やはりフルレンジ＋サブウーハーよりもバックロードホーンですね。
見事な手際よさですね。
ダンピングファクターの高いディスクリート式アンプで鳴らしたら、最高だと思います。
私は、学生時代にアルバイトして購入したNS-1000Mを46年間愛用しております。

the craftsmanship is high end by itself. dont know the speaker and design spec. the hint is the 50 watts max @ ohms which sounds like it was designed for it

以前、興味本位で長岡先生のブックシェルフ型BH、D-102の開口部を板で塞いでそこに内容積から計算してfd50Hzになるようにパイプをつけてバスレスにしたことがあります。200Hz以下すかすかで50Hz付近だけ少しもりあがったタイトな音のスピーカーになりますた。ユニットがBH用の108Σだったのでバスレフ用の低能率フルレンジなら少しはバランスが取れたかもしれません。ただやはり実用的ではなかった気がします。

It would be nice if you took a bit of time explaining how you design and compute the transmission line itself.
@Tekboy 808 Your answer does not make sense. If the information is available out there it's because TL designers share it. But not this guy. In addition you know that TL design is a lot more complex than regular enclosures. And obviously this guy designs seem to be on the edge of what's doable. So I maintain he should share what his thought and techniques are.

Good job, for being a one speaker speaker design it convinces;
The HiVI B4N speaker has a 15 db spike at 3000 hz and would need a serious notch filter to flatten out the response. Above 3000 hz the response rapidly drops off and cone breakup typical of metal cone drivers occurs. The cabinet design may enhance the bass response but this driver is not a good choice for a full range design and no elaborate cabinet design can make up for it.
Yeah, I noticed the sound did not reflect the effort it took to build the cabinet. There's a big gap in the sound where the music belongs. Too bad. Maybe a good full-range driver would serve better, if there is a full-range driver small enough to fit.

@regalblue41 - I don't claim to have the wood working skill that this person obviously has. The fact is that using a HiVi B3S, B3N, or a Tang Band W3-881-SJ or SJF in a simple and smaller sealed (B3) or bass reflex (W3-881) cabinet with a somewhat complicated notch filter would result in a vastly superior sounding speaker than this effort while sacrificing a little bass response. A proper horn design would have an ever increasing throat area ending in a terminus roughly the same area as the driver or larger and not as what this enclosure displays with a "necked down" area at the end. The horn length would also in certain areas be lined with an absorbant material to quench line resonances. This design will become extremely annoying to listen to after a very short period of time. Woodworking skills = A - Speaker design skills = F
I like the end test. I can hear how good these speakers sound on my 10$ headphones.

I'm really sceptical of the high frequency performance of these drivers.. The cone area is too large for good dispersion characteristics above 3.5Khz. It should be a specialised wide band driver or coaxial design.
I have a set of those drivers and they really need a tweeter.
@@BobbyKinstle these are HIVI B4N. It's a midbass driver. i have 4 of these crossed at 3.2khz
@@JayakumaranThangaiah I am using a DSP on mine to bi-amp the woofer and tweeter separately and will probably cross around 3khz. That woofer pairs well with the Dayton 1-1/8" silk dome tweeter.

So what would we call this enclosure type? A back loaded horn feeding a ported enclosure? This might be amenable to mass production if you extruded the box and the labyrinth as a single piece and then just cut it to width, install the driver and put sides on it. If you used a thermoplastic it could be cut with a hot wire instead of a huge saw...
This dude is doing carpentry work of art, very neat and tidy, but sounds muddy and boxy, I suggest plywood sounds better and a better pair of full range drivers
the problem is that boxes have their own resonance, there should be some resin or gel coating applied inside the boxes to prevent "sound colouring" from wood box

My next speaker will be with sonotubes. These are round,reinforced cardboard tubes and immensly strong ( to hold concrete in pillars up to 10 feet). The tubes will be fibreglassed so that they are like drum surrounds for even greater stiffness. Then the only thing is to set an array of bolts to hold them in place and spaced properly. Also cutting a few wooden circles for speaker mounting. I am deciding on tube length but the initial transmision lin will be . 1 5.25 inch driver in a 6 inch tube, then a 8 inch tube, then a 10 or 12 inch depending on the woofers parameters and tuning. After that then I graft 2 tubes on top for a mid and a tweet. Think mickey mouse ears for mids and tweets.

F特見ると２ｋHｚに変なピークがあってそこからダラ下がりのユニットなので、バックロードにはあんまり向かないんじゃ無いかと。Qtsも0.52と高いですし、2kHzのピークをローパスフィルターでカットして２wayなり3wayの密閉箱か、せめてバスレフで使う特性だと思います。バックロードに使うならQ0（Qts)は10cmユニットならせめて0.4以下じゃ無いと厳しいですよ。
全く同感です。
バックロードホーンはQoが0.2～0.3が適してると思います。
自分なんかQoが0.2のスピーカーをかなりダンプしたバスレフで、密閉箱に近い状態で使っています。

Can u tell me is this a tline. I built one of these for my 15" subwoofer. 42" long x 22deep x 18" high. Fits between tire wells in jeep Cherokee. My port in each section gets wider from 2.5" leaving sub chamber to 4" at mouth of port. Use 45s in all your corners for better flow n curf the mouth less chuffing
Oh and I play from 27hz to 60...63hz with strength can float paper in window half rolled down at 33hz pounding hard on 2500watt

Craftsmanship is perfect but purpose of speaker is to sound good, but you used speakers with limited range, so sound wise it's on a level of cheap plastic boxes with decent speaker set. Unfortunately beauty is not quality in this case.

с шурупами было бы не хуже, а разбирать проще )
у него стенки и перегородки не демпфированы - нужно покрывать невысыхающей мастикой типа строительного герметика, чтобы при постукивании по стенке она не вибрировала на частоте собственного резонанса, и чтобы переотражений звука от перегородок внутри не было, и может быть укладывать ватин или поролон для заглушения внутреннего обьема.
и пишут, что эти динамики верх не воспроизводят, т.е. надо твиттеры добавлять, скорее всего
@@peschex0d я как то насмотревшись этих видосов тоже собрал малышей Войта с 2.5 дюймовками. Пустые внутри но басят и лишних призвуков нет. Понравилось,буду делать потолще,побольше на 4 дюймовках.
Герман, бас как бы обязан быть) а отсутствие призвуков может иметь несколько объяснений, начиная от разделения полос (если на динамик подавать только НЧ, то неоткуда взяться ступеньке давления, в ответ на которую звучали бы стенки корпуса), материала (ДСП рыхлая и резонирует меньше фанеры и доски) и даже характера воспроизводимой музыки
@@peschex0d чем больше вдаешься в ступеньки,разделения,ровность АЧХ и прочее то уходит звук и его здравое восприятие. Зато появляется маркетинг и высасывание бабла с людей. Хороший звук творят любители-практики. Очень показателен первый детский опыт Кена Ишиваты.
Герман, мой детский опыт был на 5ГДШ-4 году примерно в 80-м прошлого века ) и мне нравилось, в принципе эта колонка жива и до сих пор, как и другая на 10ГД-34 и, лол 10ГД-35 (что было явным перебором). И как самодельная электрогитара из сиденья детской лошадки-качалки, с двумя струнами и на которой я не умею играть. Но попробовать звук, ламповые усилители и фуз на транзисторах, которым сегодня больше 40 лет, было забавно. Я за забавы - во всех смыслах слова. За всё, что радует.
Но с момента моего детства сильно выросли знания в физике, поэтому я сейчас точно знаю, как это работает и почему именно, вплоть до анализа спектра того, чтО играет, и как мы это слышим.
Одно другого не исключает ) просто больше красок в палитре мира.

En bafles para conciertos sirven también ❓❔🤔💭
Por qué el aire dentro del laberinto hace que el conjunto resuene a baja frecuencia asi los graves se oyen más fuerte sin tener que usar un woofer de gran diámetro. También adentro va eliminando los medios y agudos y además pone en la misma fase de onda los graves del frente del cono con los que salen del laberinto haciendo aprovechamiento pleno
