    Thanks for this helpful video. I have three point lifting challenges with my 5030. I'm going to watch this over and over again

    I have a 5610 with Hydraulic power steering they tapped into the open control value to feed the power steering pump. I also bought a secondary set of remotes for more values and they stack on top of each other. Nice design because I have a loader and I want to run a blade with multiple cylinders. Awesome video thanks for sharing.

    Hey man I am from the UK you just saved me a fortune thank you so much. To clear something up what was originally in the groove was a flat fiber washer.. not an o ring anyway I was disappointed when I stripped mine. Anyway I got thinking and decided screw it.. so I removed the flat washer changed it for an o'ring. Bing my 3 point now holds hight goes up and down like it's on steroids.
    Keep this stuff coming man.
    Thank you again.

      I've seen two different orings when I was searching, a flat one like you described and a thick normal oring, so I don't know. Either way I guess it doesn't matter. I still have the narrow oring in and it's still working, and I know where to look if I have the problem again. It took me a while to figure out what the problem was... It seems a few others have had this same issue. Glad you got it fixed.

      Wow, glad to hear! I was definitely scratching my head on this one. Maybe the oring deteriorates over time if you had same problem, idk

      Must be common on these, few other comments said they had same issue. I couldn't find any info on it when I searched, and I scratched my head for a while figuring it out 🤣

    Excellent video! very infomative! Do you have any advice on rebuilding the remotes? Where you plugged the guage into? i have a project 6610 with two sets of remotes on the back. They have levers on the side and appear to only let fluid flow to the remotes when they are in the horizontal position.. I thought they just locked the coupler into place...anyway After repairing other issues i finally got it started and plugged a hay rake into the remotes to test them i seem to have good pressure and flow but oil leaked heavily out of the remotes. Messicks shows a replacement piece around $600. i was hoping to take it apart and just rebuild / replace seals etc has any one had luck finding parts other than the $2400 option from Messicks

      There's a flat Teflon type oring that goes in the remote coupler. You might can use a regular oring if you can find one the correct size that will get you by for a little while. That's what I did. Risk of cutting the regular oring when plugging in remote though. That's the only info I have as that's the only other thing I ran into.

    Great video! Tractor hydraulics are new to me so I have a question I have a 6610 and the top value and the remotes on yours look the same I want to add more remotes on the back and a front-end loader where do I connect/tie in the hydraulic supply and return lines to?

      @LifeWithChase  Рік тому

      My loader runs off of the remotes. I think there's a aftermarket kit to add additional remotes but I don't know anything about it. You could also run existing remote through spool valve and power beyond port from spool valve to loader valve and use the spool valve for remote hydraulics. I think there might be a few other ways also. I might try to add some remotes in the future...

    Chase, where did you purchase the pressure tester to hook into the hydraulic coupler? Or did you throw it together yourself?

    • @LifeWithChase

      Put it together myself.

      @LifeWithChase what all parts needed to do that? I need to do one for my tractor.

    What position did you move the operating handle to? I made up a gauge like yours and would only pressure up in the rearward position. Neutral or forward gives me no pressure.

    • @LifeWithChase
      @LifeWithChase  Рік тому +1

      Pressure swaps to the opposite port when you move the lever to the other position and neutral is no pressure on either.

    Hi. The missing o-ring isn't rubber. It's some kind of fiber ring, flat ring.

    • @LifeWithChase
      @LifeWithChase  Рік тому +1

      The one I seen a picture of, still in the package was just a thick rubber o ring. They may have changed it at some point idk. I still have the o ring that's to small in it currently, and it's still working good. I used regular o rings on the quick connects also because I didn't have the White hard flat ones and so far they seem to be working ok also.

    messicks is the best for tractor parts, I've rebuilt 2 Kubota tractors using their site.
