Akhenaten's statue looked at me in the Luxor museum. The feeling was intense. After having an accident and falling downstairs, I moved my papyrus likeness of him to my stairs. Now whenever I go up and down stairs, I feel protected.
Hey, what about all the world famous silent movie stars, such as Laurel & Hardy, Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, little Shirley Temple etc., being turned into nowadays' people if they were born about 100 years later, wearing today's clothes??? Greetings from Germany!
Interesting video! However, I think a title change is in order. Many of these are not historical figures. They are fictional characters or religious figures that cannot be accurately physically represented because they never physically existed.

Why are Nefertiti and Akhenaten black? They are brother and sister that had a son, king Tut, whose haplogroup places him as most closely related to Western Europeans. How’d did two black people have a white son? Very interesting
@@historiclytv Hi. Thank you for responding. The image of Akhenaten shows the statue with a thinner nose and thinner face. The image of Jesus is way off from the painting. I believe the Shroud of Turin may be the actual face of Jesus. This would have been a better choice. Ok, using Elizabeth Taylor's face to the image you say is Cleopatra ruined the entire video. I was disappointed. I am a subscriber.😃 No one knows what Juliet Capulet looks like because she isn't real. The face of Apollo is very androgenous. Why did you put in a painting of Lilith? Tia facial features is a little bit off from the statute. The Mona Lisa painting and the facial recreation both look like paintings. All the recreations are spot on. Especially, David, Mozart, *Mary Shelley, Queen Elizabeth I, Fayum, Kimg Tut, and Aphrodite. I hope this helps.
@@historiclytv If u dont mind, i would also point out that using faces of actors is misleading. I felt the same disappoint when i saw Taylor here as Cleopatra, didnt know someone else disliked it as well. Not to mention "Jesus" and "Lilith", twisted - and putting the entire video at the risk of losing credibility. Anyway, me personally i like the "Greek fish wife" (as someone named her here somewhere) real Cleopatra more than Taylor, whose look, with all of the makeup and acting training, didnt click with Cleopatra's vibe.
@@yafayafa9601 I agree with your criticisms of this video. Usually they do better facial reimaging not with this one. Hopefully they'll do better in the future.
Sorry, but I have some issues with this... 1) enough with the CE and BCE crap, please. 2) Egyptians were not and are not subsaharan African/black. 3) ALL Christians, not most, believe that Jesus is God Incarnate. It's, like, the major tenet of Christianity to believe that. 4) Many of these are not historical figures and lastly 5) What the hell did you do to Mozart?
Cleopatra was most likely of European descent because the Tolamy Pharaoh's of Egypt were basically of Greek origin after Alexander the Great took over as the Pharaoh of Egypt. Tolami was one of the generals of Alexander the Great who succeeded Alexander the Great as Pharaoh of Egypt after the death of Alexander the Great. They were Greeks and we know that her family had a lot of incest going around for generations to keep that throne within their family where brothers marrying their sisters and 1st cousins marrying first cousins for generations within this family. So what are you going to expect what Cleopatra to look like if she's from a prominent Greek family?

Mona Lisa was rendered nicely. She was pleasing to look at.
Thank you I think Mona Lisa was one of the best transformation.
A middle eastern looking Jesus portrait would of been more accurate.
Take a look at Cesare Borgia. Explains a lot.
A very successful, good video, so you can form an image of the personalities of the story. who actually made the music?
The mention fictional in the narration. It's still cool to see artworks brought to life.
