So we just cut my stock springs a bit. When we took them out, we found that at least 3/4 of a coil was RUSTED to the control arms in front, and it was a clean cut off of the rest of the spring..

I need help! I crashed my 97 mustang into a palm tree trunk and now I have my front right tire pushed back. it rubs alot on my fender. I've put in new struts but still the same. I also notice that my wheel ,when straight, it's slightly to the right. Would I have to change the k member or would I have to replace my a arm, steering rack, outer tie rod etc?

whats the whine on the 2v? its not boosted right? i ask because ive got the same whine on my 2v but its automatic so it only happens when theres about 50% throttle givin above 2500 rpms.. i just figured it was the cams or the plastic intake that sucks so bad. ALso, im not talking about the timing chain whine that is notorious on the 2v in the high rpms..

What spring rate did you go with? I have a full UPR set up (basically identical w/o the viking shocks) and it rides like a stiff boi honda lol.. my rates are 10/250 and 10/150.

do yall ever travel to the east coast? i got a single 62mm hellion turbo on a 2001 cobra with a bunch of mods i desperately need to tune it to ct weather and 93 octane, already has everything she would need just needs some love dialing in the motor to work well in combination with the turbocharger system air intercooled as well, ton of parts i would love to even road trip your way and get this baby dialed in if you could help?@ I have the delta force interface software i saw a cd and a usb port so im guessing ill have to use my macbook or maybe my ipad if i can find the right apple cable if it even exists.. but yea let me know if you can help me tune this baby in its a legit 01 cobra needs some love feels like fuel cuts if u get on it and spool up the turbo and shes blowing white smoke ever since i put shell v power 93 octane in her.. service light came on i bought a new fuel cap with key and it went off in a couple miles... please help i hope this isnt a blown head gasket!! also needs some gasket for the driveshaft mount that mounts up to the tranny.. plz help stang bros..!! im in CT but would be willing to roadtrip and meet up with some dope ass mustang heads that can help me get my 4 valve running perdy again.. thanks god bless speed safely, -P3T3R

Maybe just my OCD, but why not clean, pressure wash and paint the rack and pinion? Also all the other miscellaneous parts while you are under there. If you are going through all this effort already it should be worth it no? Either way props man👍

You're not missing anything. Just don't knock it when lowering the k-member and you won't die.

all you did was trans jack the motor? anything else securing it while the subframe was being replaced?

um i just noticed that the cam cover on the driver side oil fill is the older non pi style. the motor been replaced on thiscar?
It is absolutely possible that the engine could have been replaced before.

i would look at the intake manifold see if the first intake runner runs to the pass side or the driver side.
Did the kit come with the shocks?
I think you have to order them separate because I ordered the kit for my coyote swap and all they gave me were the springs and adjusters.

loosen the motor mounts and raise the motor , its a b#@$% but usually can be done in a couple of hours . Had to do it twice on mine lol

Lil Dez I have same exhaust but with off road x pipe on my 98 you'll love it I always recommend that setup for 2vs

The motor wasn’t in there much longer after this. It was 4v swapped later
Well once k member is swapped it's much easier to work on you can even do header swaps with the upr k member in place
