2024 Port Orford Trip, April

A gathering of Flagg-Hoppers happened at Port Orford, Oregon this past weekend. Patty, Nathan, Steve, Brian & Nicole came down from Idaho. Ken came down Saturday from Oakridge. Kelly rode down with Leta and me on Friday... and Liz, Jaxon, Cierra and Kyron also made it down for the weekend.
Kacy and Matt hosted dinner Friday at their place near Sixes. On Saturday morning we all met at the Sixes Grange to check out the flea market, which was a neat event. Nice folks, great treats and many good buys. The rest of Saturday was spend wave watching, beach walking, kite flying, etc. It was a great day. Weather was better than expected, so that was a big plus too.
We checked out the elk herd at Dean Creek near Reedsport on the way down to Port Orford, and on the way back we stopped briefly in Bandon, Winchester Bay and finished off with dinner at Mo's in Florence. Life is good.
