Such amazing advice! Love that you're so real and that muscle creation TAKES TIME!!! It's so hard not to get frustrated looking at Instagram posts of 8 week challenges that are obviously not real!!
Thank you for this! It’s really assuring to me. I was tracking my macros in a cut for so long I gave up! I was hungry & mad not seeing results. Right now I am taking a break from tracking all together, but I am eating intuitively & I feel so much better & my training has been on point! Once I feel mentally ready again, I’m gonna track at my maintenance for a while to see what happens! Thank you for much for always keeping it real & being helpful
This is really great info, and I greatly appreciate you sharing. I've struggled with knowing what next steps look like. I was almost 300 lbs. and have lost down to 175-180 lbs. I've been on maintenance for a while now while weight training and running. Cutting seems like the best step. Thanks again!
I think maingaining is great and then after doing this for a while people can decide whether this is working, and if they want to decrease and lose fat or gradually increase to try and build lean tissue. I think if you’re at a healthy weight trying to put lean muscle on is fine and then trying to decrease some fat . Because as you say it’s so much harder to gain the lean tissue but your BMR will go up. Whereas so many people are obese or overweight and it’s about losing that weight for health reasons I’ve loved maingaining and gradually increasing my calories and lean mass whilst losing fat at the same time. Has completely recomped my physique. Not to mention having more food to fuel workouts and have much better performance when compared to a deficit. Crazy the results you can get at maintenance and the gradual increase as your muscle mass has increased and the BMR increases. But I think people should realise just because you’re bulking doesn’t mean you have to get fat. I’ve been doing it for quite some time now measurements like my stomach and body fat have decreased and muscle mass has really increased by that gradual caloric increase. Hope more people try this as it really is so effective. I always have the voice in the back of my hand saying I need to diet but I’m quite lean and muscular eating this increase.not to mention better strength workouts and cardio/ swims etc. whereas I feel like cutting yeah if people are overweight or obese etc losing fat is ideal for their health, reducing complications etc. but If you’re doing it for aesthetics then yeah cut can be good for those lean people trying to get next level shredded but I think if you’re maingaining correctly you can do that to. Unless you’re trying to be stage lean which isn’t the majority of the population. Think maingaining or gradually “bulking” is good but then implementing mini cuts if you think you’ve put body fat on in the process. Handy video ! Love your hair like this too 💕
The biggest issue with being smaller, I LOVE cardio and stepping back from Metcons and in favor of a traditional progressive overload has been hard and challenging. I love lifting, but have struggled with "working out to eat" for a long time. But great video as always!
I used to watch your videos so much a couple of years ago (4yrs ago) on a different account and I’ve been trying to find you for months!!! I finally found you after lots of searching! 😭😭🥺
When you’re doing a bulk, what should your training look like? More weight lifting/progressive overloading and less HIIT and cardio? Or does it matter?
How would you figure out your body fat % & what a realistic amount to lose would be? Are the “smart” scales even close to being accurate? As always LOVE all the content you put out!!!
I'd love to bulk rn but every time I lift the weights something always hurts and puts me out.. whether my knee or ankle or shoulder or HIP omg my hip SUCKS. I feel so stiff in my hips. I stretch before/after and even doing some mobility work but I just can't seem to get over this shitty hump. 😒

Mine stays the same - I create a surplus via my food!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
I just love your theme song, never gets old
Really loved this! Thank you so much. Xoxo from Seattle.
Question: if you join BIN let’s say middle program. Would the coach ask what I do for exercise and help guide me to where i would need to start?
^I have the same question
This was a brilliant video 👌😎

Super helpful!!!
This is great. Seriously. I do have a question- do you track your calories or macros? I know my fitness pal is not exact with calories.
Macros!
Love you!!

What do you recommend to someone who knows how to track calories but has a hard time with binge eating.
A therapist or psychiatrist who specializes in eating disorders.
You’re amazing
Are you wearing contacts?
No?!
