I think there should be an enemy or some kind of encounter where you are separated and one player gets pulled into an alternate dimension stranger things style and has to fight a tough enemy, being replaced by a mimic if they lose, and the other player has to have a panic moment figuring out whether or not the coop partner is real
The tide is currently a place holder as they will be adding the teleporting within the next update but there is unforcene issues with multiplayer teleporting you different places putting extreme pressure on the hosts PC
I was fine with it cause stuff was still in the works. What was frustrating was every time I joined a co-op or the host loading a save resulted in my death since there is a tide de-sync between players.
Early Access or not, I’m having more fun playing Into The Radius 2 than any other VR release so far of 2024. I have about 25-30 hours into streaming it this far, and it’s intense and there’s something new every time. It’s my 2024 VR GOTY so far. One of the main differences between the two that not many people mention is that it uses UE5. Unreal Engine 5 is a dream come true for VR. What can be done with lighting, water, shading, fluidity, reflections and overall visuals can help transport people to the VR environment like they are there. It’s a running joke on my stream where I can’t help but to play around with the lighter or light in the backpack to see the reflections on artifacts. The little details like that are so mesmerizing. Either way, great video! First time stumbling across the channel and am always looking to support other VR content creators that are not mainstream and offer some actual substance. Hope to catch you around. Cheers!
@@wtfimcrying I like to 'stop and smell the roses' as they say to see all the ins and outs of a game. It helps me show people the levels of detail (or lack of detail) that games have while I'm live streaming. That being said, to say the game only has 10 hours of content is wild. You'd have to be speed running through the game and skipping major parts of maps in order to even get to security level 3 in that time. I'd like to see that happen as I don't see how that would be possible unless you are blatantly trying to speed run and skip parts of the game. I have over 30 hours in single player now and still have not been to certain parts of the forest map and still have not used over half the weapons. I also have played around 4 hours of co-op and plan to start another co-op run here soon. But when a game offers the raid style of gameplay which is done properly and done well, you can return to the game and still enjoy playing it over and over again. Thankfully, I still have some stuff to do.
@@farmertrueVR i mean 10 hours to finish all the main line quests. I like to “smell the roses” too. But i played the game before my pulley system, so maybe i rushed more than i thought i did. I also didnt have much time to play
I've played Satisfactory with UEVR. UE5 is great in VR. Reflections are beautiful. A little grainy due to ray tracing method used. Did I mention that already? Ray Tracing. VR.
With the new dev diary that was released after this video launched, it seems very promising to become even better. My only struggles is hardware/software BS that comes with VR in general.
Honestly, for me, the option of co op was the only thing I felt ITR1 was missing. I much prefer enjoying games with my friends and ITR2 potentially gives us the perfect opportunity.
Probes did also trigger anomalies in the first game but it is based on the anomaly type. The whole change in the graphical style makes the game way less creepy and scary. It feels so casual compared to the first game.
a thing that i think is forgoten a lot is that if you look carefully the first game you clearlywork for some soviet group in the second for the un i think it’s more the soviet failed in exploring and securing the zone so the un come in to fix everything
You forgot the tumbleweed. At least that's what i have seen it referred to as. It is like the chair thing but it doesn't explode and roams the pathways in the "exploding state".
5 hrs on record rn playing in v.0.11 me and my mate couldnt wait for the full release. Only done coop and heres some things i want to say/add-on; Coop as of right now is buggy, but the bugs ive come across are not massive and all we news to do to fix them is just rejoin. Its like a trade; more fun but less horror. For me its been really fun but no where near as scary, but at the same time i dont find the map scary where as itr1 i found that map scary (itr1 map 1000000 times better than itr2 map) I gotta agree with you on most points and there are some performance issues but its really good. I think people are forgetting its only got like 1% of the content itr1 had. For early access its grate and the devs have done a great job. But for coop they need to add more enemies and tender to the amount of people in a party, but in our current save the difficulty is normal so that might be why. Cant wait for more enemies, but bugs and map need improvement the most. The map doesnt feel as scary, itr1 its a grey desolate plain where as itr2 its cluttered. The buildings arent dark and they dont feel abandoned they just feel destroyed. Itr2s map needs to be more barren and dark even in the day and should follow what the map in itr1 has done. But ive only got 5hrs right now and im not too far into the game (as we restarted due to wasting all our money so realistically the current save i play on is 2 hrs) so i could be wrong and it could be perfect in the later game. Sorry for the yap and great video!
This game and Arizona sunshine 2 are single-handedly responsible for getting me to dig up my quest 2 and buying a new link cable. Both amazing vr experiences.
Good call on everything in the video! I haven't really tried the co op but I'm sure it could help considerably with the northern forest area for sure. Those choke points are FULL of enemies
My main gripe with ITR 2, setting aside its general lack of content due to early access, is just how different the game feels in its environment and artstyle. They seem to be departing from the "stalker" vibe that was so prevelant in the first game in pursuit of its own identity and tone. Although to be entirely honest, I think its a downgrade. Its hard to put my finger on it, but the game just doesnt keep me on the edge of my seat like ITR1 does. And I believe the artstyle changes are the primary culprit. I feel like a corporate drone, rather than a survivor barely making it day to day
Ive played it and its fun, the og itr is better, for now, but knowing what cm did with the og early access i think we kan be shure that intr2 will be an amazing experience
Im glad the Radius team went for a more realistic/less stylized appearance for the game because personally, everything looking like playdough really turned me away from the first game
I lost my gun and other crap several times it just falls through the ground and disappears if you are sitting the body sticks out too much you can't stand, its such a slow game but if you sit the harness is so big you are constantly grabbing things you don't mean to while moving needs serious work its also not fun tryin to kill some guy who is so far away he's a couple pixels but he can one shot u totally lame right from the start you should have binoculars and a scope for your pistol its so lame to be killed by a dot more than 2 blocks away
I dont get how so much is gone that was in the first game. Like why couldnt they just port that stuff directly from the first game? They all worked very well. I get multiplayer takes precident but those systems were already done lmao

It took 2 years after the full release of into the raidus to get a massive dumbed down port to quest 2, and longer to get a quest 3 visual update, into the raidus 2 will be completed sometime mid next year, meaning a port wouldn't be worked on for a few years from now, quest 4 would be out by then lol
