It's actually not the Keyboard but the Software which basically does all the work. Instead of typing one letter at a time in an order it basically uses the software to get input of multiple letters at the same time and form a word which has been 'Chorded'. So the way how it works is very similar to how the Autocorrect works. For an example, for the Word "Keyboard" you'll have to first manually assign the chord to the letters "K-E-Y-B-O-A-R-D" to be "Keyboard" when you hit all the letters. It doesn't matter which letter you hit first as long as you hit all the letters of "K-E-Y-B-O-A-R-D" in any order the input will be "Keyboard. So, if you do "B-A-O-R-K-Y-D-E" it'll be replaced with "Keyboard " that's how you can type in words and not in letters. If the software can be implemented in a normal keyboard you can do it with a Normal keyboard too.

Although the keyboard we use is not at all user-friendly and not ergonomic but it is being use all over the world and most of the people are used to it. Thats why even though there ar many ergonomic keyboard which is way better than current one but people can't just adapt it over night

It will take solid 2 months of practice before u can use it anywhere in real work. Also if u want to chord then u have to actually input shortcuts in the software (which is real show of this tech). Finally it's damn expensive @24k inr.
