They've said you don't actually need to level it up nearly that high to unlock all upgrades. I think everything unlocks at 30-40? And most upgrades besides engine swaps and stuff are ~20 I can't remember specifically but it's nowhere near what crowned did
Level 40 - Engine Swaps Level 45 - Body Kits Level 50 - Drivetrain Swaps But yeah, for this specific build level 50 was not neceserry, I just let it level up for the achievement.

I think it's a good system that encourages players not to just buy, max out, and forget about each car they own though. Maybe just needs a few tweaks

@@almeidaariel9 thing is, in some settings, the washed out look works to make it look realistic but other times, it looks almost cartoony with the cars in direct sunlight and on the interior of some cars, the textures just look off as well as seeing light and reflections in the footwell where there would be little to no light, making it look like the light is shining directly through the bodywork.

That's some serious dedication you need to have to complete 95 laps in order to level up the car, so you can unlock upgrades. What a stupid gameplay mechanic!

I'm out of FH5, where I made hundreds of liveries. When I tried to make some for FM(8), the arrow keys didn't move the vinyls around or change their size. I had to use the WASD keys, which gave me no precision. They move in large increments. Is there way to move and resize pieces in smaller increments?
You can tell how new or old a car model is by looking at the taillights, game devs only started caring about headlight/taillight quality recently
or the air vents in the interior.

They went for a realistic camera approach instead of human vision approach, in harsh sun, cameras give washed out colors and everything looks flat.
