhat educational. Thank you, Jperm, you've taught me a lot. You truly do deserve all of your subscribers, and even more.
Hey j perm! I was at a camp the previous month and two people in my cabin but had Rubix cubes. They could solve them relatively fast and it interested me. So when i got home i ordered a cheap cube from the internet to give it a go. After an hour or so as i was about to give up, i found your tutorial! It’s by far the best one out there and explains things really well!. I can now solve a 3x3 in under a minute on average. But I didn’t want to stop there, so i got a bundle of puzzles and learned the 2x2, pyraminx, and the 4x4! I’m learning a new one right now but i just wanted to come over and say thanks for help and inspiring me to pick up a new hobbie :D
Congrats on 160k subs , hope you get more in the future
You know why , cuz your tutorials helped me in learning new methods to solve the 3x3
To J Perm-
Roses are red, Violets are blue
My Cube is now colorful,
All thanks to you
You are a legend
So unoriginal
Memer Cuber
I literally made that up on the spot
So uh...
That would mean you’re saying that his tutorials didn’t work and the cube is still scrambled.
I think it means the cube was colorless (perhaps transparent or grey) and he learned from J perm how to color it.
I quit cubing long time ago and now i am getting back to it because of you. I just ordered the Yuxin little magic and will be expecting the delivery in a couple of days. Initially i will practice with it and then later i will upgrade to a better one.
Hey J Perm, Your videos are amazing! Do you have any tips for dealing with competition nerves and just performing better at competitions? Would love to see a video about it!
Love your vids man 😁❤️
Started cubing a week ago, I’m sub 45 now with CFOP, 2loll and half way through full pll (I’m on vacation so I have little time to practice algs, more to get used to the cube while doing stuff simultaneously)
I’m already registered for my first tourney, hope i can get sub 30 till it begins (2,5 weeks) and learn full pll consistently 😁
wow u learn fast! Im a few months in and still learning full OLL and intuitive F2L
Cheddarman 100th 😁 what do you average?
Wow that's quick I haven't even learned advanced f2l and full oll and pll but my PB Is 39.56 seconds I'm proud :D
ZR Seal that’s nice man :) I had a 21 seconds record a month later and a sub 25 avg bo5 but quit after that :/
I always like your video I learned:
1 solve 3x3 blindfolded
2 solve 2x2 3x3 4x4 5x5
Thanks for your awesome teaching
Same, without him I'd be lost
I literraly watched the same video series like a year ago from now and got motivated and now I am just way more faster by staying motivated with tis story.
1 year ago my average was around 40 sec
now it is around 20 sec
hope it would go to sub 10 sec after a year
You are the best motivation and the best cuber of all time with a lot kind of experiences more than anyone. Coz you just dont show off but tech others too! Keep going bro
Recently got into cubing and almost all of your videos are super helpful, Thanks!
Dude, by just watching your tutorials I've gone from an average of 1:30 to sub 25. Thank you so much for your tutorials and also for hosting these giveaways.
not only with his tutorial, i gesse u practice a lot too, I am not sub 25 average yet but i can sub 30. And the secret is not juste J perm vidéo or practice, it's doing both at the same time that make u better:)
This really helps to give in perspective motivations and other things. Amazing.
J Perm I was struggling of the make my life happy thing, thinking of ways and stuff, but it turns complicated, your cube daily-life-routine metaphor helped me a lot, and then u said make a change in life and giving examples that matches my thinking bro I really wanna get to know you, I'm not some guy writing this to attract attention, but I hope I'll get to know you, I'm a Malaysian Chinese, I'm fascinated of cubing recently, I watched your video long time go, and I'm 13
this really made me think differently and how i can improve myself
like the routine im on and how i can improve my life

Hey J Perm, your story is so similar to mine. I got the motivation to start cubing again after a lonnngggg break of 5 years, so I just wanna thank you for making this channel, helping thousands of people, and btw I also started a channel recently. You are my ultimate idol.
Thank you very much for this, hope you'll do others cubing stories in future
There are systems of thought that would call what you just described as visualization. I'm totally sharing this with some people at my work that are going to love it.
I love these cubing story, they are soo cute, but this one is different, it’s super deeeeeeeppppp!, hope I win some of the prize in the giveaway
I’ve been practicing for like a few months and my pb is 40 so I still got ways to go but watching your vids teach me strategies and encourage me to keep trying.👍
Dylan, you put so much effort into these, it’s just fascinating how they turn out. It’s not just “wow that thing happened to me some time ago”, not only does it cover, like, an actual period of time in your life, it’s also really inspiring, and there’s also this life experience sharing bit. No, not just a “bit”, it’s way more than that!..
Your videos are just so well composed... the stories flow perfectly well, they feel natural and real... the tutorials are purely what’s necessary to know, so are the reviews.
i think so too... truly a dedicated, funny and great youtuber :D
Love your vids❤️❤️. Just started watching your channel!!!
after this episode I knew that you have a great experience with cubing and other things in life!
Hey J Perm. Thanks for uploading so often. It must be very hard to manage everything so consistently!
Hi JPerm. I watched all the 4 parts of your Cubing Story. Very nice and very inspirational :) Well done!!
Also i know i love your videos and i look out for them because they are going to be high quality and amazing so keep up the good work and keep going on
1:00 that's the exact same problem I have!! A lot of people can learn from your story
I'm loving these stories videos. Do you animated them yourself? They are great. Keep up the awesome work?
Congrats! I love your stuff, keep it up!
A runner who had a 8 month injury in 2018-2019. been injury free for 11 months and then it came up again. ( just runner trying to be his fastest and trying to get sub 18 average in cubing. love the video dude
Hey, J Perm, the first time I watched this, I forgot to comment because the video was that good. Thanks for helping your fans with these giveaways.

Congrats for 160k! I love your channel and your videos!
I always enjoy watching your videos. Thank you for making them.
Hey man. I just finished watching part 1-4 of this series. I just got back to speed cubing after quitting for more or less 4 years i think. I was averaging 22 secs before i quit. A few weeks ago I decided to go back to speed cubing and set a goal to finally be sub 20. To do that, I needed a new cube. My 7(?) year old Dayan Zanchi was at the end of it's life. It keeps popping out after a few solves as the screw keeps getting loose. So I asked my sister for a GAN356 XS and she bought me one. Watched some of your tutorials on how to improve my cross and f2l and currently i'm getting a 14-22 secs solves. Mostly 20+ secs but got a new PB of 11 secs (From my previous PB of 12 secs a few years back with my Zanchi) a few hours ago.
Before going back to speed cubing I had a goal to learn full PLL and OLL but i procrastinated. But after seeing this series it inspired me. It may be difficult at first but as the message of your video says, it'll be worth it in the end.
You may not read this but all I can say is thank you. Thank you for inspiring me to learn new things even though it'll be hard at first.
Thanks for this. Cheers from the Philippines. :)
wow! this is such a clever and beuatiful way to connect cubing (something me and many others love to do) and reflect it onto real life
WHAAT!? YOU'VE NEVER PLAYED TUBER SIMULATOR!?

Same feeling that I got with doing bottom cross. I was mainly sub 10 without it 2 years ago but I quit and I just can't get back my times. I was supposed to stop practicing it because it made my times worse but after this video, I think I'll give it one more chance. Thanks dude
