Small update: You can actually skip practice. You have to go into practice, then pause the game and select to skip it. Weird but it works for those who get bored of it
The biggest thing that ended my interest was the fact when you max out a cars level and decide to buy the same car again you have to level up that same car again.
@@spreilly71 Mate, in a game that you have to grind a one car to be able to tune it and then being forced to do the same thing again just to have a different tune. In normal game or any different Forza, you could just put a different livery - thus skipping grind and works the same way.
Ive played for a few hours: I do like the idea of leveling up a car and genuinely making a connection to it, just not in this way. This would have been a great time to bring back manufacturer affinity, instead of leveling up to unlock upgrades, you level up your car manufacturer to get bonuses, like xp and credit boosts and exclusive liveries
What fuckin "connection"? The only mechanic that would make sense would be to gain some "expertise" that would aid in oversteer recovery. Meaning, getting more familiar with the car means it's easier to drive. But it's nothing. It's just an annoying feature just to give the impression that this is a new game.
Moderately hot take: I really like the idea of the upgrading system *had it been tied on a per manufacturer basis* (similar to FM3’s affinity system) but nope, here we are :/
I think it would be best for it to be based on car type rather than manufacturers. I.e. modern hot hatches all level up together, gt cars all level up together, etc.
@@devinvenne I agree this would be a lot better I understand what the devs were thinking just to make it rpg based but it doesn't translate well in a car game with over idek how many cars the game has 😭 most rpg's have a way where most things level up together anyway nowadays too
You really aren't missing much. Handling and graphics are improved from FM7 but I think the career mode will get dull rather quickly (although it's apparently also quite short). And the AI balancing is really bad. The first few drivers are always way faster than the rest of the field. If you start in 24th you will already be in 5th after half a lap and then you spend the rest of the race trying to catch up to the last few guys. Reminds me of Forza Apex.
Skill issue. I agree with you though, in real life racing we should put the slowest drivers at the start of the pack instead of the people with more pace because it’s unfair that the people who are faster get to start in the front.
It’s gonna be one of those drip feed live service games. They hear the complaints but they will wait to fix once the original boom of players dies down to keep people coming back
You mean like they did with FM7? Oh wait, they didn't. They don't give a shit. And since this is just a downgraded copy paste of FM7, they won't even think about it twice. The game is already dead.
@@xXturbo86Xxdid u even get into multiplayer.... graphics are better, dynamics are better. If they go anymore sim like, it'd cater to a more niche audience
@@simplevoicereviewssvr6418 yeah thats pretty much it. Racing games are best played multiplayer and really the career is beyond irrelevant. It lives and dies by the amount of people in the multiplayer. For one, I am really stoked for this gt7 experience on xbox.
@@chrisanderson1-66 They should've implemented some actual progression instead. You can do whatever you can afford to cars as soon as you get them in Gran Turismo 4 for example, just that you may not be able to afford it without doing some races (in any of the cars you currently own)

Bingo. I finally bought a PS5, first time PS owner for GT7 and a few other PS exclusives. GT7 is leaps and bounds ahead of FM. I get how people call Forza Motorsport vanilla and corporate-like now. It’s like the game was thrown together to say “hey, we have something like GT on Xbox too,” but falls flat.
I'm just glad consoles in general don't really suffer from technical difficulties that PC can get. Shits still definitely on Microsofts part shits depressing
I almost bought FM8 yesterday but backed out at the last second and then a survey popped up and asked why I didn't buy. I messaged them that I was afraid the game wont' work on release because so many games get released unfinished nowadays.
bro.. i paid 120$ for this utter disaster. I wrote to xbox that unless I get a full refund I am completely moving back to PS5. this is unnacceptable. I have the blessing and privilige to be able to afford and have time to play nearlt all major releases on all consoles. I am a dad and I game with my sons -- I have never been so pissed off at a game I was waiting for for so long.... I get exctlyt how you feel
Built from the ground up must stand for: knocking down the OK-built building (FM7), using all of the now broken pieces from FM7’s building, mixing very few brand new pieces (the small amount of brand new cars, slight graphic/physics improvement) and then using asbestos to fill in the holes (the awful car-level system/removal of fun/quirky cars and straight up sports/racecars that have no reason to be removed, and still using nearly 20 year old models. Oh, and still having the same ugly Forza Aero for every car) :) (at this point, all of the old mechanics/game-features from FM1-4 are just the dirt and ash on the ground that the new Motorsports are built on)
I was kinda disappointed to turn 10 but not surprised at the same time. They just give you a car-level system and call it the day. Anything else is almost same as FM7.
I swear, why cant big racing game developers just actually release an even decent game with low bugs, good performance and that is fun to play, it is ridiculous nowadays, no-one can do it.
That's because there's a lot more people nowadays that will be happy with anything. Feed them SHIT, literally, and they will be happy and even ask for seconds. The gaming industry can clearly see the patterns and they're capitalizing on it. They spend as less time and money as possible, they make a lot more, and on to the next shitty game. The market is there. Mindless consumers eager to spend money because they have no life anymore and have nothing to spend it on other than games.
@@xXturbo86Xx Like many GTPlanet members? It seems that those people line right up to defend anything as long as it has cars and "photo-realistic" graphics in it. Makes me wonder if developers pay them to white knight these games, honestly.
When a game published by the evil electronic arts gives you more hopes and expectation than your game, something are you doing wrong Microsoft. Edit: i mean the upcomming wrc game from ea
Look, there are plenty of issues with the game, but this ain’t one of em mate. You removed software from your operating system that isn’t meant to be and you ran into consequences when you ran software made by the people that made that OS and made it so you would always have it. I don’t even like Windows, but now you’re blaming an issue that was your fault on a game that you never even got to try. That all said, FM is pretty buggy in the game itself too
I played the game, and it really feels like the only thing that was "built from the ground up" was the background track graphics. The environments look beautiful but I'm not impressed by it because that's just simply the natural progression of game graphics. Like yeah i expect Mugello to look better than the last game. What i am disappointed about though is we've been complaining since the Xbox One era to change these 2005-2012 car models and update them and they just don't care at all. Having 64 times more fidelity or whatever on some dumb rocks in pit road should not take priority over 18 year old car models that are innacurate because, at the end of the day, cars are the focus of a car game. Aa far as the upgrades, they REALLY could have fixed it if they 1. Gor rid of the 50 level cap and made it infinite and 2. Keep the car points but got rid of the upgrade unlocks. Car points will let players pick and choose what upgrade is best for them at that moment. Locking them off makes me feel frustrated. I did a championship with a Lexus RCF and it felt like i couldn't reach first unless i started in 6th place or higher due to how heavy the car is. This game could be greay like a year or two down the line and thats very disappointing that it's not great at launch
I was genuinely somewhat willing to give the game a go even if I knew it'd never meet my expectations in the current standards of AAA gaming, but the always online requirement for progression killed my enthusiasm for the game completely. Even then for that, the game does look far off the threshold that Forza Motorsport 4 set, it's a sad thing devs are somehow allergic to using the same ingredients that made their games great.
It's not that developers don't know how to make a truly great game anymore, it's that they don't want to in the face of more profitable, competing interests (or more accurately, they aren't allowed to by their publishers). Around 20 years ago, the best way to make money via video games was to produce a hit game that everyone wanted. This meant innovating or at least, copying the best qualities of whatever was making money and then finding some way of making that copy stand out. This gave us a sustained period of classics that we have not met or exceeded since, as evidenced by the industry's continued reliance on remaking and exploiting the nostalgia of those classics. Today, the best way to make money in a video game is to build a digital slot machine and wrap it in the guise of a "video game". The gameplay itself doesn't need to be better, or even all that good anymore to justify the investment, because the business strategy of these ventures lies in exploiting social engineering and gambling-addiction psychology rather than being...y'know, creative and good. And that isn't mere theory, sadly. It's cold hard fact. The most bluntly exploitative "Games as a service / Online-casino" model isn't just profitable, it's proven to be immensely more profitable than any other business model in the entirety of video game history. (for the same reasons that real world casinos and gambling were subjected to state regulation across the entire developed world) Just to put this into perspective with a real world example: Take the game Fire Emblem Heroes. In its first year, it averaged 15 million dollars per MONTH. That is like selling a best selling smash hit game EVERY YEAR on a pauper's budget. In 2023, FEH broke 1 BILLION in total revenue as of its 5th year. (FEH's gameplay is an extremely dumbed down version of the actual Fire Emblem series, which itself is not that complex. The graphics and audio are on par with 2nd rate crap I saw on Newgrounds 15+ years ago.) And FEH wasn't even the biggest earner in that regard; have a look at what Fortnite or FIFA were making prior to the great O'Biden Inflation Bomb gutting the economy; nearly a BILLION USD per YEAR at its peak in 2020. That's per game too, not combined. Why bother spending 3+ years making a high quality game when you can just make an online casino strapped to some well known gaming franchise instead? Well, that's the billion dollar question for the captains of industry, and it's a question they have to answer with "Roll out them digital slots, boys!" if they want to attract and keep investors on board. Of course...just like with real-world gambling, there's a price to be paid in the long run. It guts the value of the franchise in the long run by turning away the majority of those who used to associate that franchise with quality. Whales are fickle assholes too; the moment games like those stop being popular, they start searching for some other Pay-to-Win extravaganza or gambling addiction to waste copious shitloads of cash on. It's a far more volatile market than the industry thinks, but it's about to be reminded in the harshest way to not take everything for granted.
Back in the day: Game's out > buy disk > install game > play game weeks upon weeks > be happy Nowadays: Game's out > people already post hate videos on it > buy it > it dont work > fix it for 2 weeks > try it > game's sh1t > depression
8:02 Um sir the series x is the strongest console on the market no need for the snarky air quotes. Developer of this game just did a terrible job for both the series x and pc port.
This dude is just too cool for school. The iconic “I don’t care”. Despite troubleshooting for an hour. Multiplayer is limited but fun, however it gets completely ruined by immature children playing crash derby. While Microsoft does nothing about it.
I play it on Series S. It's a bit boring. It freezes when you apply upgrades on cars ,then when you restart it you have to race all over again. The way the Golf R/A45 sounds is sad.😢. Dissapointed.
Man turn10 dropped the ball so fucking hard on this game. They really only care about Horizon, and even that game is severely lacking in any kind of replay ability
Ive been trying to play it but im finding it harder and harder to justify playing it. Career is rubbish. I dont like the levelling up car system. Car list isnt good enough at all, for example one of the first cars I had access to was a Honda Civic Type R but it wasnt even the latest gen. There isnt many new supercars or hypercars. The car sounds isnt as good as FH. Autovista is better in FH. I dont get no race driver emersion, there is no race car career mode, or working through a race career. Maybe they could have given you a team like Grid. Or story with cutscenes like TOCA. This just feels like a rip off after waiting 6 years. I like to race road cars but stock, including the AI. But with the levelling up the car system, you cant do that. Menus seem to be counterintuitive, and instead of practice, I would have preferred qualifying. The AI performance difference kills the fun. I can start 24th, and finish 4th for example. Or I can start 4th and finish 4th. It is so frustrating how quick the first 1-3 cars are compared to the rest of the grid. Makes it feel unrealistic or like a multiclass event.
This is why I don't buy games at launch. I usually like to wait a couple months so some of the mayor issues have been ironed out. Specially Forza games, whose pc ports tend to be quite broken at launch We used to say early access was just prepaid beta testing, but now even that applies to buying games at launch.
Thats because they consider beta stage "ready to launch" when they know damn well it isnt done yet, this is problem that spreads across gaming as a whole. But consoomers keep consooming, so realistically nothing will change and were doomed to get unfinished/live service crap until gaming market crash 2.0 happens.
i disagree, its a good game. I fucking love the rain races, so much fucking atmosphere!!!! I will say that yeah, for the old muscle cars, they handle terribly!
What I find interesting, is that those that criticized GT Sport for being an online only experience (even if it was marketed as well) because it didn't have a GT Mode, now they're not so critical with the new Forza for being barebones in the career mode (which was one of the main selling features) and instead, praise the multiplayer.
@@romanbelenkin3799About that, I don't want to involve with a politic conversation but the thing is, my country's economic inflation is high and by this, new released video games's prices are always changing.
Okay so here is my take on the game. First off I have played the forza series for 16 years. I bought the Early Access for this game because we have waited six years for Motorsport which was the longest we have ever had to wait for one of these games. I was excited to try it with all of my friends who are also 10 plus years into this series as well. Needless to say about 20 of my friends including me have had our money reimburse for this game. I am playing on console and I cannot believe how bad it looks how bad it sounds and I do not like the way they did the progression system either. We just want to get in and race and go in the multiplayer and make big private lobbies and race with each other but the way they have made this game it is really hard to do that and it just doesn't work. Half of my friends are saving up to get a PS5 and gt7 because I stream it all the time because I've switched to it now and thoroughly enjoy just getting in there and racing and modifying cars in creating Lobby's. I am also a car guy and am surrounded by performance cars on a daily basis my family and I own an automotive shop and I get to work on cars and I get to see things in real life. So between the love for the forza series and my love for cars I seriously critiqued the crap out of this game. And to name a few things that really bug me is stuff like the Interiors very inaccurate on this game. I mean certain cars have different colored gauges in what the actual cars have in IRL. Most of the Subarus Interiors are extremely messed up. So the interior's don't even belong on certain models of the cars. All the Interiors look really bad the reflections and lighting is really bad. I think the carbon-fibre on a lot of the interior's look really really bad. Even the color of the interior and the textures that they decided to use are completely wrong. The 09 ZR1 does not even sound like a ZR1. I mean I could keep going and going and going but I don't even think there's enough room for me to continue on with this. I can't believe what the outcome was of this game after waiting six years. And one of the biggest hits for me is the fact that the nordschleife is not in there at launch. I mean come on there is no excuse for that. And what I do not understand is how everyone is trying to make excuses for them like it's not a big deal in that it will be in the game later. I cannot believe that everyone is okay that they have released an unfinished game that isn't even accurately depicting cars anymore and it runs like crap on PC at the same time. I mean this game is a dumpster fire. I am truly disappointed. It is so sad that this is what they "from the ground up". Needless to say that I am done with the forza franchise. I honestly thought this day would never come because I've always enjoyed Forza. But oh well nothing good lasts forever I guess.
When running the ingame benchmark with a 3070, 10core, and 16g ram. And fps capped at 60. Its fine, looks meh on ultra. But when actually playing the game any mode it struggles to do 40fps

I don't know what's going on at Microsoft. I understand Redfall was more of a problem with Arkane (and no good Arkane devs being left) but Halo Infinite, Forza Motorsport are both bread and butter franchises and EACH one had an extended development time. Both were disappointments with lazy campaign content and a lack of content and quality control in general. Motorsport feels the same. It's behind GT7 in almost every aspect, and even worse, it's behind Turn 10s history of games. FM3 and 4 are obviously the standard they set, and they completely missed the mark with this 2023 version. Either they lost their mojo as a studio, or management at Microsoft is really pushing devs to do weird things due to Gamespass. I think it's management, and it's pissing me off.
I do not race online nor do I have a steering wheel/pedals set up. I’m interested in the quality of the single player career mode and livery editor. Everything Ive seen so far has made me more unsure about buying an xbox for this game. I’ll definitely give it a few weeks to see what people say.
@@JerCough5668 Not at all-just not interested in racing against dirty drivers and cannot afford a steering wheel/pedal setup, nor do I have space for one.
I was pretty surprised at how bad the game performs for how average it looks on PC (on a 7900XTX BTW). Not to mention I had the game crash twice in the first 30 minutes.
I’m not defending forza here but you should never remove edge from windows. So many critical systems baked into windows rely on it being there. Being a Microsoft title it doesn’t surprise me that the lack of edge broke the game.
I played on Series S like almost 40min and my honest opinion is: I mean, it's alright. Graphics, meh. I've seen most impressive things before considering its hardware, but it's not bad. Sounds are pretty good tho. However, I still think that doesn't top MW2012 in the sound department, but it's good. The handling it's actually really good. However, the main cutscenes and tutorial are unskipable, and I found that really annoying. And also, I don't see that much of events in the Builders Cup... Idk, it's an OK game, but for me not impressive considering the hardware (even if I consider the Series S the worst Xbox Series console)
7:10 What about in GT4 when you get up to the World Classic Car Series which is after a heap of events where you drive much faster cars? I'll still play FM2,3 and 4.
I wanted to discover how different is it from gran turismo and i found out that i'm missing out anything. My pc doesn't meet the recommended requirements but it does surpass the minimum requirements, and it took nearly 1 hour just to get past the title screen. Everytime i tried to open the game, it took 30~50 minutes just to get past it. Before this title screen, it tried to connect to my xbox account and sometimes it just failed and it crashed the game; and when it got past this connection, then i had to wait all that time in the title screen. When i finally got past the title screen and opened the game, i had to wait nearly 10 minutes just to enter a race. Only in this time i finally was able to play a race and control a car in this game, and i had the feeling that my dualshock 4 wasn't working well because the car sometimes seemed to "steer" (more like a vibration on the track) by its own. That could probably be the case if my controller didn't work very well with any other game. So i tried to change my controller and use a dualsense, but Windows just doesn't recognize it as a controller. Congratulations Microsoft, neither your OS and your racing simulation game work as they are supposed to. My real fear when Microsoft bought activision is that they can kill crash bandicoot franchise again. But the issues didn't end there. After giving up on trying to use dualsense, i changed back to dualshock 4 knowing that it wasn't the controller's fault and finally started racing again. When it seemed that i was at last going to play it, a window pops up saying that my connection had broken and i also knew that it wasn't my internet's fault because it was working well. This window gave me the choice of trying to reconnect or to play offline, and when i tried to reconnect, i think that this window popped up again in less than 10 seconds. This happened about 4 times but i tried to reconnect the first 3 attempts and every attempt had the same fail after 10 seconds or less. In the fourth attempt, i clicked to play offline because i just wanted to play it but it was so difficult to get to this point. Then the game took me to the title screen saying that my connection was restored and yet it started to look for updates. That's the point i was done. It was looking for update but forever, i didn't have anything i could do or click on and it never found an update and never let me do anything. I knew that all i could do was to close the game and wait another 50 minutes to open it up again. That's when i just stopped. That's ridiculous. I lost nearly 3 hours of my life just trying to play a game. It's not like i spent my money on it because i'm paying gamepass instead, and it's not like i was super hyped for it, i just wanted to see how different it it from a good simulator, and the answer for it is A LOT. but anyway i was expecting to enjoy the game at least a little bit and it was the complete opposite. This game wasn't made to run on any computer, they just pretend it was. Even though gran turismo has some dubious decisions when it comes to game design, it's totally playable and technically well made. I understand now why people used to say since many years ago why forza motorsport wasn't good, and it doesn't seem to have changed.
Built a new system 2 days prior to the PC release. Game worked fine from steam for me and it unpacked in 8 minutes . I read that some PC owners were also changing regions on windows to get around the timezones/release. Lets face it, many more games will release needing fixes or that are not fully optomised. As for FM they spent 6 years with it, but what happens in the next year with it is what matters most.
it's good to watch these kinds of videos before one asks for a series x for christmas. i still want to play this game (this is coming from a person who willingly bought f&f crossroads deluxe edition when it released so take that as you want to), but only because of the new cars and customization. there isn't much else i would even want a new forza game for 8:01 those are the exact same words that i saw on an ad for the one x back when i got one of those. i love meaningless corporate buzzwords :/

At least you got inside of the game, i can't even properly launch it. Days and hours gone by and i am pretty much done, might as well reinstall FM7. Or just any game that works when you install it.
That's so dumb that you couldn't even launch it. Completely inexcusable from turn 10. About the upgrade system, I'd like it if instead of unlocking every upgrade for the one item unlocked it would just unlock all tier 1 upgrades at once, then you get to choose what your car needs. Because i was using a 91 bmw m3 for the track specials cup and for the first two races i was skidding all over the track because of how bad the stock tires were. And the second i got street tires I started setting great segments all over the race.
There is a small game called wreckfest with a small amout of car leveling up but great multiplayer. This seems to have great multiplayer as well but much more car leveling up, its exactly what i have been wanting, i cant wait!
Tbh, my criticism on new FM is that the foundation of it, and it goes to development of the game. Unlike GT7 where since Sport, they are like "Oh hey, lets make everything 0 again and don't use the older stuff so that we can make the new game better..."
Except gt7 is mid. They are lot better then forza motorsport 8 but not by longshot since those devs Dont talk to us directly and give us a guessing game instead of telling us what to expect in next update beside cars. Not lot content and terrible game payouts.

And they were working on this at least since 2017!!! Can you figure that out?
Graphics look worse
Skill issue. I agree with you though, in real life racing we should put the slowest drivers at the start of the pack instead of the people with more pace because it’s unfair that the people who are faster get to start in the front.
That's what you get for playing on easiest difficulty.

I originally disliked this video. Then I came to my senses and stopped coping. This game is a joke.
Ah yes the build from the ground up
Indeed it was, the physics are incredible.
bro.. i paid 120$ for this utter disaster.
And the best part is:
Microsoft is generally thinking that gaming is a bottom priority! I guess this is a great example for that!

I swear, why cant big racing game developers just actually release an even decent game with low bugs, good performance and that is fun to play, it is ridiculous nowadays, no-one can do it.
Its all about money
That's because there's a lot more people nowadays that will be happy with anything. Feed them SHIT, literally, and they will be happy and even ask for seconds. The gaming industry can clearly see the patterns and they're capitalizing on it. They spend as less time and money as possible, they make a lot more, and on to the next shitty game.
The market is there. Mindless consumers eager to spend money because they have no life anymore and have nothing to spend it on other than games.
Because they hire people with blue hair..
@@xXturbo86Xx Like many GTPlanet members?

Online only for career mode is basically "Built from Ground Up".😂
Play GT7, you’ll get a game that truly feels built from the ground up. Let’s say even it wasn’t, it looks better even than max settings on PC.
(for the same reasons that real world casinos and gambling were subjected to state regulation across the entire developed world)
Just to put this into perspective with a real world example: Take the game Fire Emblem Heroes.
The graphics and audio are on par with 2nd rate crap I saw on Newgrounds 15+ years ago.)
And FEH wasn't even the biggest earner in that regard; have a look at what Fortnite or FIFA were making prior to the great O'Biden Inflation Bomb gutting the economy; nearly a BILLION USD per YEAR at its peak in 2020.
User error played a big role in this video 😂😂
Back in the day: Game's out > buy disk > install game > play game weeks upon weeks > be happy

Specially Forza games, whose pc ports tend to be quite broken at launch
We used to say early access was just prepaid beta testing, but now even that applies to buying games at launch.
Spot on.

Its amazing now that they fixed the issues
They basically recreated Gran Turismo Sport, without the things that actually made Sport worth playing.
What I find interesting, is that those that criticized GT Sport for being an online only experience (even if it was marketed as well) because it didn't have a GT Mode, now they're not so critical with the new Forza for being barebones in the career mode (which was one of the main selling features) and instead, praise the multiplayer.
Are you real? I bought it preorder on console, game isn't released yet but people are started to refund already? Man I'm so indecisive right now.

I will just wait for FitGirl to release premium Version
The game is dog 💩. Years of development?... Absolute lies.

This is most definitely a game release of all time.
I played on Series S like almost 40min and my honest opinion is:
I mean, it's alright.
The fact that you pay 100€ and still have to be online otherwise you can't play it's so fliping annoying...
i didn't even knew forza motorsport got released. glad i'm not missing out, as usual with modern gaming
7:10 What about in GT4 when you get up to the World Classic Car Series which is after a heap of events where you drive much faster cars? I'll still play FM2,3 and 4.
The game is very very bad I return to fh5 and fm7
I understand now why people used to say since many years ago why forza motorsport wasn't good, and it doesn't seem to have changed.
you must have an absolutely shit computer
Built a new system 2 days prior to the PC release. Game worked fine from steam for me and it unpacked in 8 minutes .
I read that some PC owners were also changing regions on windows to get around the timezones/release.
Lets face it, many more games will release needing fixes or that are not fully optomised. As for FM they spent 6 years with it, but what happens in the next year with it is what matters most.
it's good to watch these kinds of videos before one asks for a series x for christmas. i still want to play this game (this is coming from a person who willingly bought f&f crossroads deluxe edition when it released so take that as you want to), but only because of the new cars and customization. there isn't much else i would even want a new forza game for

No it's not, he played it on PC. I have it on Series X and it's amazing.
DO NOT BUY AN XBOX, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND PUT THAT MONEY TOWARDS A PC..I HAVE OWNED MY SERIES X SINCE IT RELEASED AND I BARELY DO ANY ACTUAL GAMING ON IT, WHAT GOOD IS THE "MOST POWERFUL CONSOLE" WHEN THE SELECTION OF GAMES IS HORRID, PC IS TRULY THE BEST PLATFORM FOR GAME VARIETY AND FREEDOM OF MODDING.
They down graded my subie 22b bro ! The max tire width profile is 265 now ! Wth ! It use to be 275 ,even upgrading the body parts like bumpers sideskirts and spoiler was limited to my damn 22b sti ! What a let down !
Good thing I myself wasn't immediately interested in it anyway. I might try it after it's been out for a bit if I feel like it
9:00 F1 23 has similar mod as F1 World but they didnt forced content on it you still have driver/my team intact
At least you got inside of the game, i can't even properly launch it. Days and hours gone by and i am pretty much done, might as well reinstall FM7. Or just any game that works when you install it.
ive played 10 hours roughly and not experienced one bug yet, i see alot of people reporting bugs but i honestly havent run into one...
Hmm a review based on other people's opinion without ever actually even starting the game. Great content dude.
Well you can say what you will, but on console this has been the best multiplayer racing game I’ve ever played.
How? You can’t even choose what car to drive it’s so stupid
@@triple466 wtf are you talking about? Have you even played the game?
@@ryandonaldson7302 there’s no hoppers classes I can’t just hop on and play my favorite car
@@triple466 because its specific car types, like forza gt or touring cars. Unfortunately the supra isnt available in those event types.
Built from the ground up with 16 times the details of ray tracing that just don't work
WHAT A TURN AROUND L M A O
I refunded after 78mins..... In that time I couldn't even get the FFB to enable on my Fanatec wheel either !!! hopeless.
Well get ready to get pissed because if you buy a identical car to do different tune. Well you got to start over with leveling up to upgrade it.
@@evandaymon8303 I knew that already:) it's very dumb
There is a small game called wreckfest with a small amout of car leveling up but great multiplayer. This seems to have great multiplayer as well but much more car leveling up, its exactly what i have been wanting, i cant wait!
Forza Motorsport 8 is basically from semi ground up. Should they call this game "Forza Motorsport 7.5"?
Tbh, my criticism on new FM is that the foundation of it, and it goes to development of the game.
Unlike GT7 where since Sport, they are like "Oh hey, lets make everything 0 again and don't use the older stuff so that we can make the new game better..."
Built from the ground up
Except gt7 is mid. They are lot better then forza motorsport 8 but not by longshot since those devs Dont talk to us directly and give us a guessing game instead of telling us what to expect in next update beside cars.
Not lot content and terrible game payouts.
@@evandaymon8303 Still a better game mate.
@@xXturbo86Xx eh not really when payout still suck and devs along with kaz refused to talk to us directly with there heads in there ass over things fandom really wanted.
So no disagree on it being a better game. It is fun for short bursts but nothing much to retain single players.
First 6 minutes are just "PC Issues", Console peasants feel free to skip to 6:00!
I bought the game on Microsoft store, and they refused to refund it...
Going to regret that once updates roll out, got it on steam and released at 12:01
I literally cannot afford any cars for the other career modes. I don’t understand how they expect me to afford a car for the next thing when they only gave me like $30,000 which I obviously spent on upgrading the first car they gave me so now I can’t do anything I’m so frustrated!!!!
Nonsense. You don't upgrade your car with money, but with car points. The money is only there to buy cars. Have you even played the game?
@@benn87 yes I’m sorry I was confused. I had purchased another car I wanted. A Mitsubishi FTO, and after that I had NO money and no cars to do any championships. Very poor game design. Literally soft locked immediately
@@benn87 only way to make money is to do single races over and over for like 3,000 a piece
If you want to see jumping and flying cars at the starting line....then just try to watch multiplayer replays...forward then rewind....thats all you can see at the replays!!
Dustin that sucks. Xbox version is also a bit bugged game is in a loading circle sometimes when you upgrade a car during event. Let's hope Microsoft gets their 💩 sorted than is runs better
I would love less graphics if it meant getting a polished, functional game at release.
I would have refunded it on the spot just to prove a point that this game went too far with the realism. The upgrade system is HOT GARBAGE, and the game progression is hella slow. I've played FM7 and that was fun fro a bit. This is just boring. Not buying this. TDU Solar Crown seems like a way better game and we know practically nothing about it.
I couldn't keep playing after the first 15 minutes. The game is terribly optimized on pc. I have a 12600k/3070ti/32gb ram, the game couldn't keep a stable 60fps even with ray tracing turned off.
