This is so very sickening and sad. I used to have the same fear with my children’s father.
When they said that all three were unbuckled and the oldest was almost to make it out, I pictured him maybe trying to save his younger brothers and just ran out of air. Or dad never buckled them in to start with.

Its hard to accept and believe someone could do something so horrific. Maybe her refusal to believe he did intentionally was her way to keep from feeling the guilt of it all. Since he did it because she wouldn’t have a relationship with him anymore. More importantly sometimes things are so horrific we can’t allow our minds to go there and believe such evilness exists. I can’t believe Cindy would dare want to visit him, he’s not about to give her any answers regardless!

I can not negate the idea that fathers who could ever do this allows revenge to take hold in order to feel in control. I think another motive is the dreaded (in their mind) financial responsibility. Narcissistic without a doubt.
My own two boys were taken from their babysitter who went in the house to get them a glass of lemonade. She had been playing ball with them. I was working just a few blocks away when she called me telling me a man in a burgundy Thunderbird, grabbed the kids. It was a miracle that as I ran out the door my sister and her husband just drove up. I jumped in their truck and told them. My brother in law raced to the only street that he could have traveled on. He put his truck across the road to where any car would have to stop. We made it in time.
I ran to his car, opened the door and as calmly as I could told the boys to come with me. The ex got out and was coming toward me. My brother in law was right there, “boy, I don’t think you want to do that.” He was a big guy and thought nothing of giving one a southern beat down. So the ex backed off and my babies were safe in my arms. I knew it was revenge because he never bothered to pay support or exercise his visitation.

This is similar to the Susan Smith story here in America. She drove her 2 babies into a lake strapped in their car seats, all over a man. She jumped out out of the car and let it roll into the lake. She blamed a black man who supposedly car jacked her. 9 days later she confessed she did it. Read the documentary on her. I dont know which atory is worse this one or hers. Both monsters!
This is a very one sided telling of story. The "evidence" of the car sinking slowing been questioned by actual experts... these cops sound like they made their mind up based on his strange reaction on night of incident and then built a case around their gut feeling. I don't know if he meant to do it, but this is a lousy analysis of the facts.

60 Minutes did a segment on this case. There is doubt about the science now. This represents that he is guilty with no doubt, that's not true. This is misleading.
What happened was horrible. She wasn’t the best person either…It wasn’t right that she “settled” for him and admitted she had no physical attraction, and that it wasn’t right from the start, even before they married, but then she gets pregnant and gets married to him anyway, which obviously gives anyone hope. Then she tries to start a relationship while still married…That just doesn’t sound right to me….
