A parable is com~parable. Sweedenborg was a mystic, philosopher a gnostic. I have dreams that are as real as this frequency they aren’t visions but I am fascinated with sweedenborg!! I’m so happy I heard of Sweedenborg from off the left eye about 5 years ago. Swedenborg was “sensitized” to the higher mind.

Jesus never saved a penny in a bank, he didn't vote, and his constant message was love is a million times greater and more important to learn than earthly knowledge which Swedenborg was a genius at in his time.

The parable about textiles-if you take a piece of cloth & you sew another piece on there that is unshrunk-what happens to it, what happens to whine skins…? Ok, not verbatim but when I hear this parable I immediately think of the Shroud of Turin & the debacle of the initial dating when they dated the only piece of cloth that was sewed on to it to repair the only damaged part of the shroud-to me this is thought provoking, for much comes from it.

Good question, GeoMail. Those quotes both come from highly symbolic portions of the Bible, according to Swedenborg. But even on the literal sense, does that exhortation in Deuteronomy mean that the entire rest of the Bible is off limits, as it all came AFTER that directive in Deuteronomy? As for the Revelation verses, here's what Swedenborg was given to write about them: Verse 18's correspondential meaning: "People who read and know the doctrinal truths in this book now laid open by the Lord, and yet acknowledge some other God than the Lord and some other faith than faith in the Lord by adding something which destroys these two tenets, cannot but perish as a result of the falsities and evils symbolized by the plagues described in this book." Verse 19's: "People who read and know the doctrinal truths in this book now laid open by the Lord, and yet acknowledge some other God than the Lord, and some other faith than faith in the Lord, by taking away something in order to destroy these two tenets, cannot perceive or acquire for themselves anything from the Word or be received into the New Jerusalem, or have their lot with people in the Lord's kingdom." I notice that those passages refer to adding or subtracting things that will *** "destroy the two tenets of believing in the Lord and having faith in him.***. So do these ideas detract you from loving and having faith in God? For the team here, at least, the ideas ENRICH and DEEPEN that acknowledgment and faith. But everyone has to weigh these things for themselves. Personally, as well, (and this isn't Curtis here, but one of the Comment Responders), I find it difficult to believe that the God of Infinity -- omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient -- would not want to find ways of reaching all his beloved children throughout time. It doesn't make sense to me that he would limit that Divine Love/Wisdom to something written down thousands of years ago. But that's just me!

42:36 - the 'son of man' is the 'binary door' that is INSIDE you. It opens to the spirits call and causes a person to STAND. And THEN they can 'hear' the LORD speaking. The 'son of man' serves either self or God. But serves the TRUTH either way - good or evil. The 'woman' is the TORAH and the SPIRIT, Torah and Ruah are feminine words. The FEAR of you and the DREAD of you refer to different things, this is NOT written this way as a hendiasys (spelling?) a doubling of closely associated words so as to offer an expressive impact. Look at what is created vs. made in Isaiah 45:7 - it's obvious. What you FEAR is what you serve. The LORD can not be served correctly unless the LORD is feared exclusively. The Hebrew word used for dread is near identical to the way the Hebrew word for fear is used, with one clear acception. The word mora (fear) is also translated as 'awe'.

How do you explain to people who have tried this repeatedly with no success? As in, I sincerely believed and asked God to reveal himself to me or speak to me and he didn't. I felt nothing, heard nothing and saw nothing. Doesn't that mean he doesn't exist?

This was amazing, thank you so much. It is amazing how the interpretation based on literal take is also matches findings of science (big bang and appearance of different species on land and ocean, at least for the most part as far as I know). And the metaphorical interpretations also matches human inner nature. I always thought the story of Adam and eve must be a metaphor or it doesn't make sense but never thought of creation story to be so much in layers as well. Very nicely, done.

He sometimes touches on other stories in other parts of the Word, or will go on a long riff about "water" or "rock" or what-have-you. There's an old book that can help you find whether Swedenborg says anything about particular verses, and that is available online. Do you have a particular story you're curious about?

Yes, he lived out his last 3 years lodging with a barber and his wife in London. I have supposed, part of the reason was to keep his location unknown and be safe.
Swedenborg did indeed spend the last part of his life in London. He was never arrested for heresy, but my recollection is that his books were not allowed to be published in Sweden, and that the books were actually put "on trial" for a while, but then that fizzled out.

Notice that it is GOD (not YHWH) who references Abraham's ONLY son (physical) Isaac by 'name'; while the Angel of the LORD says that the ONLY SON was not 'withheld'. We are a reflection of God's knowledge on Earth through the soul which works through the higher mind that faces Heaven. Gold is the collective good works. Hence, the gold implements of the Temple. The gold was taken and stored by Babylon, and when it was misused, God was angry. So the literal word is the inner word here and the outer word in Heaven. Here, it is hidden, and in Heaven it is open to all because it is God Himself. The sword in Joshua, opens up the truth. The body is thought so the army of Joshua opened up the body of thought, which was compared to the truth. The sword splits truth from falsity, dichotomy. You see and understand the truth by comparing it with the false perception.
Anyone listening to this and hearing truth or possibility, you need to check out the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Yes, the LDS church. Isaac had great faith in God. He knew that God wouldn't have asked him to kill his own son without a greater reason. He knew how God, the Father, deeply loved him and His son. Jesus, knew How his Father loved him. Jesus had great faith in his Father. So he suffered greatly and died knowing that he would be saving God's children from certain death. 🙏🌹 This isn't to replace what Swedenborg was given through Jesus. I was given a version that many could understand 🙏🌹

Child sacrafice was apparently global back then, so it would have been normal for Abraham to do it, but Jahweh did it to make it clear he was the real God of love by saying he didn't want him to sacrafice Isaac, and then later the prophets and Jesus made it clear that animal sacrafice was also never what he wanted, and even the death of Jesus either, people say he died as a sacrafice for our sins, but holy spirit says it was more truthfully, because of our sins,,,, and the fact that he got sucked into severe judement at the temple instead of non judgement as he so clearly taught 'vengeance is mine says Jehohvah', how other could his Father forsake him,,, except Jesus had sinned when he became extremely angry,,, even though it's understandable he then fell into the fallen human condition, so the ressurection happened because Jesus had proved so full of faith and could now also intercede with the Father with compassion on our behalf as inherently sinful by by natural decent. And why are you focusing only on future life in heaven when that is only one aspect of the future of one part of humanity as they govern the earth throughout the thousand year rein of Christ,,, bible clearly says Jesus will return as he left... physical back to earth from the heavens, and what about the first and second ressurection that's clearly defined in rev, and also the innumerable amount of people who survive through arrmagedon to as bible says, never die? All this has nothing to do with your waffling about eternal happiness in the heavens,,, it's physical on a glorified earth and with heaven in our spirits as it always has been. 😊❤

Off topic for this video but curious of your thoughts on this. The recent mid air crash at Regan airport. If true that the helicopter pilot made the mistake that took so many lives. What do you thing a soul is going through in heaven knowing his earthly mistake ended so many other lives?
I think the Lord and the angels are applying their infinite love and mercy to the situation, Nicholas. Mistakes happen, the Lord always brings good out of every situation, and there's a spiritual and eternal perspective that we earthlings can't even imagine. Swedenborg tells us that the Lord is guiding EVERY human life, at all times, towards their highest possible eternal happiness. We can't begin to see that from our perspective of time and space, and it's hard to trust, but it's an interesting exercise to think about it. Blessings to all the families and loved ones of those involved in that heartbreaking accident.

43:24 - You clue to understanding is that the Angel of the Lord says, your ONLY son. How many sons did Abraham have? He had (1) physical son, and a 'son of man', which if it repents will then serve the Lord (Numbers 23:19) Most will read this verse and miss (2) stumbling blocks. Even in lacking knowledge of 'the' son-of-man, this verse is still not in error, because Abram had (1) son, and Abraham had (1 physical) son. Jesus always refers to 'the' son of man in the 3rd person and using the definite article - as to point out that it is a 'thing', that is 'inside' a person. We see this kind of referencing all throughout scripture, where 'articles' are used to describe it [son of man], such as Daniel saying, 'like a' son of man. However, the LORD speaks directly to the 'son', who will STAND... IF he [it] obeys the LORD.

47:50 - let every man be a liar. Anyways, if you look in the concordance in the area that names the area Abraham was in, the word Morah and those 'close' to it are feminine and refers to teaching and fear.
The word refers to the flow of knowledge to the mind through Eve. Abraham was given a son by God rather than taking one through a slave. This represents good and self thought. God gives a representation of Abel, whereas the other child is Earthly. God asks, Would you give up the gift I give you. If Abraham refuses, it is selfish thought ruling the gift of Godly thought. God is not selfish, so gives a ram to sacrifice. The ram signifies power, which is caught in truth. The thorns wake us up by pain. This signifies that God is the power that allows us to think. Giving the power back to God is a reversal of Eve taking power to create her own man.

Many are leaving the faith because they have no use for it anymore or are figuring out it's just a collection of man made myths. Also Christian Nationalism in America is ruining the image, not that it ever had a good one in the first place. Even if you were to only follow Jesus and his teachings, he was not without flaws. He was very anti-family, anti-marriage and he was a fear preacher and lied to his apostles about the rapture, which never happened in the given window of time, so they spent the rest of their lives being paranoid. He was a narcissist too. Said only he was sthe truth and the way, thought he was perfect and a messiah, he took advantage of people in Jerusalem by tricking them into believing he was a messiah with a prophecy he already knew about, so he also committed theft in that situation and then he thought letting a bunch of people hate him and kill him was a good thing and saved humanity? The sacrifice story doesn't even make sense...he undid the sacrifice by resurrecting and how does that dismiss the sins anyway? Why couldn't this god just, you know, forgive us. He made us this way in the first place. This I from 18 years of diving into this book, just to preempt any "you just don't understand the word of god" nonsense people like to give me. I very much understand it and so does A.I.

Why does he refuse then? I've attempted what a million Christians have told me, which is to sincerely believe and pray and ask for god to speak to you, and he doesn't. I didn't even get an answer from this Satan character when i offered him my soul via contract. No devil appeared to accept my offer and no God made itself known to offer me salvation. I've tested both and offered my soul to Satan through contract and nothing happened. I've even performed rituals to summon demons and nothing again. I've debunked all this a long time ago. In Genesis, the knowledge of God and self, or good thought and evil thought, was used to create and rule thought. When Caine, who represents the encapsulated self thought, killed Abel, the good thought stayed in Heaven and visits here to join his brother. This the soul joining the body. Satan is deceptive thought. The body of thought here, argues with the body of thought in Heaven. This is allowed because in the beginning, God created a consciousness that could look at God and discuss what he saw. God looked on as the conversation developed. Today, like Caine, we kill to win what we want, mentally, spiritually etc.

How can you prove astral projection is even real? Why do you believe it is? You're calling it a fact and yet it's not s fact, it's a claim that no one has ever been able to validate, but many have tried and they were unfortunately found to be frauds or could not perform under lab conditions. What even is the purpose of projection?
In the Torah, God flows information through Moses to the people. As we have two minds, through the knowledge of God and self, it means that their is the Earthly memory and the Heavenly memory based on truth of the soul. God forbids talking to Earthly spirits because they are selfish. Imagine talking to Hitler, not good. Remember that the soul's knowledge teaches all here to be true knowledge, but the body desires to be happy in itself. The soul casts the body away as it was simply a vehicle to think and collect thought. If the body did not open up to the soul, the bodies mind desires to continue life here. It can do this by using the energy it held its thought together with. It no longer has a body to inhabit but wanders the earth as a memory of itself. Like Caine.

The parable about textiles-if you take a piece of cloth & you sew another piece on there that is unshrunk-what happens to it, what happens to whine skins…? Ok, not verbatim but when I hear this parable I immediately think of the Shroud of Turin & the debacle of the initial dating when they dated the only piece of cloth that was sewed on to it to repair the only damaged part of the shroud-to me this is thought provoking, for much comes from it.

As I consider the message from Deuteronomy, it appears to say stay firm in the principles set down by God and don’t drift off to worship idols (Ba’al).
Good question, GeoMail. Those quotes both come from highly symbolic portions of the Bible, according to Swedenborg. But even on the literal sense, does that exhortation in Deuteronomy mean that the entire rest of the Bible is off limits, as it all came AFTER that directive in Deuteronomy?
As for the Revelation verses, here's what Swedenborg was given to write about them:
Verse 18's correspondential meaning: "People who read and know the doctrinal truths in this book now laid open by the Lord, and yet acknowledge some other God than the Lord and some other faith than faith in the Lord by adding something which destroys these two tenets, cannot but perish as a result of the falsities and evils symbolized by the plagues described in this book."
Verse 19's: "People who read and know the doctrinal truths in this book now laid open by the Lord, and yet acknowledge some other God than the Lord, and some other faith than faith in the Lord, by taking away something in order to destroy these two tenets, cannot perceive or acquire for themselves anything from the Word or be received into the New Jerusalem, or have their lot with people in the Lord's kingdom."
I notice that those passages refer to adding or subtracting things that will *** "destroy the two tenets of believing in the Lord and having faith in him.***. So do these ideas detract you from loving and having faith in God? For the team here, at least, the ideas ENRICH and DEEPEN that acknowledgment and faith. But everyone has to weigh these things for themselves.
Personally, as well, (and this isn't Curtis here, but one of the Comment Responders), I find it difficult to believe that the God of Infinity -- omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient -- would not want to find ways of reaching all his beloved children throughout time. It doesn't make sense to me that he would limit that Divine Love/Wisdom to something written down thousands of years ago. But that's just me!

42:36 - the 'son of man' is the 'binary door' that is INSIDE you. It opens to the spirits call and causes a person to STAND. And THEN they can 'hear' the LORD speaking.
The 'son of man' serves either self or God. But serves the TRUTH either way - good or evil. The 'woman' is the TORAH and the SPIRIT, Torah and Ruah are feminine words. Thus the 'seed of a woman' is SPIRITUAL that becomes PHYSICAL, manifested in accordance with the 'truth' - the 'Word'.
The 'woman' that is INSIDE US makes our choices. A choice that either produces a 'son' (who serves God), OR a 'daughter' who produces fruit (children) that are then at war with the satan. Thus ALL are either children of God, or children of wrath.
The days of Noah are about the results of conflict between those that believe and those that do not. Watered from above - through scriptures, or watered from below by mankind and his 'works'. This is why there was a 'mist' watering the ground, representing the 'water' coming from the 'earth'... ie: mankind.
It is beyond important to understand that it was there THOUGHTS that were evil - all the time. You DO NOT have to sin for this to apply, if sin is considered a 'fruit' or deed. Jesus made it clear that having even THINKING bad, is as bad as DOING bad.
ALL AUTHORITY was given to us during the times of Noah. It is a sin to fear ANYBODY or ANYTHING else BUT 'GOD', scripture points that out. Into OUR HAND all was given and the FEAR OF was transferred to US. Since everything is in FEAR of MAN... congratulations man, you are a 'god', in service to the God OF gods.
The FEAR of you and the DREAD of you refer to different things, this is NOT written this way as a hendiasys (spelling?) a doubling of closely associated words so as to offer an expressive impact. Look at what is created vs. made in Isaiah 45:7 - it's obvious.
What you FEAR is what you serve. The LORD can not be served correctly unless the LORD is feared exclusively. The Hebrew word used for dread is near identical to the way the Hebrew word for fear is used, with one clear acception. The word mora (fear) is also translated as 'awe'.

It is amazing how the interpretation based on literal take is also matches findings of science (big bang and appearance of different species on land and ocean, at least for the most part as far as I know). And the metaphorical interpretations also matches human inner nature. I always thought the story of Adam and eve must be a metaphor or it doesn't make sense but never thought of creation story to be so much in layers as well. Very nicely, done.

He sometimes touches on other stories in other parts of the Word, or will go on a long riff about "water" or "rock" or what-have-you. There's an old book that can help you find whether Swedenborg says anything about particular verses, and that is available online. Do you have a particular story you're curious about?

Swedenborg was a prophet of God just as Jakob Lorber was a prophet of God who later continued swedenborg's incredible revelation. This was and is part of the second coming - the spirit of truth.
The spirit of truth, Andy! We've had other viewers mention Jakob Lorber, and he does seem to have a lot in common with Swedenborg. I'm sure the Lord uses all kinds of people to share the spirit of truth!

Yes, he lived out his last 3 years lodging with a barber and his wife in London. I have supposed, part of the reason was to keep his location unknown and be safe.

Swedenborg did indeed spend the last part of his life in London. He was never arrested for heresy, but my recollection is that his books were not allowed to be published in Sweden, and that the books were actually put "on trial" for a while, but then that fizzled out.

Notice that it is GOD (not YHWH) who references Abraham's ONLY son (physical) Isaac by 'name'; while the Angel of the LORD says that the ONLY SON was not 'withheld'. And why are you focusing only on future life in heaven when that is only one aspect of the future of one part of humanity as they govern the earth throughout the thousand year rein of Christ,,, bible clearly says Jesus will return as he left... physical back to earth from the heavens, and what about the first and second ressurection that's clearly defined in rev, and also the innumerable amount of people who survive through arrmagedon to as bible says, never die? All this has nothing to do with your waffling about eternal happiness in the heavens,,, it's physical on a glorified earth and with heaven in our spirits as it always has been. 😊❤

Off topic for this video but curious of your thoughts on this. The recent mid air crash at Regan airport. If true that the helicopter pilot made the mistake that took so many lives. What do you thing a soul is going through in heaven knowing his earthly mistake ended so many other lives?
I think the Lord and the angels are applying their infinite love and mercy to the situation, Nicholas. Mistakes happen, the Lord always brings good out of every situation, and there's a spiritual and eternal perspective that we earthlings can't even imagine. Swedenborg tells us that the Lord is guiding EVERY human life, at all times, towards their highest possible eternal happiness. We can't begin to see that from our perspective of time and space, and it's hard to trust, but it's an interesting exercise to think about it. Blessings to all the families and loved ones of those involved in that heartbreaking accident.
For me when I acknowledged influx I sacrificed my only son to the divine. or my rational mind was upgraded, brought closer to heaven, deep diving great job😀

43:24 - You clue to understanding is that the Angel of the Lord says, your ONLY son. How many sons did Abraham have? He had (1) physical son, and a 'son of man', which if it repents will then serve the Lord (Numbers 23:19)
Most will read this verse and miss (2) stumbling blocks. Even in lacking knowledge of 'the' son-of-man, this verse is still not in error, because Abram had (1) son, and Abraham had (1 physical) son.
Jesus always refers to 'the' son of man in the 3rd person and using the definite article - as to point out that it is a 'thing', that is 'inside' a person. We see this kind of referencing all throughout scripture, where 'articles' are used to describe it [son of man], such as Daniel saying, 'like a' son of man.
However, the LORD speaks directly to the 'son', who will STAND... IF he [it] obeys the LORD.
"The Son of Man" is a fascinating bit of verbiage to study, Chris!

The word refers to the flow of knowledge to the mind through Eve.
Abraham was given a son by God rather than taking one through a slave.
This represents good and self thought.
God gives a representation of Abel, whereas the other child is Earthly.
God asks, Would you give up the gift I give you.
If Abraham refuses, it is selfish thought ruling the gift of Godly thought.
God is not selfish, so gives a ram to sacrifice.
The ram signifies power, which is caught in truth.
The thorns wake us up by pain.
This signifies that God is the power that allows us to think.
Giving the power back to God is a reversal of Eve taking power to create her own man.

Many are leaving the faith because they have no use for it anymore or are figuring out it's just a collection of man made myths. Also Christian Nationalism in America is ruining the image, not that it ever had a good one in the first place. Even if you were to only follow Jesus and his teachings, he was not without flaws. He was very anti-family, anti-marriage and he was a fear preacher and lied to his apostles about the rapture, which never happened in the given window of time, so they spent the rest of their lives being paranoid. He was a narcissist too. Said only he was sthe truth and the way, thought he was perfect and a messiah, he took advantage of people in Jerusalem by tricking them into believing he was a messiah with a prophecy he already knew about, so he also committed theft in that situation and then he thought letting a bunch of people hate him and kill him was a good thing and saved humanity? The sacrifice story doesn't even make sense...he undid the sacrifice by resurrecting and how does that dismiss the sins anyway? Why couldn't this god just, you know, forgive us. He made us this way in the first place. This I from 18 years of diving into this book, just to preempt any "you just don't understand the word of god" nonsense people like to give me. Why does he refuse then? I've attempted what a million Christians have told me, which is to sincerely believe and pray and ask for god to speak to you, and he doesn't. I didn't even get an answer from this Satan character when i offered him my soul via contract. No devil appeared to accept my offer and no God made itself known to offer me salvation. It's fine though, I don't need it anyway.

I've tested both and offered my soul to Satan through contract and nothing happened. I've even performed rituals to summon demons and nothing again. I've debunked all this a long time ago. I dont believe that Josue (Jesus) is God. The emphasis that God has regarding his Son Josue the Messiah. That we must believe in the Son to have eternal life. God is not a Liar nor would he ever deceive us. Josue is as God but, he is not God. There is only one Living God. Josue never made claim lifting himself up, it was all about his Father. Josue did say if you see me you see my Father. He was literally speaking.
