Although some will certainly defect, threats to their families back at home will compel many of the survivors to go back to the DPRK. Question I have, is when they get back, whether the regime will be able to "reeducate" them back into submission, or whether word would spread about their experiences overseas in ways Kim doesn't like. Very hard to really know for sure because things are so secretive over there

Ben Hodges, has said from the outset of the war: Ukraine will not survive if Crimea stays in Russian hands. The Sea of Azov and The Black Sea coastal cities of Ukraine will be forever at the mercy of the Russian navy if Ukraine does not control Crimea. It is also a pity and would be a hard pill to swallow to imagine Ukraine losing one its most beautiful regions which is the vacation spot for the Ukrainians.

I think you’re wrong in your assessment of China taking Taiwan. America would intervene immediately militarily not just support. America should tell the world any country who decides to invade or declare war on anyone America will join every war on the side of democracy. And I mean real democracy not just claims of democracy.

First a question and then a thought: Is it possible China might find it concerning sea drones like the ones used by Ukraine might obliterate their navy ? Given sea drones might impact China's ability to land onto Taiwan, I think China might be frozen from attacking Taiwan. I'm not sure why this isn't talked about more. Ukraine has sunken 33% of Russia's black sea fleet, I think Taiwan could sink all of China's invasion fleet given their resources and technology.
First I would say China should fear this and second I don’t think China would just attack Taiwan they would probably attack US fleet near by. Which would be fatal for them and Russia. Remember Pearl Harbor didn’t turn out good for the axis of evil.

What happened was a reinterpretation around what constitutes collective defense-whether protecting foreign vessels carrying Japanese nationals would constitute self-defense. The lack of combat experience is not going to work out well for these North Korean Soldiers against the battle tested Ukrainians. I can definitely see this as a chance for the North Korean soldiers to also desert or defect while outside of their countries borders.
