What bars are them? I have the same bike, I tried last year to do my bars like yours and had a hell of a time also re-routing the throttle cable. Too long like you said. I felt like I tried every possible angle and it just kept binding up. So Reinstalled my own back on. Bummer.
And yet another beautiful gently Loved all original OEM Honda winds up turning into something stupid and losing all of its value..... This is why I can't sell any of my collection because I'm scared someone's going to do the same thing to my survivors....
