George Harrison wrote 25 songs for the Beatles. Among them, my favorites are - WITHIN YOU WITHOUT YOU, SOMETHING, WHILE MY GUITAR GENTLY WEEPS, HERE COMES THE SUN, LOVE TO YOU.
While my guitar... So very much a favourite of mine too. No matter who's cover I listen to, it's always brilliant. This best I've seen to date was at a Peter Frampton show, with guest appearance from Joe Bonamassa. It's on youtube, and I recommend head phones for getting the best of it. Oh and if like me, music goes far deeper than just a mode thing. you'll probably need tissues. This is one that easily send tears down my cheeks. TTFN>
The last one it's from Revolver. And the real name is...😏 ( just playing...)😬Savoy truffle and Taxman and the inner light , sounds better with headphones and a good 21century remix . Take care
The song 'Isn't it a pity' off Harrisons 'All things must pass' album was turned down by the beatles, sums up Harrisons way of thinking best. Beautiful song and lyrically one of his finest.
The song was made intentionally like a Mantra, a repeated sound on loop to provoque a spiritual higher situation . He was the Beatles led guitar. He did transcendental meditation on a monastery in Himalayas. He was still deeply involved when he did this record ☯️✌
I love George’s expression of spirituality in this song. It takes a universalist approach. Different cultures reaching out to God in their own way with different names and traditions, but it’s the same God regardless. That’s where you get the Hallelujah versus Hare Krishna etc. Love it!
I like your video and your reaction❤. So thank you very much! Can you make a reaction video about Earth & fire? Earth & fire is a Dutch rock and pop band active in 60s-80s. They belong to my youth. Bless you.❤
Enjoyed this Randi ... I've never been a big fan of The Beatles and for me personally George Harrison had the best voice and was possibly the underrated one ... One of his most famous compositions was "Here Comes the Sun" and was probably one of the best Beatles songs ... if you can find it I'm sure you would enjoy it ... thanks for this
May God bless you George ❤
He is singing the praises of all great spirit guides to humanity ❤
more george please! all things must pass, beware of darkness, when we was fab, blow away, learning how to love you!

Agreed. The live version at his tribute concert was sublime 🙂

Another great song from George is "What Is Life?"
Thank you. I like the way you appreciate music. I'm a fan!
George was said something to the effect of "God doesn't matter what you call him, he just wants you to call. "
My Sweet George ❤❤❤
