I've gone through many 22's, mainly because I get bored with them and I want something new. I trade or sell them while they still have value. The one rifle I have not sold or traded is my B14R. At one time I had both the steel and carbon barrel versions, I kept the steel one. It was heavier (good for bench shooting) and more accurate. The downside is they are ammo fussy when you're shooting out to 100 yds, but not as fussy at 50 yds. Fortunately, mine likes CCI SV, which is relatively cheap compared to other 22 ammo.
Thanks for your comment, at the range I see several for with the carbon barrel, most non-Benchrest shooters. One gentleman shoots his very well at 50 yards. Like you said my B14r seems to be ammo picky, I was almost going to send it back to Bergara. I have not shot my Bergara too much but maybe that will change this year. Your comment was quite informative.
I own couple Bergar center fire rifles and they shoot well, so I bought the BMR to shoot ARA this year. It is shooting well. Thanks for the content.... What rifle you using to start this year ARA Factory class????
I will be starting the year shooting my CZ457 AT-One, my first match in Factory Class will be in February at Open Grove. I purchased a Bergara BRM last week I have to wait my 10 days to pick it up. I am very interested to see how it shoots. The BMR is build totally different then the B14r. I think it also has a match chamber and I am very much looking forward to seeing how it shoots.
Yes it does have a match chamber. Mine seems to like Lapua ammo didnt find any Eley it likes as of now.... Took 2nd in the first match here in Texas so it is showing promise...... Shoot well my frind and good luck......
Yes, Kind of I guess. You have to email this gentleman and he'll put you on a list and notify you when the Joy-Pod is in. Let me make sure I can give out his email and I'll get it to you. Send me another comment if you don't hear back in a couple days.
Thanks for the video. Nice rifle.
Thanks, I am starting to really like it. More videos with this rifle to come.
