It's funny how at the time this fight was taking place, Lennox's former sparring partner Mike Tyson had been the reigning Heavyweight Champion of the world for two years, having become champion at the ripe old age of 20 in 1986.
Tyson and Lewis weren't sparring partners, per se. They had a short sparring stint of a few days when Lewis and his trainer drove up to Catskills, NY to meet Tyson and find out what the fuss was all about with him.
