How to get Faster Internet on the Nighthawk?
Вставка
- Опубліковано 25 жов 2022
- This is the second video on our series of home internet videos. This time we tested the Nighthawk M6 in the Adelaide Hills, with and without an external antenna.
We also show you hot to connect the Nighthawk to the antenna and share our live test results from speedtest.net.
As seen in the video, the external antenna makes a huge difference to the signal strength. Especially in an area, where you are on the far edge of the signal reach. When the weather is good you can stream Netflix and watch Smart TV etc. As soon as the weather changes, the signal drops out and is very inconsistent. Using a good directional antenna will keep your signal consistent even when the weather changes.
Our Directional antenna kit for the Nighthawk is available here: rfshop.com.au/product/5g-read...
This antenna is suitable for both 5G and 4G, depending on which nighthawk you have.

Nice demonstration! I've just messaged your website a couple of questions and some info on how I use. If you think this product suits my user case, take my money!
Similar experience for me with the same Poynting xpol-2-5g antenna - the download speeds did not improve at all, only the upload speeds, and better SNR.
How do you attach the Poynting antenna to the pole? The bolts/bracket that is attached to the back of the Poynting antenna is not suitable to clasp the pole. Do you sell a mounting bracket at RFShop?
hello. What are the two connectors you attached from the router. They are white and connected to the antenna lead? Thanks
In settings...Is Max Performance better than balanced like it says battery plugged in for max performance..does this mean it'll add speed???
It would have need nice if you also tried the caravan omni directional antenna as well to compare it with the directional antenna.
RSRP: -110dBm
I'm using the Bluespot 5G antenna UK with the ZTE MU 5001 5G hotspot stock test 2 signal bar with -107db speeds 280mb - 320mb download 5mb upload
Get to the point.
