There was nothing that showed how an artist might use the projector. For many artists it would need to be put on stand and aim it downward to the table top so that an image could be traced. That would therefore need to have a shorter throw distance. This video did not show any artist using the projectors just people watching on a big screen.

I ended up buying a Kodak Lumina 450. It was the top of that line projector (and expensive) and maybe I could have gotten by with one of the lower levels of projector. I have a friend who is a professional watercolor artist, who does extreme detail work. She saw the projector and was amazed at the quality. She said another artist she knows has a Kodak projector that is the lowest level and that artist was happy with that model. My friend had not herself seen the lower model projector working so she could not comment on how clear the projection was. My friend was blown away with the quality of the Lumina 450 and said when her old projector dies, she would buy the Kodak Lumina 450. To add more info about the Kodak Lumina 450, I attached it to a stand that allows me to project it downward to draw on the table vs a wall. I can draw what I want to paint at a close range, for me that would be about 17 inches above my paper. I can adjust the stand higher and the projector to draw out something on a full size sheet of watercolor paper however, I only paint on a quarter of the sheet of paper so roughly 15 x 11.5 inches is the size paper I use.
I tried to find a contact at Kodak to see if they would send my friend a couple of their projectors to test. My friend does loads of online videos to teach watercolor and she could she others the differences in a couple of models and how that projector would benefit artists. Of course I didn't see anyway to actually reach Kodak for any help. Sad because there are loads of artists who would buy their projectors but it would have been nice to see and get feedback on a couple of the models.
Hope this helps someone. If anyone gets another model of these projectors and would comment we might be able to help more people.

@@ascricco987 I know I added comments a few minutes ago but wanted to go back to you personally and let you know. I think you would be happy with the Kodak Lumina if you are looking for a high quality projector. REALLY wish we all had a video from KODAK comparing ALL the models in terms of the needs of the artist. They don't have anything focused specifically on the needs of the artist. I splurged and got the expensive model Lumina 450. I didn't want to buy one of the lower models and regret that so I just saved and went with the top one. I am NOT a professional artist but even as a hobby artist I want to enjoy my time painting. I don't buy cheap paper and hope for great results, I buy the good paper and work at getting better. So, buying the best projector was a good move in my mind. No regrets.

So, no information for artists. This review like so many don't focus on using these for tracing, only gaming, presentations and watching TV.
