The speaker drivers in these are likely the same, the difference could be minor changes in suppliers for the analog treble and bass knobs. What you'll set as "0" on one may translate to +"2" or -"1" etc. on the other.
@@Ascoundrel Also you forgot to mention the so-called "bass boosted" from DB can simply be rolled over and fixed with the EQ too. Also, when I turn up the treble, the highs are there and it sounds balance. End result? Studio quality!

The lack of highs on the DB can be adjusted unlike the T w/c cannot. You can boost a bit on treble if it sounds lacking for you as well as on the bass. That is why I get the DB w/ more connectivity options.
T seems clear but lacks mid which can't be controlled. DB has mid and its lows & highs can be controlled using treble and bass knobs.. I would go with DB.
exactly my thoughts. lol. same goes with the 1700, it sounds like the bass and treble are boosted, that's why a lot of people seem to choose them over the 1280. but 1280 has more mids. treble and bass can be adjusted, but that mids from 1280, and the "airy" sound, you can't adjust that, lol. The DB sound is more realistic (noticeable on acoustic guitar), t sound is warmer. Under your ears you can always adjust the equalizer, so both are good. Как то так.
I have both of these and I would honestly recommend the db rather than the T mainly because you get more out of your money for just $30 more. Sound wise, the T is brighter but lacks midrange. Sounds like the Ts have less low-mid and upper-bass which make them sound cleaner, correct me if i am wrong but that's why people say they sound cleaner, and the bass frequencies are more separated as a result as well. So to me they sound flatter than the DB overall which for me is awesome because i want unbianed sound, ASSUMING i am correct hearing this over the old af(but extremely well carred) logitech x-230 and proper sound card setup).
I think it is the placement of the speaker. look how it changes a bit of an angle everytime the speaker changes. very minimal diff though only the treble side.
Funny, I hear the opposite: more clearance on the very top and very bottom on T, while DB is kind of bumped-up in mid-range. Surprisingly, T sounds better for me... 🤔
To my hearing it seems like DB is a little more 'closed' in a small box. Kinda bumped mid-range... it may sound cool in some cases, but in general I prefer T. Seems to be more 'open'. In the last section (bass test) it looks like the author put a little fade-in/out between changes and this tricks me into believing that some kind of embedded digital compressor/regulator is normalizing some lows in the DB versus T, but I guess this is only a jedi mindtrick. May it even be that the volumes where not exactly the same?
Thank you for doing it! And Wow... I didn't expect that difference as well... T is better for me and i'm happy with it. And again, your comparisons are the best!
I wanted to get the DB before since I thought Bluetooth would be useful but it's hands down TS for me after watching this video and it was a very easy choice. DB sounds too muffled with a narrow sound stage and more punchy lows whereas TS has a much wider sound stage, and much more accurate mids, and highs.
@@BagusWibisono 1280's, they have better drivers. Sound-wise they're just a bit better than the 1010's but I wouldn't recommend any of them for serious monitoring unless you EQ them from your PC. I have the R1280DB's and, with the help of a parametric EQ, they do sound delightful and are flat enough for some monitoring. You can read more about how to EQ them in their Audio Science Review forum entry. Anyway, if you only want them for monitoring music, and not for enjoying music, then I would recommend the Eris 3.5's, exactly the same price of the 1280's but those are way better monitors. The Eris are not that good to my taste for enjoying music as their flatness makes their sound very sterile, but for monitoring they're way better.
@Digital Stereophony Question: When you do this test, did you hook your sound source to R1280DB through 3.5 mm - RCA cable or through bluetooth connection?
The T's are going to wooo the rap guys.. I prefer a more balanced (unexciting) sound because the harshness of the T's will fatigue my ears.. Yes the DB's have more mids but on vocal tracks and rock.. Thats what you want..
Sounds like the DB has some kind of "depth" applied onto the sound - an effect I see applied more and more on radios and speaker systems... which I don't like.
Like you mention in the desc. The T model actally sounds clearer. Noticed it espessially from 0:30 to 0:45 ish, instruments souds clearer and more distinkt overall. On the DB the guitars espesially are more muffled sounding.
Awesome comparo! Its R1280DB for me. It has more pronounced lows and mids, which is excellent for hard rock and metal. Both are brilliant for their price though.
Honestly, we simply don't know how long was the burn in period for each. I hardly think that these speakers have any differences beside the BT capability. They look exactly the same, spec exactly the same, why would they have different parts inside? So I think that difference we hear in the sound here is due to the different amount of usage.
Both these speakers have no mid-range driver, only a woofer and tweeter. Speakers like this often have a problem reproducing mids. The clarity you're hearing in the older model 1280T is just a dip in the midrange relative to the newer one which tries to have more mid punch. (That punch is probably just EQ: it's exactly the same speaker). For the 1280T they say 75 hz to 18 kHz response, +/- 9db. That's a big range of dB! For the 1280DB they spec 55 Hz to 20 kHz at +/- 6db. Wider and somewhat flatter. The updated DB is better value. T has only RCA inputs; DB does Bluetooth, plus it has an optical and coax input too.
The 1280DB may offer convenience of connecting through bluetooth but the price difference with the standard 1280T in my country (The Netherlands) is a whopping 50 Euro's. Value wise I'd get the standard version any day.
There's a good reason near-field monitors in major recording studios typically only have a woofer and a tweeter. Adding a "mid-range" only adds more crossover points and the fact that any "woofer" 8-inches or smaller can accurately reproduce all the midrange frequencies you need. It's obviously the lower frequencies that are harder to reproduce, but cabinet designs extend the lower frequencies of many small speakers. Bose are the geniuses in this area. I agree with you that EQ is the difference, in these two speakers. Hearing though microphone and the acoustics in the testing room doesn't help us much at our end. Also agreed, the updated DB is the better value, but only if you'll use those added features.
Ts sound has better clarity, specially in the high range, DBs sound is bit muddier. Overall I actually find DBs sound warmer, so, for music enjoyment (and probably for TV) I think DBs are better, but for monitoring I'll go with Ts, although I wouldn't actually recommend neither for any serious monitoring. Anyway, I think both are exactly the same hardware, just a lil' different EQ in their DSP, so, with an external EQ I'm sure you can make both of them sound exactly the same.
So the DB gets rid of some of the obvious high end brittle that I always heard on the T? That's a win. Noticeable improvement, I thought the only difference was bluetooth connectivity.
I have the R1280DB and I turned the treble all the way up and turned the bass all the way down and WOW they sound mind blowingly incredibly incredible, I will be getting a R1280T to test out but wow I’m really happy for 150
The T has the crisp high which can be toned down with the trebble. The DB can't get the crisp high despite increasing the trebble. My 1280T power transformer died & i converted it to passive speakers. Tried with an external amp & no way can the amp replace the inbuilt DSP circuit. Looks like i will buy another pair of 1280T.
Thanks for this video. The sound heard here has nothing to do with the real one. In this video you can hear the T more treble and the DB best in low. Im personally prefer DB with little more Low and 2 more conections.Im not use Bluetooth (this loses quality sound), but apreciate the coaxial and optical conections.
I'm the happy owner of the T's, but at the same time I can't believe they actually sound different. Same cabinets, same drivers I suppose, the only difference would be the amplifier. One question though, were the dBs properly burn-in? I remember that my T's needed quite a few days of listening before getting a warmer, better sound, I was wondering if that's not the issue with the dbs here.
I was suprised as well. The pair of R1280DB used here is a test pair that went through the hands of few other testers before they where sent to me, so it is well run in. I think that the additional electronics on board of R1280DB is responsible for the difference in sound but that is just my guess.
The sound of the T's is more vertically sensitive, lessening the low end while the DB's are more horizontal when playing high notes but maybe it's just me.
which one would you recommend for TV use? Most important thing is having intelligible dialogue even on relatively low volumes. Unfortunately all comparison videos focus on music so it's hard to tell. Maybe a different 2.0 speaker setup would be more suitable under $100?
Lets keep in mind that although the R1280T is the slight winner when it comes to sound, they don't have Bluetooth, Optical input and the updated remote like the R1280DB does.. So I would be willing to sacrifice the slight difference in sound for more accommodating features.
They're just too expensive, you get to buy the r1700bt for a few euros more. The issue with the R1280DB is that they're either priced too high, or the r1280t is a hell of a bargain at 90 euros their current price. Could be both...lol.
I bought the 1280DB recently based on positive reviews and I find them lacking in clarity. They sound muffled. I'd say deficient above 4k (maybe even 2Khz). Increasing the treble tone control to max helps but I wish I had maybe bought the Ts or at least listened to them before buying. (bought online), I listen to classical music.
Naaah I have the Ts and they are still muffled. If you turn up the treble knob then the cymbals sound acid. With hard rock and metal I can't hear the voice very much, it improves listening to songs with more forward vocals compared to extreme metal, such as Pink Floyd but it's still muffled and lacks a bit of 2kHz, definitely 4kHz and some 8kHz. The bass is not articulate at all. I have fixed some of these issues with an EQ, these are now bearable but it doesn't have much details both in the low end and the high end. Probably better than 50 bucks speakers but to me both are overpriced considering their quality. The Trust 2.1 system I had before, while sounding very bad, was at least better with faster bass and clearer vocals.
Glad I caught this video. Changed my order to the DBs. DB for me as the scoop in the T's would need an EQ to sort out and may still underperform. There's no mid to them that's why the treble sounds considerably clearer. DB definitely feel like they've got good solid mids but yes, the bass does muddy the mix, could do with a bit of work, easily done though by the on-device controls. Listening to the vocals was the seller for me. DB - solid vocals with punch. T - They sound thin.
It's clear that Edifier is the one to go for, price/quality. Which is the best 2.0 system for TV? Personally it would be the 2000db,but what do you think? I don't want the soundbar route anymore.
You somehow messed the test up or your R1280DBs are broken. If I listen to your video over a R1280DB, they also sound "worse" compared to the R1280T. Das doesnt mayke sense, right? If I listen to the sound tracks you used then they also sound normal and good, like the R1280T played them in the video and not "dull" like the R1280DBs in your video.
Hi! I’ve recently purchased the R1280Ts and was wondering what you would recommend for a subwoofer that would pair well with it? Kind of in the same price range if possible too. Thank you so much in advance! 😊
Fantastic demo of side by side sound demo! Seems like no real sound difference. For the DB version one has to pay a bit extra for additional optical and coaxial connections. Thanks much.
Ey.. Great comparison. I was checking out these Edifiers and landed on your channel. Nice music you have for testing too. I am interested in getting a nice pair of active speakers for listening to music (flac mostly) using my audio interface. Unfortunately I'm on a 100 bucks budget, so can't really get what I like the most. Is there any pair of speakers that beats the 1280T in this price range? I would have preferred with balanced connections, but my Scarlett Solo interface has two RCA outputs (and a TRS output for headphones), so not sure I can use balanced cables with it. Thanks and have a like from me!
100 buck price range is hard because there is also some serious compromise to accept. In this price range, except of R1280T I also like Presonus Eris E3.5 I have tested recently. I will post comparisons with E3.5 soon (R1280T will be also included) so wait a few days and You will be able to hear them Yourself. Cheers!
Don't know what to think about this test. They both sound different to me when listening however I AM using the R1280DB speakers to listen to this test and I would currently say that the T's sound better but... that wouldn't make any sense because then i'm currently suggesting that they sound better despite the fact I am using the DB's to listen to this test. So maybe they both sound exactly the same and this test is terrible. Surely they are both exactly the same speaker just one includes the bluetooth feature and the other does not?
Great test! I think the 1280db eq is flatter than the other one, it's exactly what I was looking for, I only have doubt about the volume, you know, 42w... is that enough? It helped me a Lot, though thanks a Million!
I JUST GOT THIS MODEL DB VERSION.. ITS NOT BALANCED AS YOU THINK MID IS HIGH AF... but if you know how to calibrate its a beast...as a referencing monitor..
Did you compare any of them with Edifier R1042BT(or R1080BT) ? I like the design of the second one, but I think sound is worse because of size, not sure
T remind me my dad national Hi-fi that he still use for his TV. Its has treble but basically less bass. Great for TV especially its very clear with voice. But when watching movies, it's lack the bass that give immersive explosion
Just got the DB-version today and I need to say I LOVE THEM !!!! I used to listen to budget pc speakers to max. 30 Euro from Creative But I need to say listening via Bluetooth decreases the sound quality so much, so in this case, the Bluetooth feature is useless. I would recommend just to get the T version.
I've had some trouble choosing as well , but ultimately I've went with the DB mainly because my PC's motherboard has digital output, price difference was like 20 euro so yeah.. No regrets I'll tell you that. It's true it does slightly lack that top-end sparkle, but I feel it has a great overall sound quality after tweaking the EQ a little bit. I mainly bought them for gaming because I've had enough of my portable BT speaker that I was using and I'm pretty sure you just can't find something better than these if you're on a 100 euro budget. It just craps on the so-called "gaming" systems from Genius, Logitech or the newly Razer Nommo in this price range. I don't know how good the T's would've been in games, but maan I tell you, you do feel in your chest the shootings in Overwatch or the crisp of my combo rotation in World of Warcraft xD
Great ! I am using an lg sl4 soundbar as my pc speakers through digital out. I too got great quality audio after tweaking the eq on my pc. Are you using apo equaliser?
for first person shooters, i really recommend headspeaker. you can hear much better whats around you, and when ur brain is trained on it, u basically can hear the direction of a single shot with an accuracy of 10 degrees, and if there is a follow up shot, i can have an accuracy of less then 5 degree. in teamgames one can literally pinpoint enemy position just from you looking at the gunshot noises and a teammate as well, and you seeing where friendly looks on minimap, so you can draw 2 imaginary lines on minimap and know where enemy is.
@@certaindeath7776 yep I know for games especially fps ones, headspeakers are the way to go but the problem is I am one of (probably) rare cases that simply cannot use headspeakers for more than 1 hour at most. Getting ear fatigue/headache pretty quick and Ive tried them all, light ones heavy ones light clamp force doesn’t matter. Idk how others can sit 10 hours straight with them lol. As for shelf speakers I have upgraded to edifier 1700s. So much better for an extra 20-30$.
@@georgesaraskeris3447 yeah, day and night difference for only 30$ or so. I don’t need anything more premium for my use case as far as 2 stereo speakers goes. If I want to go audiophile I got my sennheiser 600 coupled with a DAC
Odd. The T sounds more balanced, better treble but not too tinny. The DB sounds a bit more muffled. Bass and mids sound about the same with both to me. Good video comparison. If this is accurate to my ears, I would go with the T.
Nope... I think you need to listen more carefully at the Man on Fire track... DB has better dynamic, T totally loses at mids and keeps tweeting highs, very imbalance and harsh.
I've been looking for a pair of not expensive "monitors". Now, before I get told that these are not monitors I just want to make clear that I monitor my recordings and mix my music with a good pair of headphones that I have (the room hasn't been acoustically treated and no point in doing it as I only rent this place, ergo no point in buying real studio monitors). What I'm really looking for is an option that allows me to hear myself while recording (just for the sake of timing really) as spending too much time with the headphones makes my ears tired. Also, would like to have a reference speaker to see how my mixes sound in a "regular divece" (just dont wanna go all the way go to the car to see how my music sound in those speakers). So, just for the purposes mentioned above, would the R1280DB be appropriate? Thanks
apart from the digital inputs, is there a difference in sound? Please help I am between these two. The speakers I have now don't help me hear any difference
On the jazz track db sounded warmer and richer but with enough details in the highs. T was a bit harsch. On vocals the T were more open and clearer sounding. Will get the db's. Thank you.
I appreciate the effort, but an A / B sound test like this for audio is always going to be limited (aka contaminated) by what you're listening to the comparison through; which is going to place it's own audio fingerprint onto what you hear.

Hi! I am happy You enjoy my content :) Regarding Your question, I would not recommend either and say to go with Edifier R1700BT instead. Mackie CR4 is rather bad speaker IMO, with boomy bass and vailed midrange. Edifier Luna is more of a stylish accessory that happens to play music well, but again it has very dark midrange making the voices harder to understand. R1700BT has punchy and well extended bass, clear and forward upper midrange and treble, good overall build quality and nice features like remote control and Bluetooth connectivity. R1700BT will be a good fit for Your room and needs ;)
you are sure level of sound for my games serie film and music is better eclipse or cr4 bt? and also i saw 1800bt and in my budget do you think it is better or then prosenus eris 4.5 can you tell me if it is better still? on the other hand eris and above the budget but if it is worth the cost I can make an effort edify jadore because it has a telecomande and I can settle the low expensive me the evening is useful thank you for your previous answer jadore your videos

Mmm let me guess... Model "T" sounds clearer because the lack of mids? And model "DB" is way more balanced?
Kinda
nope, in life you need to turn down the BASS on the T as well, so the DB is waaay off ;)
@@nuke7 hi man, which one I would choose, R1280T or R1010BT ? For home recording, I need the sound as clean and detail.
@@BagusWibisono 1280T definitely.
1010 has only half the power and less options to fine tune the sound (only bass knob on the back)
@@BagusWibisono 1280's, they have better drivers.
Edifier R1280T pleasant than R1280DB. Thanks for comparing both.
T stand out more “alive” , well balanced.
DB tend to be low on high.
T suits me better. I like clarity. 😁👍
Т лучше, имхо)
Yes low on the High and Mid highs agreed.
Awesome comparo! Its R1280DB for me. It has more pronounced lows and mids, which is excellent for hard rock and metal. Both are brilliant for their price though.
I would be very interested in the difference in quality when using the build in bluetooth - did you make any tests in this matter?
Digital Stereophony
"I find R1280T a bit clearer sounding".. You're right. I heard the same thing. Good comparison.
Honestly, we simply don't know how long was the burn in period for each. I hardly think that these speakers have any differences beside the BT capability. They look exactly the same, spec exactly the same, why would they have different parts inside? So I think that difference we hear in the sound here is due to the different amount of usage.
@@log791 Specs are different. Go check it. pff..
Didn't expect these to sound so different. Might get the DB because it's on sale for less than the T, and it sounds possibly 'fuller'.
R1280T beats in every aspects. Is it worth the giving up quality over connection? I don't think so. Great review as always.
T has only RCA inputs; DB does Bluetooth, plus it has an optical and coax input too.
would you choose the 1280db over the 1700db?
Yea i like speakers with a mid-range driver.
@@janruudschutrups9382 weet je toevallig nog waar je die prijs gevonden hebt? Ik kan ze op dit moment alleen rond de 90 vinden. alvast bedankt!
Listening to this on my R1280DBs' definitely well balanced and worth the purchase!
I have the R1280DB and I turned the treble all the way up and turned the bass all the way down and WOW they sound mind blowingly incredibly incredible, I will be getting a R1280T to test out but wow I’m really happy for 150
1280DB got more balanced sound
Thanks for this great video for comparing. I"m beginning the think the "T" is for treble and "DB" for deeper bass!
yup. agree.
DB bass is more direct,
The T has the crisp high which can be toned down with the trebble. The DB can't get the crisp high despite increasing the trebble. My 1280T power transformer died & i converted it to passive speakers. Tried with an external amp & no way can the amp replace the inbuilt DSP circuit. Looks like i will buy another pair of 1280T.
now it`s hard to decide. T version sounds better, but only DB version comes in BLACK color.
same dilemma im in 😂
Considering getting some of these speakers now, and that was one of the factors in my decision too....
same with me😭
Cual es mejor para su opinión saludos?
best video you ever made
please only compare speakers that sound very similar to each other
not small plastics vs big woofers
I think that the additional electronics on board of R1280DB is responsible for the difference in sound but that is just my guess.
db a bit more flat, better for production imo..
did you wired the DB model with sp/dif or rca ?
The sound of the T's is more vertically sensitive, lessening the low end while the DB's are more horizontal when playing high notes but maybe it's just me.
which one would you recommend for TV use? Most important thing is having intelligible dialogue even on relatively low volumes. Unfortunately all comparison videos focus on music so it's hard to tell. Maybe a different 2.0 speaker setup would be more suitable under $100?
Excellent job you do here. May I ask, are these considered studio monitors for DJ’ing/producimg/mixing?
Lets keep in mind that although the R1280T is the slight winner when it comes to sound, they don't have Bluetooth, Optical input and the updated remote like the R1280DB does.. So I would be willing to sacrifice the slight difference in sound for more accommodating features.
Thanks for the clarification. I need Bluetooth, so for me R1280DB is the way to go.
They're just too expensive, you get to buy the r1700bt for a few euros more. The issue with the R1280DB is that they're either priced too high, or the r1280t is a hell of a bargain at 90 euros their current price. Could be both...lol.
You can add a bluetooth receiver on the T.
This helped me decide. Thanks a lot for making this!
@Donna Peroche Fuck off.
@Donna Peroche why so toxic :D
@Donna Peroche And you are a beautiful person it seems!
I think not 'muffed' but like the 'stereo room effect' i.e. some echoing, it is very clear in the metal piece, not so much in the others.
Hi Digital Stereophony! When you are testing your speakers what is the levels of Bass and Treble on the knobs of the speaker?
Always on neutral
Glad I caught this video. Changed my order to the DBs.
DB for me as the scoop in the T's would need an EQ to sort out and may still underperform. There's no mid to them that's why the treble sounds considerably clearer.
DB definitely feel like they've got good solid mids but yes, the bass does muddy the mix, could do with a bit of work, easily done though by the on-device controls.
Listening to the vocals was the seller for me.
DB - solid vocals with punch.
T - They sound thin.
Just a great job buddy…!
Be well, good luck…!
It's clear that Edifier is the one to go for, price/quality.
Which is the best 2.0 system for TV? Personally it would be the 2000db,but what do you think?
I don't want the soundbar route anymore.
R2750DB
I'm listening to this with my Edifier R1280T lmao
Me too lmao
You somehow messed the test up or your R1280DBs are broken. If I listen to your video over a R1280DB, they also sound "worse" compared to the R1280T. Das doesnt mayke sense, right? If I listen to the sound tracks you used then they also sound normal and good, like the R1280T played them in the video and not "dull" like the R1280DBs in your video.
Hi! I’ve recently purchased the R1280Ts and was wondering what you would recommend for a subwoofer that would pair well with it? Kind of in the same price range if possible too. Thank you so much in advance! 😊
More treble on the T. Deeper on DB. Thats why you hear it more clearer on T. It was on the own prefference though
Cheers!
For Classic track DB has more natural sound.
Were both speakers set Flat with Bass and Treble?
Don't know what to think about this test. They both sound different to me when listening however I AM using the R1280DB speakers to listen to this test and I would currently say that the T's sound better but... that wouldn't make any sense because then i'm currently suggesting that they sound better despite the fact I am using the DB's to listen to this test. So maybe they both sound exactly the same and this test is terrible. Surely they are both exactly the same speaker just one includes the bluetooth feature and the other does not?
Hi. Thanks a lot..Your bass test impulse me to buy Edifier 1280T
I'm in the market for these. I think DB fix the bright T making it a little bit mature between the two. My choice is DB
Great test! I think the 1280db eq is flatter than the other one, it's exactly what I was looking for, I only have doubt about the volume, you know, 42w... is that enough?
It helped me a Lot, though
thanks a Million!
The power is more than enough. R1280DB can pump some serious levels ;)
I JUST GOT THIS MODEL DB VERSION.. ITS NOT BALANCED AS YOU THINK MID IS HIGH AF... but if you know how to calibrate its a beast...as a referencing monitor..
Do these make a loud popping noise when turning off or turning on?
No. It even has soft start delay for like a split second w/c I think a built in feature of its class D amp.
Would these pack enough punch to be used on the patio while BBQ'ing ??
Did you compare any of them with Edifier R1042BT(or R1080BT) ?
I like the design of the second one, but I think sound is worse because of size, not sure
the DBs sound too muddy to me
please do a comparison with micca mb42x and edifier r1280db
Which Is better for rap, rock and classics?
For ME the 1280T i purchased seem to have too much low end sometimes -
The bass on the R1280T's is so good. I can't shake it
DB is more full bodied while T is more forward sounding. Different palette of sound projection.
30 Euro from Creative
But I need to say listening via Bluetooth decreases the sound quality so much, so in this case, the Bluetooth feature is useless.
I would recommend just to get the T version.
Thank you Maikel. That's good to know about the Bluetooth.
Chose db because optical, t missing optical output
So the DB version cant be used without bluetooth?
@@Max-zk3uwyou had the 1280 and you updgrade them on 1700 ? re you happy?
@@georgesaraskeris3447 yeah, day and night difference for only 30$ or so. I don’t need anything more premium for my use case as far as 2 stereo speakers goes. If I want to go audiophile I got my sennheiser 600 coupled with a DAC
It's really nice and perfect way to know the difference between 😊... awesome and so helpful...thank you...
Which would be better for epic music like two steps from hell? thanks.
Where can i get for the music title deep ?
Thanks
Is there any noticeable sound loss if you buy the T model, and buy a digital out to RCA converter to my TV (no rca)? Thank you so much
Overall T sounds better in terms of clarity than DB. decent bookshelf speakers
T= treble
DB= deep base
LOL
lol is that so? I mean sounds legit lol
apart from the digital inputs, is there a difference in sound? Please help I am between these two. The speakers I have now don't help me hear any difference
On the jazz track db sounded warmer and richer but with enough details in the highs. T was a bit harsch. On vocals the T were more open and clearer sounding. Will get the db's. Thank you.
what should I set the bass and treble positions in R1280t? Is there any combination that works for all the genres?
I appreciate the effort, but an A / B sound test like this for audio is always going to be limited (aka contaminated) by what you're listening to the comparison through; which is going to place it's own audio fingerprint onto what you hear.
hello I follow your chain for over 1 year.
I love the attention and details you bring to your test whether it's on UA-cam or your website.
and i would like some advice from you that would be the cr4 vs edifier luna.
my use and multimedia finally 40% games 30% film and music I am demanding without being forced.
The cr4 I saw that you said it was slightly colored me I like it but the power and it suffisante? you talk about saturation.
luna or cr4?I like bass with striking bass and voices asser forward for my games and movie I do not know I think you can see it can get what I need luna ou cr4? is bedroom 11m2.
I am French so sorry if I express myself badly thank you in advance.
I guess these are near field, but what can be the maximum distance of the listener ??
