That old bastard doesnt give two f**ks about that rear axle oil, most of them are driving with old black changed engine oil just because its leaking everywhere. Besides thing is robust as hell, years ago mine lost all the oil from gearbox because someone didnt thighten the drain plug, i drove it for 30km with no oil in gearbox- zero damage given, it still works till this day..
@@silentdeath9237 They didn't make them to be modern they had to do their job which they still do easter europe is full of soviet machines they dont have comfort but their robustness and simplicity is what alot of people like about it. Soviet machinery is alot cheap to maintain and is alot easier work on compared to modern tractors.

That old style filter are a "centrifuge oil filter", seperates heavy oil particles and sot, and let you run longer on same oil. They are on bus and trucks today, scania at least. 1 hour video goes fast. Hope you put on some LED lights on :)
I think that one of your 2023 projects shouold be a wash stand for all of your equipment. This way they would be nice and clean when you need to work on them.

When weather will be beter try preasurewashing this sovient beast. Usualy dirt and crap causes wear and damage, that broken greas plug is good example. Quick note exposed grease and oil atract dirt and dust, thats probably why oil had those lumps in it.
Hi buddy, don’t know about Soviet Engine oil filters but reusable oil strangers have a compressed block of mesh between the two perforated disks. A bit like your wet air filter only much more dense and solid. Cheers!

Your last two video's are just awesome, it is so interesting and amazing how different our oils are from your oil there on your soviet tractor it did look like it needed some tender loving care with the oil and fluids that were in need of changing for sure. LBS meaning it is pounds in your case it would be foot pounds when you tighten the bolts back on your tire with a torque wrench. It tells you how many foot pounds to tightened your bolts to. We are loving your videos and have been watching for a long time. Love the fact you just let your imagination motivate you to create great things and useful things like a tool box totally awesome. That is not a oil leak, its a dynamic rust protection system. Commonly found on french vehicles. We used to joke about this when I worked at Peugeot but then we started with Hyundai and they didn’t leak and the oil pan, engine subframe, front and rear suspension arms and pretty much everything rusted. The Peugeots didn’t so I guess the anti rust system worked!

Those soviet machines are always overbuilt, but also last forever, if you don't screw something up big time. I remember one of my neighbours had a tractor URSUS, it was built like a tank, heavy, no servos, no nothing. Nude and crude systems operated by beacon and eggs or sausages and potatoes... you know what I mean.. I like also repair and mod videos, they're kind of interesting.. and addictive in some weird way... Or is it just me? Cheers, keep on! 😉👍

You need a Milwaukee 2767 impact. They are insane. 1400 lbs fastening force, 1700 lbs breaking force. That’s 500 ft lbs more breaking force than the nut buster.
