Fishing Tavernier Florida March 24th 2023

My Wife and I had an 8 day cruise out of Miami leaving the 25th , We decided to spend 2 nights in the Keys . I brought (2) Travel rods Penn Pursuit 4000 Combo and Bass Pro reel on a Kast King telescoping rod. We stayed at Island Bay Resort with our own private beach and dock to fish from. I picked up frozen bait from Eddys bait and tackle . I managed to catch quite a few fish with a dropper loop rig , then focused on Bobber fishing after trying Jigs and poppers with no results. Met a new fishing buddy from Boston , his Wife explained he had been skunked , so i offered for him to join me and he caught fish .
