Hello, I have a question, is it possible, after watching only these lessons of the Khan of the Academy, to take sat? I am a foreigner, so I ask. Do I need to learn organic chemistry?
@@fairyland6855 Hmmm, I don't think SAT offers a Chemistry test; they canceled the subject test part. If you want to take the nationalized test, you should definitely check out AP exams. Edx and Khan Academy have AP Chemistry course vids which are great for studying. If you understand the course content, you can definitely get a 5 on the AP exam just by watching the videos. Also, I don't think organic chemistry is a thing for nationalized tests, although I am not sure. SAT only includes Math and Reading.
Vern Terrell ikr they made me grasp a topic in just a few minutes that I've been trying to understand for bout a week from my teacher. I still don't understand my teacher
The Greatest Of Our Generation crash course is a bit too fast really I mean you still learn stuff from it by replaying it until it sinks in but khan academy is just better in my opinion.
Sal is amazing. So is chemistry. I really really wish my school teacher could teach chemistry like this. Unfortunately, he didn't and the chemistry class for me turned out to be all about memorising the periodic table, drawing the structure of all molecules. Never thinking about why and how. I then became a computer science engineer. At the age of 36, which is right now, I realise my real passion is in chemistry. For all the students who are reading this, sometimes the teacher is just not good and please try to learn from somewhere else. Don't lose your curiosity about the world. I lost it when I was so young and I want to find it back right now.
I'm currently learning chemistry in school and this opened my eyes to the topic!! I have been struggling and hating chemistry but I realize that although my chem teacher is nice she's not a good teacher whatsoever.

People who are just starting out in Chem101 typically do ignore the periodic table because they have seen it most of their lives (me included in the beginning). I think a goal that all introductory teachers should have is making The Table mystifying again. It's one of those things that you will never see the same way once it is accurately explained to you.

Its interesting how we’ve separated them. Because there’s overlap sometimes. Its mentioned in the video how there is overlap. And then the neurons in the brain, there is a lot of potassium and sodium stuff going on which I am still learning about. Ions, positive charges, negative charges. It would be be good to have a theory of everything.
