Nice systematic troubleshooting - great job! Those solenoids in the bottom of the carb have to open or it wont run. For 20 bucks, it's a no brainer buying a new carb.
I ordered a replacement carb, part 594593 from Briggs and Stratton, it came with a different solenoid with a different connector so my original connector won't hook up to it. I would have thought they would include the new wire connector with it.
hi great video except camera moving alot..id appreciate your help i have an older ARIENS 42 gear riding mower..replacing the carb the link (wire) goes on the BLACK choke lever, and choke works, but the throttle when hooked up does NOT move at all when i push the throttle lever up and down..i can only move the throttle little lever by hand...if i push it outward (the throttle lever where wire attaches at carb), then it will move, otherwise it wont get enough gas to run right..any suggestions? the wire did not fall off except on mine both the thin and thick wires go into same hole on throttle carb silver lever,,HELP!!
Thank you great video. I have the same Ariens mower. The magnets on the flywheel drop off the flywheel while in use. I order new flywheel. Unfortunately, now the mower won't start. I discovered that the magnets on the new flywheel are not magnetized. The seller is not answering my call. Could you tell me if the a new flywheel magnets have to be magnetize before installing?
LMFAO. So I looked it up based on the "KELCH" on the plastic loop thing. Apparently, it's supposed to be tied to the cap and allows the cap to dangle from the rope. But it seems most people yank on it and the rope snaps. So you have this ring with a string floating around in your gas tank. I pulled the tank out and shook it upside down to get it out. It was almost impossible to get it out any other way.
respectfully, vdo dis-appointing as trying to get a good look at top of original carb, but you kept moving around & finger obstructing view (in poor lighting, too, not filling frame & have close up shot) Thanks just the same
From Kia the ticking time bomb to laptops to lawn mowers. There is nothing CP cant fix. Good stuff man
Hahaha appreciate it 🙏
Wow, you really are amazing. There isn’t anything you can’t fix.
Thank you =)
Thanks so much. I hope this fixes my mower.

So that's what ruins the carb?
Thanks
Thank you ☺️

What is that plastic ring thing in your gas tank with the string rope? I have that in mine and no clue what that thing is?
