Lovely but did you forget your edges or do you prefer them to be left? Personally I like my edges covered the same as the geode to look nice and finished off. But still beautiful indeed, well done!
Haha I painted them black after shooting the video! I prefer it sometimes left but after editing and looking at them more it bothered me and I decided to paint them 😂 sometimes I really love it left. Truly depends on if the client wants it.
I also work very long hours and it’s hard getting shots of my work during daylight hours so sometimes I take videos and post and then change those little details after! (UA-cam, Instagram and tik tok posting overtop of selling and making customs plus a full time career gets really busy!)
Thanks so much!! This one was made using a wooden panel from curry’s art supply 🥰🥰 I personally didn’t sand it. I usually prep with white paint first, this one I did not though. Hope that helps!
Thank you so much!! I just waited about 10 minutes before I started pouring. I use Magic Resin as my brand and I find you have about a 40-45 minute window depending on how much you mix. If I want finer lines I wait a few minutes before I start pouring!
I get these ones from Curry’s Art Supply under “wooden panel” and you can hang as is (the back is like a canvas) or add hooks or hinges to them. I add hooks to most of my canvases depending on weight.
i wanna make this but i’m scared😭 i’ve got a few questions firstly did you use the epoxy hardener secondly you mixed the pigment with the resin right? and how long does it take to harden could you walk me through the process thank you!!
Hey there! I mixed the hardener and the resin 1:1 (mix for minimum 4 minutes) and add your pigments. You can mix multiple pigments together if you’re creating a custom colour too! The curing time depends on the brand of resin you are using. It’s typically toxic to touch for about 24/48 hours but it’s usually hardened after about 9-12 hours for each layer with Resin Art Flow. I just use gloves to detail if it’s earlier than a 24 hour span.
@@laibanabeel1200 I personally recommend a hand drier more. You can use a blow dried but you won’t have a lot of control over your piece if you’re moving stuff around. I found when I tried it wasn’t something that worked well enough and as a hairstylist I used a very high end drier and still was disappointed. That is all preference though, no right or wrong! 🥰
PS always wear a respirator and gloves. Don’t get it on your skin and protect your lungs. Even if a brand says it’s safe it’s not (using a room purifier will literally tell you how toxic the air is while you’re using this) so try keeping it away from your living space and somewhere with good airflow! Super important!
Amazingly beautiful......que preciosidad....thanks for sharing❤

what are the exact colors from meyspring did you use what are they called I love the blue what colors did you mix to get that?
I would like to learn how to do this
Beautiful creation!
Did you make it on plywood and what size and thickness was the plywood? Did you sand or treat the plywood?
Thanks so much!! This one was made using a wooden panel from curry’s art supply 🥰🥰 I personally didn’t sand it. I usually prep with white paint first, this one I did not though. Hope that helps!
Just wondering why you didn't clean up the sides?
I actually did after! Wondering why you’re asking me this?
What material I need? I can use wood as a frame?
So that’s just a regular piece of plywood you poured epoxy on?
I purchase my wooden panels from curry’s art supply!
Really pretty geode! Is this a thick resin or so you wait to pour it until it thickens?
Thank you so much!! I just waited about 10 minutes before I started pouring. I use Magic Resin as my brand and I find you have about a 40-45 minute window depending on how much you mix. If I want finer lines I wait a few minutes before I start pouring!
Where to get these big boards from.. And how do you hang it? Do they come ready with hinges etc
I get these ones from Curry’s Art Supply under “wooden panel” and you can hang as is (the back is like a canvas) or add hooks or hinges to them. I add hooks to most of my canvases depending on weight.
Muy lindo muchas gracias por compartir el proceso. Como se llama lo que usas para ponerle aire al cuadro. Es un soplador de cabello?
Eso es una pistola de calor....
Cuantas horas se deja secar para ponerle la resina final?
Marvelous love from Pakistan 🇵🇰 😍 ❤️
Thank you so much!!! 🥰🥰
i wanna make this but i’m scared😭
i’ve got a few questions
firstly did you use the epoxy hardener
secondly you mixed the pigment with the resin right?
and how long does it take to harden
could you walk me through the process thank you!!
and if i don’t have the orange blow thingy can i use a hairdryer?

@@EllePours thank you so much☹️🤍
Where can I find the large crystals?
I typically find my bigger ones at markets or crystal shops! The smaller ones I sometimes buy from wholesale sellers online :)

Hi what are the measurements for this? Is this for sale?
Hey there! This was a custom make, this is a 12 X 18 inches. I do have some for sale on my website! www.ellepours.ca but unfortunately not this one!
This is very close up .no one can see your work as it evolves, just bits of it .xx
This is a very old video and I was still just learning at this time.
