OK, true story. I deliver mail and the other day I pulled up to a box and I looked down and there was a squirrel, cut in half with its ribs pulled out and its spine curled up. A human did that, a psychopath human did that. Then I remembered about a year ago, I was at the house next-door delivering a package and the family was out side and their 10-year-old son walked up to me, licked my arm, and said I just wanted to know what you tasted like. I was freaked out and the mom just said oh don’t worry about him. Well, I think I should, and I think a lot of people should.
Yeah, we'll be seeing that kid on the news one day... scary. And he'll prob have his mother's corpse up in her room while wearing her clothes and "taking care of her" like she's still alive. Seriously. Hope she comes to "worry about him" before it's too late.

But come to find out, I didn't really "seem to feel" anything very deeply; I was severely depressed. But, as I got older, got sober, and finally got some really excellent therapy, the guilt for all the horrible things I did in my drink/drug days hit me like a fucking industrial bulldozer. That was why I was so extremely depressed; I'd been sober for about 12 yrs, and apparently even my dysfunctional neurochemistry struggled to hold back all those excruciating feelings. The ability to emotionally detach from a situation is important in an emergency. To be able to assess a situation quickly and calmly is far more useful than running around flapping your arms. I had a serious motorbike accident a number of years ago and I could detach from my injuries [leg broken in three places, broken arm, couple of broken ribs] and the possible consequences including death if my internal bleeding was more severe than it was in order to tell people how to look after me and provide first aid until the ambulance arrived. I've also had other entertaining motorbiking moments and injuries to deal with in others and instances when scuba diving that keeping calm helped prevent things going wrong to the point of death. Worryingly I have been told several times that I lack fear or have a high pain threshold. They add up, with the bodies in the cellar, to be being a bit more psychopathic than I thought I was. I seen to have missed out on the charm part though.
I wouldn't equate staying calm in the face of danger with being a psycopath. And maybe you weren't saying that either. I am someone who wears my feelings on my sleeve. I'm not happy about this trait, but I don't think that's changing as I'm nearly 50 years old. I get flustered with the little things. But when the big things happen, I do tend to find focus and just deal with the situation without letting the anxieties take control. I don't believe that's psychotic behavior.
My first husband and lord could he play the charming, lovable evil man. So much to say but not to release again in this moments. He was just evil, period. And now the my second husband passed always unexpectedly…. That 17,000 owed in child support would be helpful. But not going to happen. Then abuse I lived through. Having to drop out of massage school due to the bruising all over my body’s from him. Just a terrible man that had me fooled until a doctor told me to run. Oh and getting a call from a GANG member telling me that he owes and they don’t want me to go down for him so to take my little girl and leave, or I’d be connected. Ugh…. So many years
I'm sorry for the loss of your new husband. You are now unfortunately way stronger than you should have to be. I know that feeling all to well. You are allowed to feel better, you are allowed to be happy/happier ... you are allowed to live in peace. I hope you are no longer living in fear. Sending you healing, love, peace, independence and prosperity ❤!
Story time, I'm 51, and from my teenage years to last year, I was diagnosed as autistic, but I knew they were wrong, I did many tests that included MRI, EEG, and cognitive tests as well, and they changed the diagnostic to ASPD. I do care about my kids and grandkids, and other close family members. Other people, not so much. They told me it has to do with the amygdala and the frontal lobe of my brain that doesn't function properly. I never turned to a criminal because I didn't need to, and I have a cognitive understanding of emotions, but I don't feel a high range of them, I'm neutral, happy, angry. That's it. I would say that it's very easy for me to get people to do what I want. Since I'm very mentally stable, I assume it means that I would be one. I would say that many things in this video are inaccurate and don't apply to everyone who has the diagnostic.
Can one be an autistic psychopath? I'm late diagnosed autistic also, and used to wonder if the weight of my socially adverse experiences had turned me into one bc I tend to have few compunctions about sticking to the truth to cover my ass whenever my drug abuse got me into trouble. Hate violence and cruelty, though
I haven't watched yet, but I have maybe THE answer! The most scary thing about psychopaths is that You can marry one & not know it! Psychopath? Sociopath? IDK, but I married one. Had no clue! I was so naive!
Love your shirt! I've been on a Godzilla binge for a few days, now. I can deal with wholesale carnage in movies, but torture, or watching people suffer in hopeless situations? - nope!
Can we use the term active psychos? I am a major psychopath but I'm not acting out. But if one were to see in my mind well they would see why I'm so twisted as well as be traumatized by what would be seen.
@10:33 yes that’s what happened with my ex fiancée. She destroyed me. I didn’t realise that she was likely a psychopath until far too late. She was manipulative, she gaslit me so many times blaming me for things that I didn’t do. She would concoct stories and say things that made zero sense. I wish that I had never met her as I feel a broken mess these days even though I’m trying to be strong. Luckily we broke up before we got married or there’s no knowing how all of this would have ended up.
I've always suspected myself of being maybe a borderline psychopath. I'm good at lying if needed, I'm decent at manipulation, I'm very good at seeming like a sweet people person but really I hate humanity as a whole and am just very good at adapting to whoever I'm communicating with at the time. Not to mention I have had fantasized about being a female serial killer and almost killed my witch of a grandma when I was just 13yrs old. I just have a line I'd never actually cross.
I have also always wanted to die or at least have a chance to fight to save a loved one. So the study between psychopathic tendencies and wanting to be a hero really does make sense to me. I always said dying for someone I love is how I'd love to die.
@@karamedley6229Psychopath rarely "hate" anyone, they usually couldn't care less. They don't usually have emotional outbursts and aren't depressed. They have a great emotional stability. Those videos are spreading false information and stereotypes more often than not.

This is a very strange video 📹 , but at least I know what to look for when I'm around other people in my life 😮. Be careful around other people just to be on the safe side folks 😉.
This is a subject I've been interested in because UA-camr Jimmy Dore has often referred to politicians and other notable public figures as psychopaths or sociopaths. The technical term is antisocial personality disorder, but I don't think that matters too much. I've done research on applicable traits a number of times and wondered if particular people I've encountered (like my U.S. representative's chief-of-staff) would qualify as a sociopath or psychopath. If someone is a compulsive liar and gaslighter like the aforementioned person, then it makes them a strong candidate for me.
This shows to me the severe lack of comprehension that is inherent to psychology, a big farce to humanity as a whole. The penchant for believing in psychology also typifies the stupidity of people in general.
I was unfortunately married to a male who was and is narcissistic/abusive. I don't know if he was also a psychopath or a sociopath. But, I do know he was one of those along with narcissistic. I'm so grateful to have gained my divorce from him 4 1/2 years ago. I also moved to a new place about 3 hours away from my old town (where he still lives).
This is what iis scary to me. I can watch horror films... But the fact the are actual people in real life like this.... I dated one and it took me awhile to get away. This was a very interesting, thanks for doing this. I love lists 25.
Ok, I have an extremely high pain threshold, but I was tortured by animals/pets in my youth! Does that make me a psychopath or just weird. As a teen in the 1980s, I used to smash down a hornets nests every year, but it was my dad who asked me to do it! Luckily didn’t get stung often. Our childhood fun is now classed as abuse. Such a shame.
@@lydiapetra1211 I didn’t kill the hornets just knocked down their nest so they’d either build it higher or somewhere else. The nest was in easy reach & next to kids climbing equipment in a pub garden, so they couldn’t stay there.
Now, my uncle has never been diagnosed, but having studied (amateurishly, since my body wouldn't let me finish college) abnormal psychology for 20 years with a huge interest in serial killers and those closest to them, I'm positive my uncle is a psychopath. He's never killed anyone, as far as I know, but whenever my aunt is said to be hurt or sick, the family's first instinct is that my uncle made her that way and we hope she survives the illness or injury.
I will explain between of an psychopath and sociopath, i am diagnosed one with schizoid and ASPD by age 26 by 2 licensed psychologist back then. We start with an psychopath….Psychopath it’s a genetic condition, means he/she was born with it, it’s not a choice. Psychopaths: cold, unfeeling, callous, uncaring, master manipulators, they can hide their identity and fit into society, no fear, calm, no empathy at all and very calculating and very successful in real life because no empathy. Pretty much genetic…. Now Sociopaths are made by severe trauma and genetic plays a roll as well to develop sociopathy, let’s say the baby carry the genetics from the birth but duo abuse they went through as a child their genetics popped out and they become ‘’different’’ that’s how you develop into sociopath. Sociopaths: reckless, short-tempered, callous, uncaring, against the law, impulsive, limited empathy, they know what is right and wrong but don’t care and do it, criminal, cruel, parasitic lifestyle, opportunistic, manipulative, muted, blunted emotions, have anxiety, stress, fear but not like normal people, eccentric, bizzare at times. Sociopath: against the society, remember that. Now there are high functioning ones who have a stable job, they will behave exactly like an psychopath, blend in. Only they still have trouble to follow rules and blend in because of their impulsivity behavior and showing their true colors…. I can relate to psychopaths but i am not one if that make sense? So that makes me sociopathic at degree because my mask slips off at times as well at work, public….By showing my true color, indifference, cold towards people feelings. I have emotions but more muted, blunted in. I don’t get short-tempered at all. Unless you provoke me in severe way in real life. Just don’t poke me with an stick and you’ll be fine. Treat everyone with respect. If they respect you, you respect them back, if they don’t, your call you don’t need to respect them back. Narcissists are worse than ASPD. They’re drama makers, gaslighting, bullying people, acting like children, bringing toxicity into your relationships. Basically we don’t care about society when it collapses it’s not our concern, it’s you problem not us. We don’t care. PS: Have a nice day.
Don’t forget about the people that say you did something that you didn’t actually do and are 100% convinced that it occurred that way I dated one for three years When I confronted her with the fact that I never put my hands on her her response was but you wanted to Sometimes you just can’t
Honestly, considering how big of a problem empathy burnout is among health care workers, psychopathy could be a boon. It could be beneficial to have someone who can turn off their empathy and focus solely on saving lives without the very human possibility of making mistakes due to becoming too personally attached or caring too much.

You explained it very well
My first husband and lord could he play the charming, lovable evil man.
How does a crazy person go through the forest ? It takes the psychopath .
Story time,
I'm 51, and from my teenage years to last year, I was diagnosed as autistic, but I knew they were wrong, I did many tests that included MRI, EEG, and cognitive tests as well, and they changed the diagnostic to ASPD.
As you do care about a select few, I would say sociopath.
I would love to know what Scott Peterson scored on that test.
I haven't watched yet, but I have maybe THE answer! The most scary thing about psychopaths is that
You can marry one & not know it! Psychopath? Sociopath? IDK, but I married one. Had no clue! I was so naive!
Great vid
Hitchcock's movies give good portraits of psychopaths. His second to the last movie "Frenzy" has a very likable, charming killer.
That’s 1% too much
Rather deal with them then lgbtq
@@robertebert3641*covert, traumatized psychopaths
From #8-2 are the only ones that I don't have, thank goodness. I really don't want to know how I'd be if I had all of these. lol
@@karamedley6229Psychopath rarely "hate" anyone, they usually couldn't care less. They don't usually have emotional outbursts and aren't depressed. They have a great emotional stability. Those videos are spreading false information and stereotypes more often than not.

I thought Oklahoma, but when you said Connecticut I remembered what it’s like to live here and I understand 😂
For those of us who can turn our feelings on and off whenever I want scares me a lot more than people who could never understand
Does the thing about turning empathy on and off work for sociopaths? Cause i have empathy but have been called a sociopath alot by professionals
#23. Controlling empathy. Thats a very useful thing i had to learn to do. Im very empathetic. Always have been. And its gotten me hurt most of the time. Being too empathetic. So ive had to learn to shut off my empathy at certain times to keep myself okay. I still have a heart and am empathetic. But i do control it sometimes now. But meh. Maybe im just a psycho path. Id dig deeper into this but im at work
Love the hat Mike!
I keep hearing you say "cycle paths" 😂
🚲🚲🚲🚲
I can't remember his name, but the guy who directed the Exorcist said that ifhe didn't direct movies, he would be a serial killer.
Blatty ?? Or Friedkin ??
Friedkin
They can fake empathy.
I'm sceptical about No 5.
This is a very strange video 📹 , but at least I know what to look for when I'm around other people in my life 😮. Be careful around other people just to be on the safe side folks 😉.
It' s not that strange.
Physiological is such an awesome subject
My ex-wife is a Sociopath. No, im not saying this because she is my ex. She is diagnosed.
Im a psychopath. I dont even notice snd i dint want to hurt anyone
Bloody hell! My neighbour will be ignored way more from now on.
Psychopaths? Yep I've met a few.
I was around one and didn't know now i feel like who was that. Weird people out there.
I just want to say I ❤ your shirt.😂
Could that self-serving malignant narcissist be one of them?
Are you referring to an orange one with a bad wig from the US?
is that a bad being able to control empathy? cos i wouldnt mind being able to do thaat lol
Sometimes I think having no emotions would be a good thing.
My brother says he registers on this scale but he is to empathtic for that.
Why does DC not surprise me!
Well about about 23. I look at horror movies and kind of chuckle a little. I have a dark sense of humor so. Because I know it’s not real
This is what iis scary to me. I can watch horror films... But the fact the are actual people in real life like this.... I dated one and it took me awhile to get away.
This was a very interesting, thanks for doing this. I love lists 25.
Oh so that’s why I have such a high pain tolerance!😂✌️
#23 suggests the series Dexter was ahead of its time.
The Godzilla shirtis very appropriate...
I am admittedly a psychopath. Thankfully, I’ve managed a wife, kids and full time job
It's never fun to kill animals... including mosquitoes or ants...
@@lydiapetra1211 I didn’t kill the hornets just knocked down their nest so they’d either build it higher or somewhere else. The nest was in easy reach & next to kids climbing equipment in a pub garden, so they couldn’t stay there.
@@amandaholt5791 read your last line... you considered it childhood fun...
Hey Mike🌼🍃Well there ya go Very Interesting🌺✌️💚🌈😎🌴☀️🌊
Psychopaths aren’t always violent though. Some are people in authority jobs
You probably walked by one today... 👀😳 Dude! I've been inside all day, only the Instacart driver was here! 😂😂😂😂
Mike most of my ex GFs were, I called them psychos for short.
Every guy says that! Lol
I, personally , do not find "the switch" terrifying. Mostly because I've been living with it my whole life
16 - Just look at Wade Wilson "the Deadpool Killer" and all the women that faun over him
I saw his picture and I don't know why he's so creepy...abd scary looking..
You need to learn the difference between psychoaths and sociopaths.
Don’t forget about the people that say you did something that you didn’t actually do and are 100% convinced that it occurred that way
I dated one for three years
When I confronted her with the fact that I never put my hands on her her response was but you wanted to
Sometimes you just can’t
Love the Godzilla shirt.
New video!! FriYay!!!!
Great list. Now excuse me, I need to return some videotapes
Love the Godzilla shirt 🤘
Honestly, considering how big of a problem empathy burnout is among health care workers, psychopathy could be a boon. It could be beneficial to have someone who can turn off their empathy and focus solely on saving lives without the very human possibility of making mistakes due to becoming too personally attached or caring too much.
When it comes to the individual, we may all have differences. But as human, a species, we're almost all the same.
