I use Charm of Amaterasu and Charm of Okuninushi as my major charms, then Charm of Inari's might, Charm of Ferocity, Charm of Dual Destruction II and Charm of Fortune II, all with Sakai Clan Armour. This build is an absolute monster. Huge amount of health, massive melee damage, and you will almost guaranteed terrify enemies with everything you do. I play on lethal which kind of nullifies a lot of the damage bonuses because you'll kill anything with less than half of these damage bonuses on lethal, but the health boosts are still good. It works better with Gosaku's armour on lethal though because it gives you a much bigger heal when you kill enemies and it's not always good to use standoff on lethal, especially against ronin, because one hit from failing a standoff is most of your health, even with your health fully maxed out
charm of inari's might is better than charm of ferocity. Especially if you fully upgrade it combined with charm of versatile skills it does way more damaged. I have tested this

Keeping the charm of Inari on all during act 1 and most of the side quests for act 2 got me to max out my bows, katanas, and all armor sets you could get up to act 2. I’m currently sitting on max bamboo, iron, yew wood and a ton of leather... and also over 7k supplies. I’m literally a walking welfare relief center...
Lmao I did this too, maxed out my Clan Samurai armour, blades and bows before even leaving the first area of the map. I always tell people who haven't played the game yet to take their time with the game and explore as much as they can so they can take advantage of hot springs, bamboo strikes, shrines to level up before moving on. The biggest gripes that I had with this game was the lack of a map key to show how many collectibles/missions are left in each area of the map and also the inability to skip cutscenes. Some side missions can get quite simple and boring. I feel like I've spent hours watching cutscenes lmao
@@predawnbobcatI'm with ya on the cutscenes, but my BIGGEST gripe is that I can't pull up my combat stats to see how many Mongols and strawhats I've slaughtered and how. Love to know how many I've taken out total.
So far the best major charms for me are: One that regenerates your health when you’re out of combat, and the one that grants you extra stuff when gathering resources. I honestly don’t know how I’m gonna part with them when I find other ones they’re just so handy
Yeah I just can't take out the charm that regenerates your health outside of combat. It's make literally no sense to not have it and for when I need more resolves I'll just find some guys to fight to get my maximum resolve back along with my max health I get back out of combat.
Charm of Toxic Demise is insanely powerful, as soon as I got it I went ahead and tested it on a group, if you're clever you can take down 4 guys with one wind chime. It's crazy useful and definitely never leaving my major charm slot.
Yes. I just hope they implement it correctly. The game doesn’t need to be harder we just need to get a chance to get things multiple times to really feel OP and have a blast like the original game with the New Game Plus, Chrono Trigger. The main character of that game used a katana as well. So cool.
I hope so! Because after you finish it, there’s literally nothing to do... would be cool if they also implemented an arena of sorts that you could have multiple duels with bosses
yesss I’ve been thinking of that since the beginning of the game. There are so many different builds it’s so tedious having to switch everything up slowly for every scenario
The game needs a new game+ so badly to take advantage of these different charms, armors and play styles. These charm combos and stuff are all great, but there isn't much to try and accomplish with them. Most of the full combo of items take the majority of the game before you have everything...once you eventually get all the charms you want there's nothing left to do.
Matt Carr I’m so close to platinum, need to “bow to ten altars” and i haven’t had the patience as I’ve done literally everything else😅new game + is a necessity for this game though bc once u unlock everything, like u said, there’s nothing left to do honestly... except the random convoy spawns but that’s it really smh
Get all inari shrines, it unlocks two charms that has combined bonuses and upgrades from minor to moderate to major then to massive maybe... Its HP+DMG and Stealth+Resolve boosts.
Combine Yuriko's keepsake (15% chance poison arrows) with the Charm of Fortune (effects with a % chance are 50% more likely to occur) and you will turn Tadayori's armor into a ranged MONSTER.
Kiarash Taherkhani because with those charms it truly makes me invincible. Also the last mission was hard, no joke, where Khotun had all those people coming after you on the ship, on hard mode that shit was hard as hell. I literally used every ghost weapon and used up all my resolve and ammo on that fight.
I’ve made ghost build which one of is picking up release toxic and other is your fear effects have %20 boost. Also u already have %30 in ghost armor. After that u pick 2 minor charm which boost %50-%50 your effects so when you drop 1 of poisonus picking up stuff(idk its name in english, thing that pulling up 1 enemy with sound distraction), so when its picking it it diea, then other is feared and run away. In that way most of the fights if there is 10 enemy, i usually kill 2-3 of them with distraction stuff , 2-3 of them running away by fear. Last ones is usually dies to my bow or killing them in smoke with chain attack usually
The best combinations do not include gold charms at all. Inari + Fortunate Return + Fortune + Rejuvenation + Resolve II + Silence seems to be the most effective thus far.
I got mine set up at Outfit: straw hat and kensei armor Charm of Shinatsuhiko Charm of Mizu-no-Kami Charm of ferocity Charm of bludgeoned Charm of fortune return Charm of Resolve ll This is hands down the best set up I use
My favourite charm combo is 2 yurikos charms combined with the one that boosts %chance on charms, so that all ranged weapons have essentially a 60% chance of poison
I was told that the charm of fortune, doesn’t add 50%, its makes it 50% more likely, meaning x% multiplied by 1.5. So dual destruction charm would be, instead of 5% chance, with the fortune charm, it would be 7.5%
My experience suggests that you are right! I ran a total Dual Destruction build (All four Dual destruction charms I got at this time plus charm of fortune) and less than half the attacks are at double damage.
The build I have is OP in lethal mode and I’m thinking about going new game plus in lethal with it. FYI new game plus is harder because enemies have more health because there’s more to get.
Had this game since 2021, still playing it today, it's so satisfying being the ghost but at the same time being patient, because people who know (Ninja Assassin) is basically my gameplay, and i get so angry when i run out of Kunai's or Black Smoke.
I can’t play without the charm that heals you when you kill people (I can’t remember it’s name). You get it really early on in ACT 1 and it’s sooo good.
Mizu no kami plus ryuunin plus kensei armor Equals kunai king build High risk high reward here It's success will depend on how well the player can perfect dodge, maybe how well they can do perfect parries as well to take advantage of the massive resolve gains(it can double with charm of silence, even more when adding charm of resolve II) and most of all How well the player can maintain a cool head throughout many enemies and their flurry of attacks
One I thought was cool was Charm of perfect landing that gives you about 2 resolve for using safe landing technique when falling from great height. So if you are going into a fight and need resolve, just find a high up place and jump from it a few times
I have one charm that gave me 70% chance to % occur, then i use 10% double damage, 20% scare enemies when set on fire, 30% to stun enemies when break stance and kensei armor, trust me is so damn OP. I basicaly just walk into enemies like a damn demon.
I had the one that gave you 50% but i thought it was 50% plus whatever percent the other charm has, so if i used the poison arrow charm that gives you 15% i thought it would give you 75% but thats not how it worked lmao
@@williammiller496 Normally it would have to say percent points or additive, if it were to add it up like that. What the game does is probably multiplicative, meaning your 15% would increase by half to a total of 22,5%.
The video is good, but I would've preffered to see it structured better. Like starting with the ones you can get by simply exploring the map, without any extra help (e.g. the need of a bow or a grapling hook) and continue with the ones related to a quest, and progressing to those linked to Act 1, 2, 3 etc.
Best end game charms are like the Inari with fully upgraded. Alone with Kensai armor and Ghost damage up charms and 2 more Kunai charm, you go in a fight Kunai and stun and then they are all just one hit away from dead, OP
The charm that increases your thrown kunai is pretty rediculous. I don't remember all the charm names, but with the Kensei armor and Kunai the game gets pretty stupid. The kunai will stun the 5 nearest enemies (and the tracking on them is rediculous!) so there's little chance you'll be hit or stunned. The armor gives a bonus to melee damage if you hit an enemy with a ghost weapon. Unlike other charms or stat boosts though, the armor isn't additive. It's multiplicative. Meaning other charms that increase melee damage get boosted. Played through the whole game on the hardest difficulty, just throw kunai, and then one shot everyone. Pick up a kunai, rinse and repeat.
There is this charm that is called amaterasu so the amaterasu is very useful everytime you kill a enemy you will get a little bit of health back that what the amaterasu does you can get the amaterasu in act one its no that far away from the golden temple
Great list of charms. My only critique would be to put them in order that you can get them. E.g. listing the first Charm of Nigihayahi towards the end since its in act 3 etc.
It is funny you don't mention Duel Destruction II, when you like fortune that much. It is essentially a 10% increase to crit chance on its own and it will likely become 20% with the two fortunes, depending how it is calculated. I haven't tested it, but that sounds like it could be a higher DPS, than equipping Ferocity.
Hey man love your vids do you have any information about a much needed new game plus, post launch content? A new game plus and some new armors woudl be amazing it would make the game perfect
Vamsi Nath yeah. You can equip 2 major charms and only one minor charm but the fox den’s unlock 4 more minor slots. I want more major slots. 2 more would be perfect.
Ok so I paired the charm of fortune with the other charm that gives you a five percent chance that your attacks will do double damage because by my logic it would give me a fifty five percent chance to do double damage...or more than half of my sword swings... however I feel like that's not the case or it just isn't as strong as it sounds. Anyone done testing on this?
That is usually not how percentage is calculated, unless it says additive. Normally it is multiplicative, meaning your 5% would increase by half its value, meaning 2,5 for a total of 7,5% in this case.
This game needs build presets so fucking badly. Switching multiple charms and outfits every few minutes to make the most of your builds gets really fucking tedious super quick.
Okay. Really though, is there a way to tie a charm to an outfit? I have different charms that I use with different armor. So is there a way to change your armor and have the charms that you like with it saved with that armor?
You need to go into your gameplay options and turn on Gear loadouts or something like that. After you did that you can put charm setups on all of your different armor and it saves the hat and mask options too that you use for those armors.
You mention the ability to "stack" similar charms thus increasing the desired benefits of said charms, ( _charm of Ferocity_ for example..), now it's my understanding that "_stacking_" charms *DOES NOT* work, ( i.e.: charm+charm NOR charm+outfit abilities..)... I'm *certain* you've heard this as well, so what's _Your_ opinion on that?? Do they or *don't* they??
So what are your favorite charms to play with?

Great video but kida too op I like a challenge
How do I equip different charm on each armor? I hate it that I have to change my charm depend on armor I’m using
What charm combo when the enemy hits you it add to you health and resolve and not hurt you?
This game needs build presets so fucking badly.
Switching multiple charms and outfits every few minutes to make the most of your builds gets really fucking tedious super quick.
what is the r1 and l1 command that circles the three resolve circles?
I wish there is a harder difficulty. And does this game offer NG+? I'm a newish player
How do you get the massive increases you were talking about, I've done everything in the game and I don't think I have them?
Can you put different charms "loadouts" on each piece of armor, or the charms you choose are automatically put on each armor?
i’m 5 months late but yes you can, it’s an option in the settings
How can i get the kunai assassination
Is it a charm or i need to do one of these tales
I really need it 😪

Would the first charm work in Lethal Mode?
I want to be able to hide bodies.... But still love the game.
Slap all resistance charms on samurai clan armor and you simply cannot die unless you deliberately let them kill you 😆
You mention the ability to "stack" similar charms thus increasing the desired benefits of said charms, ( _charm of Ferocity_ for example..), now it's my understanding that "_stacking_" charms *DOES NOT* work,
( i.e.: charm+charm NOR charm+outfit abilities..)... I'm *certain* you've heard this as well, so what's _Your_ opinion on that??
Do they or *don't* they??
I'm on act 2 and had no idea you could upgrade charms...
Who still plays ? I still play N love this game
How do I find the mask that’s being worn at 0:41 ???
It's close to the very first temple you go in act III
nice plays
Mongol armor plus the damage reduction charms would be op asf
but the mongol armor is so ugly
Just here to say... Win Ding.
Anyone know why the charms of fortune I and II are identical? They both add 50% so why is one of them a “II”?
Ya i tried to use 2 and 3 and with my mongol armor but still took massive hits and it was on medium
I like to use the charm of divine healing 2.
Will there be a damage dealing gosaku build?
Yep
KhrazeGaming aweome! Looking forward to it
Hey, does anybody know if major is the best or if massive is the best? Ik they're both better than moderate, but idk which of the two is best
It’s Massive > Major > Moderate > Minor
@@Khrazegaming thank you my good man
I use the toxic demise charm so I get 8 wind chime to poison mongols is big camps
Cannot see this shit because still I'm in act 2. I guess I will continue on my own and watch this once I finish my first run in this game.
Which charms kept giving resolve?
What head gear does he have on at 4:18+
an upgraded Ronin Attire. it’s one i want as well 😭
"Winding" is pronounced as "wine-ding", meaning a path is twisting and lots of turns 😉
Can you really blame his pronunciation, I mean listen to his voice... I only made it about a minute before clicking off the video
