Have been a big fan of Focal since starting off in car audio many many years ago. Cool to see they are starting to share some tech across the 12V and HiFi worlds!
I have the choras and I can garentee these will be fantastic speakers… probably upgrade my front channels to these and shuffle the rest around when I decide to do 7 bed layers
Thanks for the recommendation! We didn't do a formal review of them but we really enjoyed them when we tested them. www.audioadvice.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=vestia

We would recommend a pair of any of these: Focal Theva N°1:audioadvice.io/focalthevaNo1 ▻ Focal Theva N°2: audioadvice.io/FocalThevaNo2 ▻ Focal Theva N°3: audioadvice.io/FocalThevaNo3 Any of these will sound great in a two channel system. Pros and Cons to both port designs. Focal's engineers found it better to be rear ported for these. Just need to be sure to give them a little space off the wall to get the best performance.

Your movie have to deside me to buy the complete theva Line for my homecinema, with 2x svs sb3000 on my marantz cinema 40! It's crazy how good it sounds.
@7:00.. . mhh thats not realy good for my taste. When i look at for example a Neumann KH150 wich is in the same size, they goes down to 39Hz with +/- 3dB. But anyways, i would always use Subwoofer(s) & DSP to get perfect control over roommodes and cut off the Front Speakers even only for Stereo listening, so you dont need to spend the money on towers and go straight with smaller compact bookshelf speaker.
You are comparing at 1700$ per speaker, studio monitor vs a 1k$ per pair consumer speaker. Its not hard to image that the Nuemann is going to win in that comparison.
@@martybrazill7935 not realy for my taste. When you cut the main at 80 or 100hz anyways, a compact speaker has the same or sometimes better performance than towers and you save money wich you can spend in good Subs, DSP & room treatment. When i would by a bigger speaker i would go something in between like a Neumann KH420, Genelec 8361, Barefoot MM27 (yes i know they are far more expensive)...
You are correct. When filming our video it was tough to keep them super clean. However, if you have the right environment, they look absolutely beautiful when cleaned correctly.
I'm a big Focal fan. One of the true world leaders in speaker design.
Agreed!
Stoked for the new tweeter design! Will definitely need to check these out! Great video!
Awesome! Hope you enjoy!
Got to experience these at Axpona - definitely impressed. Love the Focal sound!

They look amazing! Are there any plans in the future comparing them to other speakers?

Anyone actually run tests on front vs rear port design? Seems super subtle regarding room gain

The light wood finish is beautiful. What amp should I pair with these if I get a set of N3's?

Drivers texture is printed though or no ??
No, actually woven in.
They need to make a bookshelf with up-firing as well.

Tower speakers with subs trumps bookshelf speakers with subs in most medium to large rooms.

@@vtkz I don't disagree with the sentiment "Buy once cry once" but when one of the options is 3x more expensive, that's unreasonable in my mind.
