Gonna order one next week, often work in environments with hazardous obstacles like black mold and asbestos
Than your company should be furnishing this, if anything at least the filters....
I luv this design I can't wait to get some of y'alls awesome gear
Their designs are just copies of Czechoslovakian masks. Buy a surplus mask. You'll save money. These are extremely overpriced.
Good gear, good luck getting it. I ordered 1 mask ,1 pouch ,1 extra filter 7 weeks ago. Lead time at time of purchase was 4 weeks. I'm now told by Mira it could be several more weeks. They will not fulfill my order. I'm just down the road from them in San Antonio. They wouldn't even allow me to drive to Austin and pick up my order. Unacceptable. Buyers beware.
Hi Brian, thank you for your order, and sorry for the delay. We usually ship the same day, but considering the situation in Europe and exponentially higher volumes, we're running much longer lead times (aside from delays in getting products into the warehouse from Europe). We do not have a customer-facing retail location in Austin, just a warehouse that is not open to the public. We are in the process of creating a retail location and will announce it to our subscribers once it's ready. If you'd like for me to look into your order, send an email to support@mirasafety.com and ask to speak with Brad Miller. Thank you for your patience.
That's because MIRA is a complete scam. These are simply re-marketed eastern block masks that have been marks up ×4 it's actual value. Don't buy from them.
“Yeah-yeah, that’s cool and all”
“But can I connect a bong to it?”
“Asking the real questions”
Hey, it's a free country ;-)
😂
Could ya'll please make side Rifle Plates armor I've been waiting ever since ya'll made the front and back plates Thank you.
Working on it. Stay tuned!
In stock now if you haven't checked back in a while
You guys should consider making this but without adverts and with that music from the shorter ad it would be 🤌🤌🤌
It would be nice if your TAPR accessory comms can have the option to connect to a smart phone.
Using airpods separately should have the exact same effect if you want to speak to your phone. Your voice should still be able to be heard speaking through the mask. The are also blue tooth enabled ear pro you get for range usage. As far as serious tactical comms equipment, these are specially adapted for those such as push to talk or microphones.
🔥
So my question is, with the Priceline being similar to the CM7 what are the pros and cons going to be? I expect a few of the obvious ones. But I wonder which of these would be better for the concerned citizens.
Biggest pro to the TAPR is that's it's small, lightweight, and takes 40mm NATO threaded filters. It's more practical for EDC than a full-face respirator considering it can pack away easily into a purse or backpack. Another big pro is compatibility with helmet systems, making it more comfortable to use while at the shooting range. Lead inhalation is a big concern for frequent shooters, and we want to normalize respirator use during training. Beyond respiratory protection, there is the added benefit of simulating combat conditions during training considering added breathing resistance. At the end of the day, the best mask is the one you have on you when an emergency happens. The TAPR was designed to travel with you wherever you go.
@@MIRASafety I love the sound of that considering I'm an avid shooter who has been using a 3M respirator while at the range.
@@MIRASafety I look forward to seeing these compared to other high-end respirators
@@MIRASafety I love it! I used it at work when the Omicron surge hit. Needless to say, I was the only one NOT to get sick!
@@Yenecol
Nice.
I’m happy to hear you’re ok.
Donate these to the military so we can have these tactical ones
Nothing needs to be donated anywhere, these are already available to civilians. That's literally what we do haha.
That's cool. Why not make compact filters for the CM6 or CM7?
You should be able to acquire the smaller filters such as the P CAN and NBC-17 SOF in our website. Go to the TAPR page and select the filters as a separate purchase.

Sheesh 👌
You guys should make a chemical good for one of the gas masks, it would make sense too protect the rubber on the gas mask.
Whats that?
Any idea when the specialized PPE drops are gonna drop? I was told it would be April but that clearly hasn't happened.
What do you mean by "specialized" PPE? So far we have released some new products such as the Animal Ark, and soon there will be a MOPP suit
@@MIRASafety I got an email at the beginning of April stating you would be releasing "special reinforcements" PPE that would not be posted on the actual site and you could only get through email links. "First come first serve" is says.
What kind of filters are they using in this video?
They are compact filters that were designed for the TAPR platform.
@@MIRASafety Are they compatible with a CM-6M Mask?
@@Triple7Militia Yes they are. You can purchase them individually, if you'd like, on the TAPR product page.

No need, it's out now
Is there a gasmask that accommodates a full beard? I really hate shaving my soup catcher.
Only an escape hood design will fully accommodate a beard, otherwise a traditional face sealing gas mask will not.
@@MIRASafety Thanks for the reply, I'd never heard of the escape hood design. I'll look into that.
@@King-IbnDragon Escape hoods are provided and supplied to the US Congress and Senate under their desks if you look at the photos of them leaving you will see some in it.
gimmick, name a nerve agent or other chemical agent that doesn't hinder eye sight
This isn't for nerve agents...This is a particulate respirator.
@@MIRASafety what particulate threat would they encounter that a 3m p100 wouldn’t solve lol.
@@saltysailor537 now you’re arguing semantics. The filters aren’t the same, but that’s not the point. The video is a showcase of a half respirator designed to work with military equipment. You’re not getting that with a 3M
