  • Yes, it's sometimes hard to get up early and go workout, but I do it anyway. That's the key, show up! Yesterday I talked a bit about techniques I use to get through sticking points where I might be stuck at a certain weight and rep count for two weeks in a row. Besides what I mentioned yesterday, another technique is 'micro-loading' which is just adding a very small amount of weight like 1.25 or 2.50lbs instead of 5-10lbs. The key is progression no matter how small. On another note, I had a first today, a bloody nose after a heavy set. It's never happened to me before. I guess that is what a 300lb bench will do to ya lol. No other issues have that one set. 19 days until my band Pillar rocks again. Let's go!
