That was a good video showing how to put the covers on. Yes I am one of them. People was hesitate about putting one on and you make it look so simple. I’m definitely going to put one on mine now.
Hi Gary. I highly recommend roof vent covers. They are one of the most useful upgrades I have made on both my motorhome and my fifth wheel. And the process is really simple enough that most RV owners can do it fairly easily. I hope it goes well for you.
I enjoy your videos, thank you! You have a calming video personality! My husband and I hope to finally join the RV (full time) ranks this year Sep 2022 and I hope we are close enough to you to inspect our choice!
That's awesome Heather! Making the decision to go full-time RVing is exciting, and I hope you have fun and happy adventures on your travels. And thanks for leaving such a nice comment too!
Great video. When you install them yourself, you know that it was sealed right. I heard one person say they had theirs installed at a national "not to be named" place and they leaked the first time it rained.
You bet Roy. I know for sure that those vent cover anchors are not going to be leaking. These days, it helps if you can do as much of the work around your RV as you can for quality sake, if for no other reason.
Great video! I am adding two of these to my truck camper. Will I be able to travel down the road with the vents open using these covers? I’d like to be able to reduce the camper temperature while traveling. Thanks!
Hi Jason. I don't see why you couldn't have them open as you go down the road. The open side of the vent cover will be toward the rear of the RV, so it shouldn't be a problem. We love our vent covers and use them all the time.
I've heard that some of the other covers don't allow the vent lid to open all the way. Do these allow it to open all the way since they are Fantastic fan covers.
Very nice job Duane! That will be high on the list when we get our coach. I have a side question regarding a gas coach. Are there any companies that make an exhaust brake for a gas engine? THANKS SAFE TRAVELS
Not to my knowledge Ron. At least not one like you find in diesel engines anyway. But here is a great explanation of how to drive gasser motorhomes safely in mountain driving by Marc from RVLove - rvlove.com/rv-lifestyle/health-safety/9-tips-safely-driving-rv-steep-grades/ The video on that page is great. I hope that helps.

That's... Fantastic!
LOL!!! Great comment Jimmy. :-)

Yes they do Dennis. And that is one of the main reasons that I chose these vent covers for my rig. I didn't want to restrict any air flow in my RV.

When you say 1 hour to do this we think 8 hours for us. Lol
Ha! Ha! That's funny. Projects usually take me a while to get done, but this one was truly a piece of cake. :-)
