It's NOT country- it's a fantastic amalgamation of genres that's soooo catchy that EVERYONE loves it!😂❤❤❤ That's what makes it so great! It starts off with that great bluegrass banjo backed up with a country flat top guitar and a cool island vibe with the wood percussion and then we get some blues grass fiddle and some jazz horns and some R&B piano and horns at the end! I think he knew country music pretty well and her first album was very country,but she prob has had much more success as a crossover artist than she would have ever had in that genre. It starts off with that great bluegrass banjo backed up with a country flat top guitar and a cool island vibe with the wood percussion and then we get some blues grass fiddle and some jazz horns and some R&B piano and horns at the end! And she even crosses genres with the lyrics and with her musical performance, I love how it sounds like a southern gospel choir as it moves into that 3rd verse, it almost feels like Paul Simon's Graceland!❤❤❤❤ This is Brilliant!
