fr, i thought i was the only one that noticed. not alot of comments referring to that.
The referee should have noted that the player in the red corner repeatedly poked him in the back of the head during the clinch.
This was to protect the player in the blue corner who received a punch to the back of the head.
This should be a priority rather than telling both players to listen carefully to break instructions.

how on earth was that an early stoppage?? what happened to a count to 10, surprised the referee didn't get touched up
Language barrier helped to save the ref.
He got up and tried to go straight to fight while still visibly dizzy. He didn't even pay attention to what happened. If he took a hit in that condition it could be very dangerous, so the early stoppage was correct.

Can anyone tell me why in amateur boxing it looks like the gloves are pillows with absolutely no power? It’s almost like women’s boxing where the shots are just thrown in abundance because there’s no fear of anything being returned because it just rolls off the face.
Trust me the gloves aren't pillows although they have that cushion you will feel the punch.
It's cause amateur boxing uses points based on how many times you hit them. The round score doesn't matter. Red can win the first two rounds and still lose the fight if blue lands 100 punches in the 3rd round. So, they just do a bunch of fast punches and hope to land as much as possible.
