      Awesome. We’re getting antsy, and are ready to go camping. But it’s still too cold here in Utah. Had some rain and hail today.

    Skip the butyl tape and check out this product from Dicor. Used on a Vent install and skylight installation. Superior to the tape. Dicor 451BSG-1 Gunnable Butyl Rubber Sealant, 1.2 lbs., Grey, Mess-Free Application, Watertight Seal, Airtight Seal, Seamless Finish

      Thank you so much for watching and sharing what you used. Funny thing you mentioned this product amzn.to/49hXsWr , I just bought another brand of this product the day before you sent your message to me. I'm going to be replacing the 5 sided bathroom shower skylight dome and will give this stuff a try. Thanks so much Byron

    Also could use a heat gun set on low or a quality hair dryer to remove excess sealant tape

    Would be nice to see you on the road somewhere. We are having another snow storm today!

      Yeah hopefully we can meet up someday :) You sure have lots of snow, I don't know how I would handle not being able to get out and camp as much as we do not mention having to shovel snow all the time.

    I'm getting ready to add a cover to the one place on my camper I didn't install a maxxair deluxe fan before

    • @thetraveltrailerguy
      @thetraveltrailerguy  8 місяців тому

      The cover is easy to install and is worth having. The deluxe fan is nice and works great (a little pricey)

      @@thetraveltrailerguy with my rv armor roof I can’t take the old vent off without a service call… so I’m adding the cover and I added a Hengs Vortex fan because you mount it from the inside
