hi sara. is sewing really hard to do ? because i been wanting maybe try to get into to save money on bedding. like hammocks and stuff. also i have a question. do i have to wait to get my ferrets distemper vaccine to be able to take them on walks or even on the shady cool days outside in their playpen?
Happy Mother’s Day to a fellow fur baby mum. I was wondering we do not have a vet in our area that will see our Little Ferret “SweetPea” and we think he might have hairballs do you have suggestions on what we can do? We would really appreciate any advice. Thank you. Stay safe healthy and happy ❤️✝️🇺🇸
Happy Mother’s Day to you too! 💐 I am not sure if you can get a hold of ferret lax or Vaseline, but both can help with hair balls. Although I would keep an eye on it because hairballs can be life-threatening and if it doesn’t get better you may need to try and find a vet. I know that’s not easy and I know that they can be hard to find, especially in rural areas or areas I just don’t have exotic vets. The coughing could also be signs of a couple other things especially if it’s persistent. I put links to a forum and a website that talks about hairballs/remedies/prevention. Personally, I brush my Ferrets at least or twice once a week especially during shedding season. I also give salmon oil to help keep things moving, especially during shedding season. Fortunately I have not had any problems with hairballs and I’m really hoping that I don’t in the future. It can be scary. I’m also hoping that you’re a little baby feels better and that it’s not a hairball or anything major. I’m keeping my fingers crossed and saying a little prayer. 🥰🙏 Here are the links I mentioned holisticferretforum.com/natural-diet/raw-diet-the-meat-of-the-site/raw-eggs/raw-egg-for-hairball-prevention/
