Here’s CME’s Nathaniel Murphy channeling none other than-you guessed it!-Jimmy Page through a vintage Park 2x12 50w Combo using nothing but a Mr. Black Super Swell Classic Spring Reverb pedal.

That's a sick guitar but really my 60's Standard Les Paul sounds as good, those 1959-60 Les Paul mostly popular because of rarity and because guitar legends were using them. Give Jimmy Page or Eric Clapton modern Gibson Les Paul and they will produce the same sound. Nice playing btw.

I often get the feeling that far too many channels want people to believe that were it not for the '59 burst, there would be no good guitars. Yet I'd be willing to bet that 99% of players would never know if they were playing one or another if they were told it was also a '59 LP Standard. I liken it to the placebo effect in that we just believe. But that's just one ignorant player of many wonderful guitars.Y'all can still worship this one. 55 years and still no one has been able to make a good, or certainly better, guitar. Such a shame.

You must have less top end in your ears than I do. That’s saying something. Shards of glass. Wow. It’s a beautiful guitar. Wish the demo didn’t hurt.
The mic is giving a very different representation to what they're getting in that nice space - they often have a gnarly tone with the Benson preamp that UA-cam really isn't kind to. Same with Tone King, Magnatone and Park.
If you just jammed in front of you tube for an hour a day! You would be Filthy rich!

Gibson's are so lame, overpriced, boring and repetitive. I would never own one and have made of my friends that bought them til the got rid of them. Gibson just as cool as Harley Davidson, which is almost as cool as genital herpes.
