I think the writers showed us how much more viserys loved rheanerya when he calls her his only child in episode 8. Alot of that special love comes from aemma, his first wife who he sees in his daughter. Aemma was his real only true love so he would certainly hold rheanerya higher.
The man had four other children. Had he been a better father to Aegon, maybe Aegon doesn't grow up to be such a monster. It's ironic that a man so obsessed with prophecy ignored his prophetic daughter.
@@jasonschuler2256 She did though? To Cole. Though in book canon neither has ever done that. And I said nothing about this season, though if they had not whitewashed her she'd. Go read the book, Rhaenyra is a much worse person and ruler, she literally has no positive qualities nor has done anything positive for her faction, she's just a coward, while Aegon is the best character in the Dance, and a pure badass.
If this season confirmed one thing, it's this: A Dragon is not a slave. It takes immense willpower to maintain one's control as a Dragon Rider. And when that control is lost, disaster follows.
Helena standing next to Aemond because that's who she trusts will protect her is kinda sweet. Along with the fact that her room was the first place Aemond goes after learning that something is happening.
@ 15:10 No visarys didn't love Aemond, aegon, or Helena. In Episode 7 visarys cemented his place in my book of A-holes, he's a piece of garbage. His son had his eye cut out and he didn't even ask Aemond if was okay. Instead he decided to interrogate his 10-year-old son who just got his eye cut out, about where he heard that Rhaenyra's sons were bastards.
Viserys had a special spot in his heart for Rhaenyra because of his wife Aemma... Whom he never truly did get over the death of and it haunted him the rest of his life
The sword crossing, the tapestry, the bagpipes playing “king’s arrival” from GoT, proud Otto enjoying his life’s work, the veiled & somber Queen kissing the King, the Septons marking his forehead...I was blown away by the details in the coronation. It felt like watching Nicholas II being crowned in an Orthodox ceremony with all the hollow pomp & circumstance of a rotting system. It's what I'd always envisioned from a GoT coronation. Tom Glynn-Carney was terrific in bringing out Aegon's fear, hesitation, pride & euphoria all at once. He’s got a sadness about him you only see in catholic stained glass windows. I'm glad they kept much despised Criston putting the Conqueror's crown on Aegon II's head. The Kingmaker is born! What the show's doing really well is the details, down to splitting the treasury or locking up servants. Usually the passionate debates, the sense of treachery, the heartbreak are glossed over & we only see the regime change as a "fait accompli". This bring to life the mechanism that historically goes behind a coup, which I assume is as emotionally taxing for the people seizing power. That's why I like agonized & conflicted Alicent more than her steadfast source counterpart. It's more flesh & blood. She vacillates but her messianic fear for her children fates her to make a cursed gamble.
Viserys loves all his children but not in the same way he loves Rhaenyra, because she is the image of his mother Aemma. When Aemma died a part of him died, he let his illness advance as if it were a curse for what he did to Aemma. His great love was Aemma and will always be.
The GoT season 3 spoiler for HotD is is for future seasons. It's S3E4. Joffrey is the one that delivers the spoiler (of course it would be him). It's when him amd Margaery are in the sept. The spoiler is delivered immediately once the scene comes so you need to know in advance to skip over it
yeah, your gonna wanna stay clear of that, its for the end of hotd. there is also another spoiler i think somewhere in season 4. shereen tells the story of the dance of the dragons (so hotd rn) to either stannis or davos, im not sure who. but there she also basically spoils the outcome
it was between shireen and stannis, and its in season 5 episode 9, but since what she is telling him is relevant for the entire hotd show you will easily finish got 3 times befor hotd fully comes out

Hi Cassie, well here we are seasons end. Two very good episodes. Ep 7, Aegon is a degenerate as is Larys (foot fetish freak!), Alicent is doing what she has to in order to stay ahead of the pack. Ser Christon Cole is a spurned lover, if Rhanys had killed the greens, there most likely would not be a Dance of Dragons. Ep 8, Rhaenyra as Queen showed strength, patience and resolve, too bad it didn't last. RIP Lucerys, let the dance begin, fire and blood! Great reaction as always. Take care ✌
If you’re interested in the original source material, I recommend you read “Fire and Blood.” It covers the history of house Targaryen, starting with Aegon’s conquest, up until the aftermath of the Dance of the Dragons (the war the show is adapting) 😉📖

Sadly, ive read that it could be close to 2 years before season 2 comes out... But we could get the Jon Snow spin off inbetween, thats still in pre-production, but it could be close to production. Fingers crossed. and now welcome to the waiting game we played during the GoT seasons!
The translation has been confirmed thanks to the language's creator, David J. Peterson (via Archive Of Our Own). In it, it is revealed that the name of the song Daemon sings to Vermithor is "With Three Heads". Check the English translation: Fire breathes, winged leader but two heads For a third to sing From my voice: The fires spoke And the price has been paid with blood magic With words of fire with clear eyes To tie the three for you i sing As one we come together And with three heads We'll fly like we were meant to beautifully, freely In the book Aemond he kills Luke and because he wanted not to and as he is showing in the series that he is sorry, the name of Rhaenyra's baby would be a girl and her name would be visenya Rhaenyra wasn't dreaming of a dragon giving birth. Her own dragon, Syrax, was screaming in pain at her because they are so bonded. If you notice during the Battle of the Stepstones, Caraxes screams when Daemon is hit by an arrow. this shows how Rhaenyra and Daemon have a great connection with their dragons. Rhaenyra's anger burns the whole transition was so well done, her anger is completely justified compared to how they made Daenarys Daemon as crazy as it gets, he loved his brother. From the scene where he stopped Corlis talking shit about Viserys in ep 1, helping on the throne to mourning on the beach. I don't think Daemon wanted to show weakness because Rhaenyra was at her most vulnerable and it wasn't easy.. (His last wife died in childbirth, and I believe it is also said that his mother died in childbirth and the wife of Viserys died in childbirth.) So the only thing he could do was prepare for the war he knew was coming. The scene on the beach was much longer of him on the beach Matt the actor he shot a scene on the beach the daemon suffering from the death of his baby who was a girl and her name was the series visenya but HBO preferred to remove this scene the daemon he is not no saint anymore he loves his family he loves his children and really rhaenyra just unfortunately the writers prefer not to show that side of him much, i think the reason daemon didnt go to rhaenyra when she was giving birth is because he feared having to make an impossible choice. The last woman he had complications with died. He didn't want to have to make that choice for Rhaenyra. He couldn't lose her that way. When he dropped to his knees, he was relieved that she was okay and had survived. Rhaenyra didn't want help during the birth because of her mother's death. She wanted to get that baby out so she wouldn't suffer the same fate. This series/book is awesome... Matt Smith said that Daemon would give his life for Viserys and Rhaenyra. I fully believe he was heartbroken to see his brother in that condition. we books Alicent she hates Rhaenyra she was always jealous of Rhaenyra so much that I wish rhaenyra's death no and as in the series it shows that alicent is like that and because we books she does things because she because she is a bad person Let's see the losses Rhaenyra lost mother and father and daughter and son and Daemon lost father and mother in childbirth and also lost his wife who is Laena and son and now he lost brother and daughter and two other children They are suffering, but each one of their own ways, the daemon starts preparing for war because he knows Otto very well and he is afraid of losing his family One thing I say is that the two really love each other rhaenyra she can't survive without the daemon They are the best couple like it or not they are everyone's popular Daemyra forever
Rhaenys. What is her Goal? Just to make a point. She is riding the Red Queen. She being the first born of the first born is the one and only rightful Queen of Westeros. Viserys was an Usurper pushed to the throne by a council of traitors that didn't want a Velaryon on the throne. Aegon is an Usurper. And she has killed neither, because she was decent. That is her point. Unluckily she always has been too good to take what is hers. Viserys had no buisiness on her throne. Nor has Aegon - and nor has Rhaenyra.
Just to clarify, we know Aegon's dream wasn't entirely true. A Targaryen did not need to be on the throne to defeat the White Walkers. Technically Jon and Dany were able to unite a good chunk of the Realm, but the Realm was clearly divided.

Season 3 Joffrey will say a huge spoiler for the ending of House Of The Dragon, so be careful of that still. Also Shireen talks about the dance of dragons a few times too.

A year? Yeah they haven’t even began filming season 2 yet so what the showrunners are saying it’s that most likely would air mid 2024 😢😢. Now it’s war time so that means rheanyra and daemon will most likely be on the same page going forward. Daemon was piss this whole episode because he was grieving his brother and child, he also saw rhaenyra making the same mistake as viserys (being naive) and he knows her way of thinking will get them all killed. In this world being “noble” doesn’t get you far and he knows it
How much of a Targaryen is Rhaenys? She picks the most dramatic moment to do all the Dramatic things! Hell Hath No Fury Like A Woman Scorned? No. *Hell Hath No Fury Like A Mother Mourning.*
Disagree. They needed to emphasize the divide between Alicent and Otto. They need to flesh out Aemond's character. They needed to establish the rift between the Cargylls. We needed to seen Team Green before heading over to Team Black.
@@havok6280 The only divide between Alicent and Otto is that Alicent loves Rhaenyra and Otto doesnt, that's been clear the entire season. Aemond had one line where he said he wanted to be king, they could have thrown that in anywhere. Yes they needed to fill an entire episode with Team Green stuff and they clearly didnt have enough actual plot to fill an entire episode so they wasted time 'searching for Aegon in the city'.
The truth is that in this chapter I do not understand Rhaenyra, she wants to bring peace after she has been removed from the throne and has been humiliated since she had Asus children, what was she saying to Daemon in chapter 1x7, I cannot alone with them greens I need you and now that daemon realizes that the throne has been taken from his wife what is the first thing he does to look for allies reinforce dragontons in case they attack them and she starts to fight with him because she thinks she can do things better than him that is why it is the anger of daemon who sees in her a viserys 2.0 he knows that the hightowers have been the problem from the beginning that daemon told viserys I will protect you from anyone but that is what hurts daemon realizing that viserys I never trust him if daemon he has never been a character neither good nor bad to him the only thing that matters to him is to protect his family I know that what he did to rhaenyra was not right but that is what bothers him to see that rhaenyra be like viserys who lets himself be manipulated by others
it seems that the writers want to put only that the men who are ambitious with power or war for example otto or daemon I hope that in s2 rhaenyra and alicent are more ambitious if they would do anything for their children but that it can also be seen that they want to have power for them, for example, as cersi that she would do anything for her children but had her own interests for herself I hope that rhaenyra is more ambitious and that they remove that she remains good because of such a prophecy that the truth is that it rather annoys that if she is going to fight, let it be for her and her family
there is rhaenys halbeces I like her but she also seems to me to be hypocritical there she doesn't want to start a war listen your granddaughters are daughters of daemon you know they will always be in danger
If you watch GOT your going to hear what happens two people spoil it in the show one is Joffrey the other is Princess Shireen daughter of Stanis tells you all about the dance of the dragons either one of them in GOT will ruin it for ya Joffrey gives ya way to much info on a major event that will destroy House of Dragon for ya if you watch GOT your going to ruin it for ya! I would advise your daughter to watch House of dragon first with you then watch GOT. I don't understand why anyone would want to watch GOT first I seen it wish I hadn't I would rather watch House of Dragons first completely because I know what's going to happen already and Hate knowing thanks GOT!
The whole thing was a test if Alicent could step up and be the queen with the stones to order her father around
To her horror she succeeded
The truth is that in this chapter I do not understand Rhaenyra, she wants to bring peace after she has been removed from the throne and has been humiliated since she had Asus children, what was she saying to Daemon in chapter 1x7, I cannot alone with them greens I need you and now that daemon realizes that the throne has been taken from his wife what is the first thing he does to look for allies reinforce dragontons in case they attack them and she starts to fight with him because she thinks she can do things better than him
that is why it is the anger of daemon who sees in her a viserys 2.0 he knows that the hightowers have been the problem from the beginning that daemon told viserys I will protect you from anyone but that is what hurts daemon realizing that viserys I never trust him if daemon he has never been a character neither good nor bad to him the only thing that matters to him is to protect his family I know that what he did to rhaenyra was not right but that is what bothers him to see that rhaenyra be like viserys who lets himself be manipulated by others
I hope u pick a new series and make more tv reactions
it seems that the writers want to put only that the men who are ambitious with power or war for example otto or daemon I hope that in s2 rhaenyra and alicent are more ambitious if they would do anything for their children but that it can also be seen that they want to have power for them, for example, as cersi that she would do anything for her children but had her own interests for herself
I hope that rhaenyra is more ambitious and that they remove that she remains good because of such a prophecy that the truth is that it rather annoys that if she is going to fight, let it be for her and her family
what?
ρгό𝔪σŞm
there is rhaenys halbeces I like her but she also seems to me to be hypocritical there she doesn't want to start a war listen your granddaughters are daughters of daemon you know they will always be in danger
season 3 and season 5 spoilers
